Booked a cruise on the Dream last fall...just added 2 days at Pop before and 4days after at POFQ...now all I need is free dining so excited with or without deals, can hardly wait

You are my kind of traveller! Enjoy! I haven't been able to convince my husband to try DCL (I sailed with them 6 times with my girls as a single mom back in the day), but we did book an 11 night cruise out of Miami and I talked him into 5 days at Disney prior to our sailing.

Have a package booked at CSR for 10/22-10/29 and REALLY want a discount or better yet free dining. If nothing is released by our 45 day mark, we may just cancel altogether and change flights to go to Wash DC. Sigh.....would much rather play in WDW than have a "learning" vacay thru the museums and capitol.

Howdy neighbor What are your dates? We realized this was the last time we would be able to take a vacation during the school year before oldest DD enters high school so we are taking advantage of teacher convention week. Our district also does parent-teacher conferences the same week so the kids will only miss one and a half days of school. We don't like to vacation during spring break because places are too crowded and DH can't take vacation between Thanksgiving anf New Years so.....this October is it! We bought tickets thru SW so that we would have flexibility. We are flying out of Midway to save $$$.

We are going the 25th-Nov. 2nd. We had a similar realization. Our oldest will be 9, so the last trip with him being a child in Disney's eyes. Also the baby will still be a lap kid, so no airfare there...and it will be the last time we can stay in a moderate. So plan to book tomorrow since they just announced that the park ticket prices will be going up on Sunday. We are flying Airtran. October is always the best time to go. We plan to do MNSSHP...my favorite! Hoping for some free dining to come our way...already have all our ADRs done. Good luck!

So we're heading down Oct 21 -28, and we're also from So WI (Janesville). We've booked and we're going - it's our very first trip! But we sure would love a discount! And better airfare prices on the Southwest flights that I'm coveting.

Good question. Now that Disney has released the 2012 priceing on tix, rooms and DP maybe they will be offering a fall 2011 into 2012 promotion earlier too so they can get bookings to make those 3rd and 4th quarter earnings go up.

They will have to offer more than FD for it to make it worthwhile for me to re-book my October vacation now that tix prices have gone up. 35-40 % off room rates would be nice

Not sure if there is a pin code available yet but we called to get our rooms on the hopes that the free dining will happen and I had a pin attached to my name and got rooms at All-Star Sports for $53.00 a night for week nights and $67.00 for weekend nights!! We have not gotten a good deal like this in a few years. We are going for 7 nights so even with the tickets going up it is still a great deal. We may even not get the free dining if it happens because we have saved so much on the room price. I would encourage everyone to ask when you call for a pin attached to your names!! Good luck and we are headed in October for our 15th family trip since 2000.
