No from what others said on the dates for that week the free dining wont start until October 19th If you can start your vacation day on the 19th that would work. Unless they change it because they are not filling enough rooms. My daughter did get a 10% off pin for that time period but thats not hardly enough for us.

Someone posted on the other thread that the dates were blocked out until the 20th so you'd have to check in on the 21st. I hope that isn't true....we wanted to check in on the 20th and have it for the remainder of our trip.

Here are the 2 pins I know that some have gotten. These were the dates available for the promotion

Dates are from 08/01- 12/20 EXCEPT Nov 17-23

Most have gotten these dates

Yea the thread Blackout dates for October says the bounceback offer (I think it's a 35% bounceback offer) had the 20th blocked out. A couple of people on there hinted that the same dates were blocked out of the FDing promotion

I hope not....the week starting Saturday the 20th is our alternate dates since I'm pretty sure the consensus is that the week of the 13th is blocked out.

Apologize for jumping in at end, but the pins you know of... Are they for FD or discount? We are going 10/11- 10/15 and we are hoping for a discount. We did receive the FD pin for the dates you listed under "most have gotten" but we would rather have the discount. Thanks!!

When I called, they told me to keep checking in July or August, because then they *might* open up the free dining plans to the GP. I really hope so, cuz our dates there are Oct 28-Nov 2!

I called up and used the bottom one that Mary posted and it was for FDIng with the same dates.

No promotions have been released yet for the general public for October maybe within the next couple of months. Last year I think they came out in August. I hope it will be sooner this year

Do you call Disney or someone else to see if you have a pin code? I tried to ask on live chat, but they said it goes through someone else. I got an email from Disney Destinations a few weeks ago, but didn't pay much attention and now I'm wondering if I had a code.

I know just from what they told me that you can always call Disney and ask if you have a pin code...they save them in the system to who they send them too just in case it gets lost or deleted. So you can call and check and they'll be able to tell you!

I have never received any e mail's or snail mail from Disney, and I had booked a trip with two rooms for last december, One for myself and one for my daughter and her husband and children. She received the pin about two weeks ago and have free dining for the last two weeks in October, and you can use it up to 3 rooms. So if you booked other rooms with different family member's have them check they might have something. Good luck to all of you I know the FD is a great saving's especially when you go with a lot of children we will have 5 and 4 adults.

This year, I got a 20% pin code and booked for October, but am hoping for a gp release of room rate discounts. Anybody else out there waiting for the same thing or have any hints from Disney as to whether or not this will happen? I am waffling back and forth on whether to cancel the package.....

Call Disney reservations and tell them you received an email from them and think it may have had a discount pin but in it was deleted and you were calling to see if you have a pin.

I got the go ahead from my husband to start planning a Disney vacation about 6 weeks ago, went online, saved a few quotes for September/October and I got the pin code in the mail like clockwork about 3 days later. It is the first time I have ever gotten a pin code and boy was I surprised how quickly it came!

I am hoping the powers that be at Disney start panicking about the weak economy and release some attractive deals!!!

SAD TO SAY.... I'm leaving... gonna have to start 'code watching' for Oct 2013 now. I never got a pin either, but not why I'm switching. Turns out the lady that put in a 'code' for me had listed it as a AAA code. Not sure how that would have worked since I don't have AAA????
