We're booked for October 2012 at the Polynesian!!!! It will be my DH and mine's 15th wedding anniversery and our DS's 12th birthday. Major celebration! We will be traveling with our three children, other family members, and friends to make one mega grand gathering. We are so excited about everything new coming in 2012 and wondering how we're going to be able to stand the wait. We're also hoping beyond hope that free dining will be offered during our stay. That would make this trip absolutely perfect.:woohoo::cool1:

So glad you started this thread! Can't wait for our October 2012 Poly stay! Lighter crowds, cooler weather, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, my favorite! Celebrating my daughter's 15th birthday with Great friends!!! Come on free dining!

I can't wait either!!!This is going to feel like the longest wait in history!

We are getting ready to book October 2012 also. We ususally go in September but hope for cooler weather in October. We'll be staying at POFQ! Can't wait!! :cool1:

Yeah!! We are also planning an October 2012 Polynesian stay!! The Poly has been my dream resort for a long time!! We booked last week and will be down there for a week! The kids will be 7.5 & 4.5 (really hoping my daughter will hit that 40" mark, I think she is right at 35 inches right now). Thinking about attending MNSSHP and we will for sure be checking out some of the F &WF! I have always wanted to go to WDW during the fall!! :goodvibes

Yeah on your October 2012 Poly reservation! :thumbsup2

DH, DD & I will probably be back at the Poly in October 2012 too. Ya see, the even years are our Disney "ON" years ...... so 2010 was our last trip and 2012 would be our next trip.

However, we are unexpectedly going THIS October too thanks to DMIL. My DFIL passed away in January and my DMIL feels bad they never got to go back to WDW. She wanted to go and and asked if we'd go with her....her treat. :woohoo:

So, I'm still sticking to the plan that 2012 would be an "ON" year and that we'll go .... I think that's what DH is thinking too. At least I hope so!!

Have fun planning your trip!

Debbie

We can't decide between September or October 2012 yet, but we're leaning toward October because its cooler!!

We've gone in September and loved the low crowd levels, but the heat wore us out too fast. We vowed never to return when it was this hot. This will be our first time going in October and I have heard from so many others that October is perfect not only for the low crowds, but also for the cooler weather so we are very excited about gonig in October. This will also be our first time at the Poly and on deluxe level. We usually choose moderate and our number one pick is always POR because they accomodate a family of five and it's just an awesome resort.

We're going in October 2012 too! Not completely set on what week though. Maybe the week of the 15th or the week afterward. We're planning on it being Baby's first trip/birthday trip (she's due the last week of October 2011). We'll be taking our first DVC trip staying at our home resort of BLT! We can book our room in November!

Just called Disney Reservations because I saw on the Disney World website that free dining was offered through Oct 2012. After much research by the cast member it was such a disappointment to find out that was only for Canadian residents.:confused3 The cast member was very kind and told me to check back at the end of the month for possible free dining for october 2012. The cast member kept repeating himself over and over so maybe that's good sign folks! He also told me Disney usually releases their discounts at the end of the month. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!:wizard:

Nothing is 100% set in stone but it looks like mid October 2012 I'll being taking my first ever couples trip to WDW! We'd be staying at the Wilderness Lodge (if nothing else I know I'm staying in my favorite hotel :lovestruc) and it's be my boyfriend's first trip to WDW on top of it!

I've been to WDW three times in November but this will be the first time I've gone in Oct; I'd love to go back in November (it is my birthday month :rolleyes1) but I want to go to MNSSHP and get more than 3 days to enjoy the Food and Wine Festival.

Now just to get the ball really rolling so I can get into full on planning mode!
