Barb did you figure it out? Maybe I need to come down there and show you how to do it!!! Then you would be the first of the group I actually met in person!!! I am dying to meet atleast one of you gals, all in due time I am sure.

Well my friend will make it to Florida today. The place she is moving into only had tree damage from Frances. I just hope Ivan doesn't hit Florida, or Castaway Cay!!! Her and her son have been sick through the whole drive there and she figured it out that it was the motion sickness patch.
I didn't realize those could get you sick to your stomach.

Yea one more day until Friday. Today is my day to meet with an old coworker and play with her horses. I am so excited, I haven't been on a horse in atleast 5 years!!!!!

Took Dodgie to the park & then decided to wash my bedding, turn the mattress, etc. so I am stuck in the house for awhile. The CSI marathon on Spike TV is keeping me company.

Only nine more days until Joyce's daughter's wedding. Her daughter Lesley is such a sweet girl & her Irish fiancee seems just as nice.

Heidi, have fun tonight but be careful. At least Mychelle is a riding instructor! Sorry but once a mom, always a mom.

Jeanne, I am impressed with you turning your mattress alone. Last time I dealt with a mattress by myself I messed up my middle finger. It was very painful and took forever to heal. I spent a whole summer giving everyone the "finger". Sure made for a lot of comments!

Just read that CC sustained little damage. Yahoo! And that the adult beach got more sand from it. Port Canaveral needs to be drudged. Ron Jon's got water damaged and is closed They hope to be up and running by next Thursday. Let's just hope and pray that Ivan doesn't do more damage!

Jeanne, it is funny that you brought up Joyce's daughters wedding. I was just thinking about it. They have to be terribly busy.

Ok Barb, I was just thinking on how to get you that ribbon. Click on the last link that Heidi provided and it will lead you to a large ribbon or a small ribbon. Highlight the whole img thing to the one you want. Then hit CTRL C. Bring up your signature and where you want it hit CTRL V. You should have the link there. Next hit save changes and it should be ready to go. Did that make sense?

I read on the Disney news today that the Magic and Wonder are departing and arriving at Port Everglades near Fort Lauderdale until further notice......has anyone else heard this?

It is true. Some of the passengers are grumbling about
the additional 200 miles they have to travel.
I don't think it will be long until they are back at their port.

Sally - I have read and heard the same thing about the Magic and the Wonder. I think it is only temporary until they get Port Canaveral drudged out.

Barb - do you know how to get to your signature? If not, go to User CP at the top of the Disboards. You can find your profile there and look for where it says signature. Then follow exactly what my mom wrote.

YEA popcorn!!! Too bad I had a lean cuisine w/ pasta today!!! Oh well, I could never pass up popcorn.

Still another hurricane coming....

I am getting REALLY nervous We are not renting a car & have no idea how we will get from Orlando to Port Everglades - 200 miles!!!!!!!!!! Those workers need to work fast & get Port Canaveral back in shape so we can sail away.

Went in for a staff meeting today & talked to Joyce. She lost her "datebook" & is worried that the thieves may have it & will know when she works & no one will be home. Told her that I ratted her out & informed everyone that she is a "lurker".

Yes, I am totally nervous. Key West has already started to evacuate. I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't get to visit there but I am very nervous about how to get to the port , where to stay etc . And to think that we extended our stay by a day. If anything we all could stay at the Hyatt or something and wait for Bonnie and Heidi. We could all pitch in and rent a van or something and drive to the port. Didn't know it was 200 miles away. Wow! Hopefully, Ivan won't touch the port and they get it dredged out by then. All of us can stick together and find a way for ALL of us. to get there.

Yes Sally, I had heard, too, about the Ft. Lauderdale port. Hate to hear about grumbling passengers. It was mother natures fault. Definitely NOT Disney's! They need to stop and reflect about what the Floridians have lost and be thankful that they can still cruise.

We are still leaving for St. Thomas on Oct.7-18, pray for no new tropical "disturbance".

I really do miss you all and think about you often, it has just not been a posting kind-of time.

Posting from our new house. Jerry has the puter up and running. The rain stopped by this morning so didn't have to move in the rain.

Hi Joyce! What church is the wedding in and what time is it? I would like to stop by and see you all dressed up. Jeanne I guess you will have to answer this one for me.

I will be renting a car to get to Ron Jon's on Friday which means I will have it Saturday to get us to whatever port the ship leaves from. I just need to know prior to making ressies where it will be returned. Of course my flight is earlier than everyone elses on the return trip...this could be a major problem! I would hope that Disney notifies all way ahead of time that the port is changed. They have to realize people have airline reservations etc.

It's been a busy couple of days.

Woke up Wed. morning to a tornado warning in our area. Luckily, after 45 stressful minutes, it passed through without touching down. Although there had been several others in the previous 24 hrs. that did touch down around the area. Frances is now gone and our weather has changed to beautiful blue skies. Didn't get to post Wed. evening becasue Turner had hockey practice.

Yesterday I left the house arund 7:00am. Worked until 6:30 and then headed to school for PTO. I got home at 9:00 last night and too tired to get onnthe computer. I went straight to bed. I can't believe it is morning already. At lest it is FRIDAY!!!

I am praying for IVAN to miraculously weaken or break down before it gets to the states. We have had enough and you guys don't need anymore worry about your cruise either.

Good morning everyone, so glad it is Friday!!!

Yesterday I had so much fun. Got to ride a horse named Nickel and never had so much fun working so hard. Today my legs are a little sore!! My friend taught me everything about how to take care of a horse. I always wanted a horse, but now realize how much work they truly are. I think I will stick to riding my friends and not have my own!!

I want all the hurricanes to stop, we have had enough!!! My boyfriend's family was moving back home and got half-way and were to evacuate again and had to go back to Georgia. My friend that moved to FL just made it in yesterday...haven't heard anything from her yet. She is supose to move in to her apartment today.

Last weekend camping for us, gotta clean up the 5th wheel. Have a good weekend.

I seemed to have caught Bob and Tiffany's cold and sore throat.
I am wishing I were home under a blanket with some hot tea.

This weekend we are meeting Michelle's parents. (Jason's girlfriend) Her Mom emailed me yesterday she likes to be called Pixie. Guess she can't be all bad! I am having a birthday barbecue for Jason on Sunday. Should be interesting. What if she doesn't like me

We leave for Disney on month from today!!! Yippeeeee!!
