Monday 13th October
Up late today after our adventure yesterday. We were going to have a lazy morning at Typhoon Lagoon. I was getting far more adventurous with the waves in the surf pool and rides. We spent some time floating around Castaway Creek I love doing this apart from the bit where you get soaked in the cold water LOL.
We caught the bus back and got off at the Yacht Club so I could pop in and see Di she had got Alan a root beer yuk!! Back to the room and shower and change and then spent the afternoon playing mini golf at the Fantasia course. DH wasnt impressed with the standard of the course he felt like that needed to go into rehab. It was lovely and quiet and we didnt feel rushed at all.
As we walked back to the Boardwalk we stopped by at the Quiet Pool so quiet there were only two people in it.. DH still had his swim shorts in- so he jumped in the pool while I went back up to the room to change and I refilled our mugs and met him back at the pool. We spent an hour or so here before heading back to our room to change for dinner.
I had booked the California Grill as a birthday treat for DH.
Usual routine bus to MK then Monorail to the Contemporary. We were lucky to be given a wonderful window seat :grin: We had for starter Triple Cheese flat bread and Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli followed by for main course Handmade Wild Mushroom-Ricotta Ravioli and Oak Fired Beef Filet then yummy dessert Warm Valrhona Chocolate-Banana Bread Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake yummy food 
When Wishes started they piped the music into the restaurant and we had a wonderful view of the fireworks.
After dinner we got a cab back to the Boardwalk I was so full I couldnt be faffing with the monorail and bus tonight. We also managed to get home in time for CSI.
