Yes everyone...I did ask Robin to come back and cruise with us, however I did offer her candy, but she said I had to send her gifts to come back! So I made her a set of coasters like Terri made us in October, except I used pics of Robin's family. I am sure she will blackmail me for the next yr if I want her to stay. Oh the things I do for friends I luv!! Do u guys even want her to stay? Cause if not that would save me from having to send her gifts

I hope everyone had a good monday. Me--ok, I have alot of decission making to do. I work for a doc office now for the last yr, before this I was a stay at home mom for 9 yrs. Well I find this job interfees with my girls and our time together. So I might go work for a friend that owns a Qdoba. and I am trying to get a child to do home daycare for. I just wanna be home for my kids in the summer and I can't keep up with house like I want to....OMG I miss being home! Ok so that is how my day is...how about urs?

Ok Mousketeers----I am not sure if you all have done the FE or SM before but I am trying to keep a tally of who is doing either or both. For those who don't know the SM = Secret Mickey. Sorta like secret santa. About a month out from the cruise I will stick all your names in a hat, draw names for each person and U will buy for that family for your secret Mickey. Last yr I let my kids draw some names, it was a fun beginning to the vacation. So anyhow...if you are intesrested in either, please let me know, as well as your dining(main / late) For the website all I need is Dis name

kids names & ages(what they will be in 2011)
Fe--yes/no
SM- yes/no

I am not on your sailing, I am on the 1st Mexican Riviera sailing in 2011 - 1/23! We've been trying to figure out how to create a logo for ourselves, but we don't have any graphic designers or anyone who knows how. Can I ask how you made this logo?!? Can you help me make one for us, or tell me how I can make one for us?!?

I went on the Dis creative threads and aski Millipie to come up with something....I told her I want mexican characters and told her our thread name of Mexican Mousketeers so she incorporated that! Check out DIs folks, we have A LOT of creative ones! Just NO taking our pic...LOL

Hey everyone----I have changed the website a little...made the family pics smaller so they load up better. I have all the Dreamers pics on there.....if you have a different photo u want up just PM it to me.......any of the newbies if you would like to be part of the getting to know you better web page--PM me a photo and I will add you. I am sooo looking forward to this cruise!! Hope it comes soon. Anyone have any info that is useful let me know to and I can add it to the info page to help everyone out...hotel suggestions, rental car or shuttles, etc I have found there doesn't seem to be rental car agencies & hotels like Port canaveral has......if anyone knows a rental car place CLOSE to port that will shuttle you over free let me know! Well off to work( one of my last --I put in my 2 weeks notice monday) U dreamers know I was a stay at home mom till last July--and over this yr have found it is best for me to be home with my girls in the summer...maybe a nt job or daycare in the fall...we shall see!! TTFN

I am finally catching up. It is coming up to the end of the quarter at work and that is always silly busy. I also have a little issue with the cruise meet thread for my Transatlantic cruise, which is becoming a full time job just to keep up with. It took us less than a month to fill a thread up.

I am still here. It has been awhile since I posted because I wasnt sure if we were going to do this cruise or not. Everyone was enticed by the Dream and it did sound like a beautiful ship, but we were leaning more towards Royal Caribbean (less expensive).

Well, as all you dreamers know....Michelle can be quite persuasive and she told me she would give me candy if I came back....so here I am!!!!

Anyhoot, it will be fun sailing with everyone again and I can't wait to see you all!!!!

I have been working on crafting my adult gifts. Have 16 done so far. I figure I will get 20 done and then after xmas work on more if I need them. I still have supplies left from our Dreamers cruise so I can always make some of those for people too just not the Dreamers! I am toying with my kids gift. I was gonna make something similar to U Corinna but differrent(if that makes any sense...LOL) but since I am back cruising with ya I have to think about it. Since you don't have kids I may PM ya and bounce some ideas off ya! U are so dang creative!! =))) Well I will talk to you all later....hope the cruisers on here climb outta the woodowrk and chat....cruising together is more fun when we have this yr to get to know each other! Aww Robin you will think of something...just put your thinking cap on!! I just found an idea and went with it. i thought I better make some in case this thread let's loose & goes nuts! I figure we had about 45 staterooms last cruise so I thought I would get 1/2 made in case we had that many! Plus I get excited doing planning for our cruise! Is anyone out there besides Robin, Corinna and I?? I can't wait till this thread explodes with conversation....makes it seem like the time goes better if I can talk Disney!! Well it's been a long day...one DD to dance for 3 hrs, other DD to soccer for 2 hrs, then DD-SYd back to dance for 3 hrs....I guess that's what competition gets us! one busy day! Off to run Syd some dinner for her break at dance practice...TTFN

Hi, I have been racking my brain for gift ideas too. As we are traveling first to DL, I am thinking gifts will be per cabin. I hope this is ok with you all. I am really looking forward to our cruise and meeting you all. My eldest DD is starting to get interested in the whole idea of FE's too! I can't believe my daugther had some good ideas for the FE's. Made my job s little easier.

Becky-----last cruise was my first cruise to do the FE out of 3 cruises and my kids(9&5 at the time) loved coming back to find whatever... I personally have found my crafty side by doing the FE. I have found some ideas from others and then modified them to my version. I have made some of the best friends on here....only problem is they live in New York, Alabama, TN, and UK....sheesh! But it is nice to chat and share in each others lives only from a distance! It's even nicer that our kids will go back on the cruise and be like "hey it's you" to each others kids...LOL nothing like cruising with a group of friends!

Michelle-- this will be our second cruise (we weren't going to get the chance to go back). I learnt lots about DCL while onboard so this time i thought what a great way to enjoy cruising even more than I already do. Hannah will turn 6 on the second day of the cruise so I now don't feel like she missed out. See Maddie turned 6 on our first cruise and she enjoyed it. I am looking forward to doing a FE as there are so many talented people on DCL. These boards have been the best thing out. I can't wait to catch up and have a drink with you. I think it would be great to know other people not only in the States but from the UK. I have family in Alaska and Minnesota and it's Disney that has brought me back to the States after 30 years. My daughters keep thinking that they will meet my family this time but explaining where Alaska and Minnesota are doesn't help.....at least not yet anyway.

Becky~My daughter's birthdays are on the 2nd of October. I ordered the birthday celebration from Disney on the last cruise, so I think I will do it again. The girls enjoyed going to the cabin and having it all deck out in Disney Birthday stuff.. Birthdays are the best!!! Party in my room after the lifeboat drill!!!!

Carol~Thank you soooo much for the offer to join you at the Atlanta Braves game!! Wish I could have made it. That would have been fun!!!! Next time for sure

Boy, you are organized. I have not even given any thought what I might be doing for our group. Actually, this is not quite correct. I have some ideas, but they are not homemade stuff. I will start to think about that when I get back from my next cruise. I am always struggling to come up with something initially, but once I have an idea, I get 10 more.

Feel free to bounce ideas off me.

One of our table mates from our Med cruise works for the Port of Los Angeles. I will see if she can help me out with information on rental cars, shuttles and hotels.
