October 2010 Waitlists

I am waitlisted for CL at AKV for 3 nights in mid October. I figured we had nothing to loose and I am certainly not holding my breath. But if we get it then cool We already have a room at Kidani for those nights and will get to see the resort either way.

We have consistently gone in October since we have become Disney fans. We book at our home (SSR), and then at the 7 month window try to get different resorts. So far we have stayed at OKW,BWV's and AKV. This year we got a week in a 1-Bedroom at AKV - and we love that resort. I did try to get BWV's, but they were booked, and I just dont want to bother waitlisting. We love WDW, and dont really care where we stay, and I dont like to move in the middle of our vacation - so the most important thing for us is to get the full week booked. AKV works for us, we loved it last year and look forward to another week their this fall.

We will be there Oct. 13-17, possibly extending to the 19th. We are staying in a 2-br at SSR. Our party will be DH, DS, DS's DGF, 2 other DS, DGD, and possibly DGS. This will be our DGD's 1st trip to Disney. She is so excited. So are we. We are waitlisted for AKV or BCV. We are not very confident that either waitlist will come thru. SSR is a beautiful resort, we just wanted to try something different. So far we've only stayed at SSR, OKW, and BLT, our home resort.

We are waitlisted at BLT and BWV for Oct 31-Nov 6. Calling daily with no luck. REALLY want to stay at BLT. We have a ressie at SSR (my least favorite) and we will enjoy ourselves no matter what. First year we are doing MNSSHP so would have preferred to be closer to MK. NOticed today that some of the dates were opening up, but all in the middle of our dates. Pixie dust, PLZ

We have a 1br preferred view at BWVs reserved for 10/23-10/30 and are WL for a BW view. Since it uses the same # of pts. MS said they will keep us on the list up to 7 days before we arrive. Have never stayed in a BW view room and since this is an r&r trip for us and we hope to spend more time at the resort, I am keeping my fingers crossed! to all who are patiently waiting!

Check your waitlists! Ours came through today for a Dedicated 2 bedroom at AKL Kidani - October 17th - 22nd. It was not there this morning, refreshed the screen and there it was!

We are waitlisted October 9 - 16th for a 1 BR at either BCV or BWV PV.
We have a 1 BR at SSR which we booked about 6 months out.
I am not very hopeful that our waitlist will come through.

I have a studio booked at BW from Oct 4 thru 7, but I am on the waitlist for BC. I will be dropping one of the days either Oct 4 or Oct 7, pretty soon, just not sure which one. DH needs to sit down with me and help me decide on our plans. We have two nites at HH in a studio on a cash reservation and then 3 or 4 nites at Disney followed by 2 or 3 nite at Key West and then heading back home. I hope someone needs my one day I will be dropping off my reservation at BW.

we have sept 26 thru oct 2 booked at BWV, BW view studio
i called daily at 7 months, and have been waitlisted oct 2 thru 6 since then (we have BWV, pool/garden view)

the good news is that when i called yesterday to check something in my acct, MS noticed that my waitlist was missing a day (they had it starting 10/3rather than 10/2).

of course, i would love to get my beloved BW view, but, no matter what, we'll be lucky enough to be there

That's so funny...our AKV waitlist came through today too! So now we have 3 days at AKV and 4 at SSR. I figure at this point I'll just try to waitlist one day at a time and see what happens. I guess I'll be calling tomorrow to see if any other days are available!

My BWV waitlist for Oct. just came through! We were on the w/l for a studio for 10/9-13 either preferred or boardwalk view & the preferred view came through today.

If anyone is waiting for a studio savannah view at Jambo for those nights this could be your lucky day!

Great news, and there's hope for my waitlist yet. I'm waitlisted for BCV for one night, October 2. Right now I'm reserved at BWV, but since the rest of my trip is reserved for BCV, it would be nice not to have to move. After being waitlisted for 5 months, I was about ready to give up, but now I know not to give up hope!

Needed to add one night 10/31 after we check out of SSR Treehouses. We wanted BC or BW studio, but are waitlisted, we booked a studio at SSR for 10/31 if we don't get Epcot Resort Area.

We are waitlisted 10/21 for a 1 bedroom at VGC. We have the 17th-20th locked in but are really hoping for that last night! We stayed in a studio for 5 nights in July, but got really spoiled with the 1 and 2 bedroom villas.

Have been waitlisted for a 1 BDR at OKW for the night of 10/10 for about two months now. I check in on 10/9 so this may throw a monkey wrench into my plans. Thinking that I may have to cancel off 10/9 and do a cash reservation somewhere else and then check in at OKW on 10/11.

We're waitlisted for BLT MK view studio, 10/3 thru 10/7

Was able to book BLT LV studio at 7 month window, & requsted during same phone call to be waitlisted for MK view at that time...

A few weeks ago, when i called MS to cancel same time-frame rental @ WL i had been holding (hope it made somebody's day!)...found out the waitlist @ BLT was 'missing'. I'll file it under no good deed goes unpunished

now, im back to waiting, least we have 'a' room!

Hubby and I are doing an adults weekend for Food and Wine Oct. 15-17 and were booked at SSR and on a waitlist for BWV.....after seeing this thread I went to the member site and now we are at BWV!!!!

SO EXCITED!!!! We really wanted Boardwalk since it is walking distance to EPCOT!! YIPPEE!!!!
