October 2012 Planning.. Anyone else?

We'll be there Oct. 16-21! So excited and driving DH crazy. We're staying at the Desert Inn and Suites.

We're going October 10-14, part of the Arizona Fall Break Stampede Me my husband, and two boys DS1 & DS2.

We're staying at FFI (for the first time off property) and doing a three day park hopper (10th and 14th are going to be laid back travel days instead of our usual wake up at 3 a.m. to go and leave LA at 4 p.m. for that exhausting drive home)

Halloween Party tickets purchased already for October 12

Probably Ariel's Character dining on Thursday, 10-11. The Costco package we got has a 'Premium' Character dining included, and from what I can gather that is either Ariel or Goofy's. We tried Goofy's before and it didn't do it for us with the buffet.

If they are open today on the holiday, I'm going to call Character dining to talk with a chef about our dining options with my DS's food allergies and then make seating reservations. We usually can only eat at Cafe Orleans, Carnation, Rocket Pizza Port, so I'm excited for the opportunity to see what we can do at some of the new DCA restaurants plus the some of the new items at the counter restaurants.

This will be our first time during Halloween, so we're pretty excited.

I'll be taking my family down to Disneyland Oct 21-28. We're staying at the Newport Marriott. It'll be a little bit of a daily drive, but we couldn't beat the price anywhere else. We're also going to attend the Halloween Party on Oct 23. We'll be the family (Me, Wife, Daughter (7), Son (5 1/2), Son (4)) dressed up like a Scottish "Brave" family! Kilts, home-made Merida dress, and all!

My husband and I, and our 3 kiddos will be making our third family trip to DLR October 7-11! We got awesome airfare on Southwest and really great rate at the Hampton Inn and Suites Anaheim. We will be attending the 10/9 Halloween Party. We've never been to DL during Halloween time are are really excited to see the HM. We always watch Nightmare Before Christmas after trick or treating on Halloween. So happy to be part of the October 2012 club!

I can only imagine. I only have memories of the Matterhorn and the Submarine ride from that trip but remember having a blast on Matterhorn going on it over and over again! Can't wait to experience all that DL and DCA has to offer!

9/27-10/6. One night at Lemon Tree Hotel & Suites Anaheim, seven nights at Dolphin’s Cove Resort (one bedroom timeshare), one night at Hotel Menage Anaheim Hotel. When we went in 2010 we skipped the party. I regretted it. We park hopped to DCA and it was so packed that we just headed back to our hotel. This time we are going...so to answer your question...yep it is worth it and we are spending the same.

So, its not a good idea to head over to DCA during party? It will just be my wife and I so we are not interested in the party.
