We are traveling with an adults only group too. Some of us have sailed with Disney several times(#6 for us also), some of us DVC owners, and some of us have done ABD together.

Yea!!!!!!! What a great first cruise for him!!! It will be weird cruising without the kids. However, once I have a Midori Colada in my hand at the Sail Away Party, I think the "guilt" will end!!!

Where are you from in Texas? We were just there for memorial day week end, our oldest lives in Austin.

What is everyone planning on and off the ship???

Thanks to being Gold Castaway Club Members now, we are quickly approaching the time when we can book our excursions and Palo reservations (we're skipping Remy this cruise).

If you like Midori (I like it with orange juice.) and you like a Pina Colada, you will LOVE a Midori Colada. It is tropical and really puts me into "vacation mode". We were introduced to them on our first Disney cruise. The bartender gave Bill the recipe.

1 Part Malibu Coconut Rum
2 Part Midori
2 Part Cream of Coconut (can)
4 Part Pineapple Juice
Ice

Throw it all in a blender, mix and enjoy!

We too are gold and are going to try to get palo brunch, The French Rivera beach on st Maarten and the all day sail & snorkle to turtle bay & honeymoon beach.

There are a few new drink classes I would like to try. The champagne tasting and the mixology!!

Yes it was very hot when we were there. It's hot & humid here too but that was hotter!!

Glad you got through them alright. It was crazy here in Richmond. The news showed the exact same storm stretched from MD to the NC line so we were getting hit at the same time. Lost a tree and some siding but luckily kept power. Stay cool, its going to be a bad one.

I'll worry, but I won't feel guilty! haha... He's only one, he'll forgive and forget! This is a lovers cruise!

We're sold on Loterie Farm for St Maarten, but St Thomas is STILL a big question mark!! I'll get fancy with my planning once we're totally paid off!! Time is a tickin on that one!!!

Just to explain, it's a take off of the image on the stern of the Disney Fantasy. I changed the colors and some of the sizing to make it look like water and a setting sun. It's obviously just a hand drawn sketch at the moment, but I'll have it cleaned up and converted into an actual image in the next several days. My Dad is a wizard with that sort of thing, it's his bread and butter. I'm happy to share if anyone wants to use it.

Hi there fellow cruisers! I can't remember if I introduced ourselves here or not, but here goes! My DH and I are first time cruisers, very much looking forward to our cruise. We are from Massachusetts, living in America's Hometown - Plymouth. My DH is retired from the USMC, and now enjoying his second career.
I teach Pre-K, which keeps me young! We are SO excited about ths cruise! We share a photography hobby, and like to go out and shoot just about anywhere!
I am on the Dis constantly, and am learning a lt about cruising. I think I need a twelve step program for the Dis! I look forward to meeting some of you, but am unsure where or when. This thread is a bit intimidating to newbies like us, it seems so many of you know each other from previous cruises. BUT, here I am, jumping in and saying hello! Hope to be meeting some of you!?

I can't believe it has taken me this long to start research and getting excited for this trip. Normally, I am already ahead of the game with our stateroom door signs made and transfers made. I need to get working!

This will be our sixth Disney cruise. FINALLY, we get our new Gold lanyards. We've sailed on the Wonder, Magic & Dream. This will be our first time on the Fantasy. We did this same itinerary on the Magic a few years back. It will be nice to re-visit the ports and do adult excursions. Last time, we focused our excursions more towards what the kids would like. (Butterfly Farm & Coral World) This time, we're doing what WE want to do!

We're traveling with some great friends from the DIS and some Ex-DIS friends. I warn y'all, it will be a rowdy bunch!!!

Welcome new comers scrappingran and TxTaylors5 - Jennifer - this is my 40th birthday cruise as well - just turned Friday June 29 - it's not so bad, but then again, it's only been a few days! We picked the October dates so the kids would not miss as much school with having a few days off that week and it was less expensive then summer! This is our first Disney cruise and first with the kids. We have sailed RC many times without kiddos.

Renysmom - I am sending you a PM with a question about your Canon G9 - hope that's ok!
