Thanks for the idea about leaving the magnets on their door myself! I hadn't thought about that. As for the FE, I don't want anyone going to any great lengths having to purchase more stuff or making extras. Maybe just those that want to swap with these 2 new rooms could send us pm messages or your cabin numbers? We have that with our cruise, a few are exchanging with newbies but not everyone. (we already have 51 cabins on our 3 lists plus a few newbies!)

Maybe with the new people in the group wanting to join FE and others who are already in group 1 or 2 and are willing to sign up for another group, that can be arranged? I'm willing to be apart of the third group. I think it would be nice for the 'newcomers' to be apart of FE also, especially if they have kids who want to participate.

After the day we had yesterday, we can't wait to be on the boat in the middle of the ocean with Mickey, leaving all cares behind. But in the mean time we've got to find a new car .

On another note, we've booked excursions with Disney but was curious if anyone has used outside services. We are really just looking to enjoy the beaches. Unless you have other recommendations for family of 4 with 6 & 3 yr old.

Also my DD changed her mind about BBB on pirate night and now wants to go....of course there aren't any openings online. Do you think we would be able to get one once on board?!!?

Our family was all set for spending the fall in Bristol, UK and with a side trip to Disneyland Paris...alas, my husbands' company changed all our best laid plans.
So we regrouped and decided to do WDW with a follow-on of this wonderful cruise.
We are definitely a last minute booking, but we're still hoping to join in on some of this fun, however, I have yet to read the 170 pages of this thread!
We are my husband and myself, our 29 y/o DD and 3 (almost 4) y/o DGS.
Time for me to catch up on my reading!

Just a thought...

Perhaps one of you could take that on if Brenda has a lot on her plate. Lots of new folks checking in here lately, and will probably continue.

You could start keeping a list of those who want to be included in group #3. That way folks wanting to participate are happy, and those with limited time to complete gifts don't feel any stress to add more work, baggage to carry, etc.

Not trying to step on toes, but the sooner you know, the better.

I'm gonna be making more because our friends in another cabin are on the second list and she has asked me to make her gifts since she works so much. Oh well, today I'll be having fun making more stuff! Time to go shopping (bummer)

I know there are others the same age, and some a year or two older/younger in this group. Our DD found no shortage of kids her age to make friends with last year.

Hello, Everyone. I am back. Had a wonderful time at Disneyland and on the first every Pixar and Pacific Coast cruise. I will be willing to answer any questions.

After the cruise Sunday, we went back to Disneyland and spent the day there. I just did not want my vacation to end. But as they say, All good things must come to an end. Don't know why they say that, though.

Anyway, I see that I have some catching-up to do. It also appears at first glance that we have quite a few new folks. So welcome to the new-comers.

As soon as I have a chance to completely catch up, I will add you all to our main page. Just please be sure to provide me with you names, and such.

As far as the FE gift exchange goes, I'm afraid that that closed several weeks ago.

What I can do is for those new comers who wish to participate, is to form another group of just the newcomers. Of course, if any of the other folks wish to be placed on that newcomers list, let me know and I will put you all on that list as well.

Please let me know who all wish to be place on the Newcomers FE list so that I can have it ready by October 5th.

How does that sound?

Does anyone know if the 6 X 8 photos are always vertical?
Are the 6 X 8's the ones with characters?
What are the 8 x 10 's. For formal night, family, no characters?
Should I just get two 6 x 8 's, one vertical and one horizontal?

Hi and welcome back Brenda I like your idea about the new FE list! The info for my kids is: The McDonald Family from Waldorf Maryland (& Cocoa, Florida)....DM is Peggy; DD is Shannon, 23 years old; and DS is Matthew, 17 (but with his autism he is more like 7/8 with his like of movies/toys/etc.). I will find out their cabin number tomorrow to let you know. They don't have a dis name so I suppose you can just let them use mine. If I have time I'll make them a new extender.

A HUGE thank you to all that are willing to go on list 3!! I always enjoy doing this game and think the kids will have fun too.
