October 2007!!!!

Count us in for October!!! we are leaving on the 19th, and coming home on the 28th.. Staying at SSR.

We were there the same time 2 years back(couldn't go last year, cause i was pregnant) but were there the week before the hurricane, and then during it. We were in the parks by 2:00 pm. All it really did was cool it down alot. Had to were jeans and a sweatshirt for a few days, and then it got warmer in a few days.

I am hoping that the weather will be great this year! 1st trip for our daughter! Just got her mickey crocs this week!!!!

Don't have dates yet but DH, DD, my parents & I will def be going sometime after Oct 7th (my sister's wedding) - we may even see them as her and fiance are contemplating a Disney Cruise HOneymoon! It will be DD, now 5 mos first trip to the World (unless you count the 2 trips in utero!) :) Most likely will be staying at OKW.

Hello Everyone,
My wife and I will be celebrating our 5th anniversary at the Poly from 10/23-10/30. We were married at Sunset Pointe 10/29/02. This will be our first married trip without our two children, DD(3on 3-5) & DS(3 months 3-3), or family.
Just to let everyone that doesn't already know, the F & WF is INCREDIBLE and not to be missed. We go to EPCOT daily so I can drink and eat. Also, MNSSHP is another not to be missed event.

Hope everyone has a blast planning,
Jay

Timon... do you think the MNSSHP is worth considering for us 'older' folks travelling without children? The extra park hours hold some appeal but I have a vision of wall to wall costumed kiddies and long lines for everything :)

Also a question about the F&W festival... does the festival make travelling around the world showcase more difficult? Meaning will we first timers still be able to appreciate the countries or will the areas be swamped with booths and people sampling? I have no clue on the space and layout as you can tell :) Ideally we'd like to be able to experience both to the fullest.

We don't have kids. We both dressed as silly witches last year at MNSSHP and had a blast. Yes, there were pirate: and princess: EVERYWHERE, but there were lots of adults there without kids too. We saw lots of adult couples. It was a lot of fun and we plan to do it again.

This year, we are dressing as the guys from American Choppers. :moped: Maggie
