Question for all the Beer tasters....
How many bottles should we be bringing for the tasting? Don't want to bring too little/much. TIA

After I asked a couple of days ago 2 more signed up so we are currently at 18.

I was asking about getting some glassware but Rick suggested maybe the smaller plastic cups- like dixie cups size- so we could just pitch them afterwards...and it'd be a "tasting" not a "guzzling".

What do you guys think?

If we go with the small cups I think you'd be able to get 4-5 servings out of a regular sized bottle. (Unless you're pouring for me, then it'd be more like 2 or 3 )

I'm thinking the only other thing we need to avoid is overlapping with anyone's Palomor Remy brunch, so later afternoon should be good. I vote for early on so we can all "bond over beer" and get to know each other a bit early on

well, for what it's worth we have squat planned for Monday; doing Palo brunch around 11AM on Sunday.

We can be pretty flexible around everyone else's schedule but I do think afternoon is probably the best idea.

BTW, fellow drinkers ... in case I forgot to mention it you can buy a drink passport at Skyline that will get you 7 drinks for the price of 6. I've seen some pictures now of the drinks and they look awesome! The passport is a nice keepsake and it includes one drink recipe from each country, too.

BTW, Lori ... I think Rick's idea about disposable cups is a good one. We won't be leaving a mess behind for a CM to clean up and it will be easier for everyone to sample that way.

So excited..just received our documents today I will be reading through everything tonight. Disney cruise documents are classier than other cruise lines we've sailed on...but still not as nice as they use to be...We were on a very early sailing of the Magic many years ago..does anyone else remember the awesome documents they use to send? They must have cost a fortune!! They arrived by Fed Ex...and were little suitcase filled with all the information...
I guess I'm just feeling nostalgic today....but am still excited to have received these

Let's make it as easy as possible. After all the tastings we won't feel like cleaning up, and we don't want to leave a mess for others.

I say definitely, anybody in our group that wants to stop by. The only thing that I can think of that we might have on Sunday or Monday would be Mixology - and we won't know when it's available until we get on board.

One month from today we will be on the ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received 4 passports today.

Applied 9/10 Monday for all four of us, received today 9/21 Friday. Sweeet.

Traveling with friends and their neighbors. They aren't on the boards, but I contacted them, and they're interested in joining the fun.
