Hi, Everyone. It is very hectic coming back to work after being off for about 10 days. But, I. think that I am finally caught up and can get on with the fun stuff of planning.

For all of you who wish to participate in the third FE gift exchange list, please email me your email addresses. Include in the email, you DISname, how any are in your group, ages of children, and your cabin number.

There appear to be about 5 or 6 cabins with about 15 people. This is not the exact total. Once I receive confirmation of those who wish to participate via email addresses, I will be able to give a more firm account.

Also, Oct 5th will be the ABSOLUTE LAST DAY TO JOIN as I will be sending out the FINAL LIST THAT DAY! So, if I don't have your email information my then I won't be able to add you to the list.

My inbox is full right now so, give a few minutes to clear it out.

Brenda, please forgive me for asking what is probably a really stupid question. Where do I find your email address? We want to be on the third FE list....I just have to figure out how to get the info to you.

Amy, I just sent you a PM with my email address.

Look alive, people, we have a CRUISE to be preparing for here!! Any packing must-have's that anyone wants to share?? I carry travel sized hand sanitizer and tissues everywhere. Worst thing ever to get hit with an allergy attack on an island and have nothing but your hands to save you! I also pack at least one spare pair of sunglasses in case mine walk out on me somehow..... And lots of accessories! ;)-

Yes, I carry a "dental 1st aid kit". Don't want to be without a crown, and have to depend on someone else if I can handle it myself.

If you have children in braces, don't forget their floss, wax for sore lips, etc. Those in retainers should have an extra case...DON'T PUT THEM IN A NAPKIN OR TISSUE...who wants to go digging :scared1: in the trash?!

Also never travel without Downy Wrinkle Releaser Spray and a small Yankee air freshener spray.

Joanie

What is a yankee air freshener?

I get them at the Yankee Candle Outlet in our town. Available in some of the same fragrances as the candles, and a nice small size for travel. Usually go for something spicy at this time of year.

Hi, guys! Long time lurker of this thread, first time poster :)

My husband and I have three wee ones together (All girls!), though we will be traveling without 'em for this particular trip. ;) We are finally getting around to our honeymoon with this cruise! :goodvibes It will be my second cruise (My first was the Wonder from Oct. 26th-30th of 2008), and it will be my husband's first.. Yay! We're so excited. :) Our dinner arrangements will be based on second seating. Our stateroom hasn't been determined yet, but it will be a guaranteed verandah :D I had the pleasure of meeting a handful of great people my last cruise, and I'm hoping that this time will be even better!

Hi there!:wave2: welcome aboard! We are in the "home stretch". Many of us will be flying in about 16 days! Are you all staying extra days before or after the cruise? It's Food & Wine Festival time at WDW!:cool1:

Oh I see. I thought you were making a joke.

Thanks! :) We are actually heading in on the 18th on a red-eye flight, then spending the entire Friday on one of the Disney resorts. :goodvibes I feel like coming in the entire day before departure will give us more time to wind down from the big circus we call traveling. ::yes::

The last Disney cruise I took, we flew in the night before- which given, is still less stressful than the day of, but I was totally beat from the flight alone. I crawled straight into bed once we got there and had to drag myself to the Port the next day. Didn't even get to enjoy a good meal or a pool beforehand!:sad1:

Aww, I didn't know about that! :sad1: DH and I are huge Disney nuts, both of our families raised us as such :earboy2: yet we have never actually been to WDW! :faint: This is the closest either of us have ever been to WDW without having actually gone into it!

Might be kind of a bummer, but I wanted to make sure we were resting up a bit first so we could enjoy a lot of the shore excursions (We both are pretty active and love to hike). We'll be sure and relax a bunch, though, too! :beach: besides, we live, breathe and sleep Disneyland so, it's not all bad ;)

Oh yes, a bit of Vero Beach before and F & W following. When we make the drive we like to get the most out of it, and DH works magicpixiedust: getting the most out of our DVC points.

I've been following the 09/22/12 Fantasy thread. They are back now, and lots of posts showing up about folks getting nasty sore throats, etc. Also, one Dad posted that his little girl had stomach issues and they took her to the infirmary. They were charged $110.00 per bottle for Power Aid. I'll be doing lots of hand washing and such!

We'll be driving down to Orlando from Toronto in 14 or 15 days! :drive:
We're hoping to visit Magic Kingdom before the cruise.

A couple of questions. Where is everyone staying the night before?

I've been looking at Best Western in Cocoa Beach as they offer a 40% off parking voucher at Port Canaveral. We prefer to park at the port.

And weather! Maybe its a 'bit' early, but has anyone started looking ahead to see what weather we are looking at for each day?

We did a Carnival Cruise in Jan. 2011 and our weather was terrible for several days! We actually missed 2 ports because of it! Therefore I'm a bit nervous this time around.

Fingers crossed that October brings us awesome weather!
