Hey, do you all want to have a meet to celebrate all of the different celebrations that are happening during this cruise? We could have like a party of sorts. I thought that would be a fun kind of thing to do.

What say you?

We are celebrating anniversary #44 in November, and another couple in our party are having anniversary #50!

Sounds like a plan.... count us in! What other fun things can we do? I was thinking a "Bar Hopping Night"? Does that make me sound like a lush?

Do you limit Bar Hopping to one night? We could do that. We also love to dance, and play trivia.

Welcome new comers. Newcomers seem to be joining more frequently now. DCL IS filling the ship after all. They must be doing something right.

I can't believe the cruise is only 6 weeks away. For sooo loong it seemed it would never arrive, and now it's around the corner.

I'm now looking over all the details learned from years of Dis lurking. I realize now, for the cruise, you only need yourself, your kids, ID / passports, power strip with USB, kids electronics, body butter, clothes pins, sun lotion, some cash, and you are all set. All the rest of the list is gravy. JMHO

Well, I will be sending out the FE Gift Exchange Lists later this evening or first thing in the morning. I am hoping that the couple of folks that I have not heard from yet, give me their information before then. How be ever, they WILL go out tomorrow.

Hello, Everyone. Just wanted to let you know that I sent the FE lists out to those who I have an email address for. Please check to make sure that all your info is correct. I will add the stateroom numbers for the last couple of folks once they have them.

I was at Target this morning. They have a lot of the Target "Spot" items at the front of the store on sale for 70% off. There are little note books that close that you can jot down things in. There are sticky pad (Lorax),etc. There are also long reminder note pads w/ magnets on the back . A lot of these items would be good (and useful) as FE gifts for anybody that wants something that they don't have to make and the cost is great. And, there are closet shoe holders (6 shelves) that would be useful.

Will any of you be decorating your door? I have some homemade magnets I've used on other sailings, and will bring them along this time as well. Sailed on Halloween 2 years ago, so I do have the right holiday ready to pack.

Yes, we usually decorate our doors. We even change them out sometimes during the course of the cruise.
