You can join Alamo Insider if you are from the US or Canada. I will say that the SUV prices are not coming down that much, but the fullsize should be dropping.

Using the codes that I used (insiders id code and AA $35 coupon, I see the full size for about 258 and the suv at 414.

After sitting somewhere near $300 for quite a while, we had a lot of movement on our rental today! Now we've got a fullsize from 10/8 to 10/15 from Alamo for $187. I used the 7014667 contract id and the insiders double upgrade coupon AU2852SDA (picked midsize, which was surprisingly cheaper than the economy rate).

I was sure it wasn't going to come down at all since it's the holiday weekend, but I was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully it'll come down a bit more!

You are correct. You don't scan the bar code, you swipe a credit card. I was thinking of a different system.

Check again! I am down to $182 this morning for 10/14-10/22 standard (full size at MCO). I still am getting the best rates on the VISA codes/coupon!

Seems I can book 10-4 through 10-11 + 1 hour for $75 less then booking 10-4 through 10-9 + 1 hour

My reservation of $100 is still the best I have seen, actually the best its been lately is $106 for 9/27-10/6 midsize thru alamo. So glad I reserved when I did, but my hopes of $89 is dwindling as I am only 12 days out

BJ's AD8Z21SDB is for 10 days. Curious, no BJ stores in my area, do you have to show coupon or membership card? alamo did make me produce a AAA card in the garage a few years ago.
