October 2 & 6, 2011 B2B Dream Cruising

Is there a lot of first time cruisers on this trip? Wow, pretty much everything is open, so we got what we wanted. I still didn't get online until just a few minutes ago trying to get the jet skis ready for our trip and got lucky.

Not a lot of posts regarding the 90 day mark, so there might not be too many Disers on this cruise.

We are doing Atlantis aqua thing with Palo ressies at night and Stingray at CC. Can't believe the cabanas are almost booked! Yikes, that's a pretty penny for a beach shade. LOL

Finally was able to select our port arrival time, we got 11-11:30, YAY It's wierd because I was able to go into my reservation and do the online check in, but it wouldn't let me go into my DH's ressie (we have two cabins) to do his online check in. I kept getting the error message that our number of linked cabins has exceeded maximum limits so we can not see the other reservations. It let me go in and get Palo ressies though.

Just finished our cruise documents and selected Noon as our port time. I can sleep in on Sunday, eat breakfast, head to the port and drop off the rental car before meeting up with our party at the port! Woohoo! I'm getting excited for the cruise.

Now to do it all over again for the 2nd part of the B2B!

We wont be booking Palo for the three day (unless they have brunch on the 3 day, which I don't think they do ) and we don't have to select a port arrival time for that cruise, so I think we are done. Although I will have to keep checking back to see if any brunch reservations open up for the 4 day.

They had brunch with parties of 5 or 6, so we will be checking back too. If they don't open up it's not a big loss for us. Tea was long gone....all those Gold and Platinum CC members!

Not sure what we'll do on the 3 day as far as excursions, but thinking not to much. We're doing the Atlantis on the 4 night and that should be good enough for Nassua. If we want to go to the casino on the 3 day that is fine or staying on the ship is just as good for me. More Aquaduck time!

Keep watching online. They only allow a percentage of the excursions, Palo ressies, etc., to be booked online. You will still have a chance to book once you get onboard, just have to be quick! We will find out where you need to go before you get on the ship and you just go as soon as you board.

We now have Palo brunch for day 4 at 10am and Palo Dinner for day 4 at 8:30. I think I will be rolling into bed that night....

Still no brunch available for party of 2 and now only for 5-6. I will keep checking back every day to see if something opens up. Getting ready to book the 2nd half of the trip tomorrow night. At least I'll be more prepared. LOL

We're reserved for palo on the 3 night and missed out on the cabana a the adult beach. If anyone has a reservation for cabana on the adult beach and going to cancel please let me know. I'd like to get one and will keep checking back to see if one opens up.

Well, we have switched up some of our plans, we will now be doing Palo dinner on the 1st night of the 3 day instead of the last night of the 4day. I figured Palo twice in one day might be a bit much on the digestive system.
Firstcruise, I've been checking for adult cabanas everytime I go into our reservations and I haven't seen anything come up yet....I will let you know if I do.

Thanks! We just got back from our lake vacation and now it officially on the radar for the B2B cruise in October! First had to head to Orlando for work and then back home to prepare for the cruise.

BTW, I just looked and no cabana is available. Guessing that we'll be SOL, but if one does come up please post. I'd really like to get one, but it won't be the end of the world if we don't.

Hey BigRed1! Not too much activity around here. I am beyond excited... My group had decided not to do a FE exchange this time because we spent so much time delivering on our last cruise and we only have 1 sea day, very large ship, etc etc...I know, party poopers. I know the individual sialings are doing FE's and last I read the groups are pretty small. I'm sure you would be able to join in one or both of those. We are still bringing our FE and putting little things in it for the kids.
Just confirmed all of our reservations, hotel night we land, hotel night before cruise and rental car both ways. Now we just have to cross our fingers that we get on the flights we will be trying for, (we have to fly stand by). I will be spending the next 2 months and 4 days going crazy waiting for time to pass, but it will be here before we know it!

It won't hurt my feelings to not do an FE, less stuff to have to haul around! See the green Mickey in my siggy? Everyone would have gotten one of those on their doors (with your disname of course) However, since we are not doing an FE, I will do this.... I will create a jpeg version for anyone who wants to print one out for themselves. It will be the size of a half sheet of paper and I would usually print them on magnetic paper. Anyone want one?

We have about an 800 mile drive so we will do about half Friday night, and come on to PC Saturday. Depending on what time we get to Orlando, might be time for lunch @ Margaritaville!! Conch Fritters, a Cheeseburger in Paradise, a cold draft beer, Landshark of course! That's when my vacation starts!! If the 2013 dates are not out by then, you can always book a dummy date and move it later.
