We did on several other cruises, and there were lots of couples close to our age-traveling without children/grandchildren who did as well. One of our tablemates had a great parrot he carried. Not sure about this time.

We went on ebay to a costume store and bought great pirate outfits for last Octobers trip, and it felt great to participate, and even the 17 y.o. dressed up and had fun! It's all about the family memories and good times!

This is the last thing on my to do list. If we have time we will get something together, otherwise we will skip it. Just not a huge priority for us but I do love seeing those who do dress up.

Brenda hasn't been on the boards in a month or so, she also hasn't checked into the FB page so I am not sure what is going on. We aren't participating so I don't think it would be appropriate for me to reach out to her but maybe someone who is can send her a Private Message and report back. Just a thought.
