We are up to page 5 now...I guess we will have to just keep this thread going until the rest of the Disers get ready to join in. 7 months isn't that far off considering all that is required to get ready.

On a side note, can't book any flights until the 6 month mark, so still a month to go before thinking about that. Got the room reserved at AKL, car rental will be done this weekend and then airfare to/from and ADRs.

We have our rental car reserved both ways, hotel at the airport the night we get in (around midnite) and residence inn night before the cruise. We don't have to book flights because I still get free airfare through United, but we have to fly standby, so we do have to hope we get on, which is why we fly out two days in advance.

It is currently scheduled for the first 2 weeks of October. They seem to be making good progress with construction despite the snow and freezing temps. Not sure when the final decision will be made. Hopefully by the time we have make final payment!

No, no snow here. The kids were very disappointed. They do this to us every couple of years. Get everyone all excited saying it's going to snow and then....nothing! It was COLD though. It got down in the 30's.

BigRed1, I hope they keep your fall break the same! Our kids have it the first week of October, they just started doing fall break in 2008 and I LOVE it! Its the perfect time for a cruise and since I have one in high school it's almost impossible to take them out of school anymore. We used to when she was younger, but it's nice that now they only miss one day for travel.

Hello to all! I figured after not posting for almost a year I should get back on and say hi. I am part of the group with dismom73 and the great cornholeo. ( Laura - you need to get your mom on here) It's me, DH and DD11 (dismom73 DD11 bff). I have 13 other friends and family sailing with us on the 4 day...they're going to be sad getting off the ship on Thursday

Progress so far...WDW pre cruise trip booked and paid for, rental car reserved, Residence Inn night before cruise booked, airfare from Cal to Florida booked (waiting for SW to open up flights for October)...now just need to get the cruise paid off.

Well BigRed1, it looks like I spoke too soon about our fall break...we lost it. They just posted the school calender for next year and after having it the same week for 3 years in a row they moved it....to FEBRUARY! After looking at all of our options, pricing and sceduling and vacation time, we decided to keep our B2B booked for October. The kids are going to miss school. It would cost us around $2000 to switch weeks and my DH already has vacation lined up, so we are still with you.

If we were still going on the MR, we would be on the way to LA right now. I'm kinda glad we are not on the way to LA. COME ON OCTOBER!!!!!

Actually, 14th & 15th but our first ever B2B! We've seen Nassau so many times we probably won't even get off of the ship there. But 2 days at CC is nice! It will be strange not to know our way around the ship as usual but after 7 days we should have it all figured out. Congrats on hitting your Gold status. We were already platinum when they started the 3 tier program so never experienced silver or gold. BTW, We have met Disney cruisers with over 60 cruises! DCL should have a titanium class for them!
