I went on a 3 night back in 2009 and LOVED the karaoke!!! I CAN'T SING, but I like to try lol. The next day everybody at Castaway Cay kept asking me if I was gonna do it again that night LOL

Greetings! My husband and I booked this cruise in October while we were on the Dream. We've sailed this itinerary before on the Magic but loved it so much that we wanted to try it again on a new ship.

I'm Brenda and he's Jason ... just the two of us; we're DINKS who love food and booze. Probably won't take part in any exchanges but always happy to meet up for a quick drink or hello with fellow DISers.

We're also sailing for my birthday, which is the 17th. I'm lucky that way!

BTW, for what it's worth we are in late dining. I know we will head to Remy for at least one night and probably Palo for another ... Remy was amazing on the Dream so we have to give it a go on the Fantasy!

oh thanks for the tip - was wondering about the other restaurants. I am sure we will try Remy & go back to Palo....we also have late dining - my hubby won't sail, so this may be a "girls" trip....as DS will be in his sr year at college so don't want him to miss a whole week...

Hi Joanne! I thought your user name looked familiar. Yes, we do know some mutual DISers from the Bob crowd. Looking forward to getting a chance to "know" some new, equally fabulous DISers here!

Thanks for sharing that it was a very interesting read. I was curious about what the food at Remy would be like.

I hope it helped a little. Remy is similar in some ways to Victoria & Albert's if you've ever had a chance to dine there. Definitely more upscale than Palo and a more French take on dining, but well worth the cost if you like that kind of dining experience.

Hi all. Wanted to throw my hat in the ring for the October 20 Fantasy cruise. DH & I have done 4 (3 & 4 day cruises). This will be our 5th and first longer cruise. We are cruising with our adult daughter, who will be graduating with her Masters Degree in Entomology in August 2012. I hesitated to join the list because everytime I do, something comes up and we have to cancel for some reason -- but, I am going to sprinkle this with Pixie Dust and hope for the best.

Hi, Steph, and welcome to you and your whole crew!!! It looks like you will have a group to rival ours. Our group keeps changing, though. I don't know who all will finally end up coming with us, but it will still be a blast.

Nice to meet you. I'm really hoping we get a chance to meet everyone. Our last cruise was a 3 day, and we only met like 3 families from the meet thread.

I think Sunshine Brenda and a couple of others will have 1/2 the dining room, so we're sure to see them at least once

This is too funny, but probably true!!! However, we have main seating, so we may only take up 1/3 of the dining room.

Some of you already know, but for those who dont ,Robin and i wont be able to make this cruise after all. I had more trouble on our Oct cruise (healthwise) than i thought i would, so we're taking a little time off cruising. For now we're going to keep our feet on land and stay with the Disney parks.

We have booked a Disney Fantasy for later 2013 and hope we'll be able to make that one. Time will tell.

I'll continue to lurk around here and follow your adventures. Have a great cruise! We'll be thinking of you for sure!!

We will sure miss you both. Hopefully, we will see you on another sailing.

Okay, so why I have been away for so long is that I have been extremely busy at work and my laptop was just returned after being in the shop for over a month.

Anyway, during that time I went to Disneyland for my birthday which is just a few days before Christmas. Wow, talk about your magical times?!!! I had never been to Disneyland during Christmas time because of the crowds, but I decided that if I was ever going to go to Disneyland on my birthday, I would just have to bite the bullet. I am so glad that I did. I will post a list of what all we accomplished in three days time in a later post. Just suffice it to say, that with great planning you can do alot.

After that, my mom and niece were waiting for us at our house when we arrived back home. They spent the next two and half weeks with us. That was very nice.

And since then, I have been planning other cruises and Disney vacations. I am going a Royal Caribbean cruise in April with a friend. Please pray for me. She is so looking forward to checking out the Allure. I would just as soon be going on the Wonder myself, but that's just me.
