Good morning everyone.

It was a very busy day yesterday. The roofers were to start somewhere between 7 and 9 and we found out at 10 that they weren't even going to come AFTER WE called THEM. What a pain. Supposedly, they are to do it tomorrow. Cross your fingers as I want it done and over with. Ted even took off a couple of hours yesterday waiting to talk to them. They sent a salesman out to find out our concerns after we called them so hopefully Ted won't have to take tomorrow off. Lori, hope that hail yesterday won't cause all this for YOU!!!! We just got huge raindrops and rain.

Barb, way to go. What wonderful prices on those dresses. Our girls spent about 100.00 on theirs. How sweet of you to remember us on MIssy's day!

Bonnie, how's that harp coming along? We expect a concert soon!

Susan, have a great time. Wish all of us could have a girls weekend and meet at a beach!

Julie, we would love a laptop as well. Don't see it coming tho. Oh well. Big Brother........can't these people get it straight from the other shows???????????? Vote off the strong guys first, duh!!! Thanks for reminding me to set my timer on the TV for it. We are bringing down the trailer. We are ATTEMPTING to camp this weekend.

Denine, it has been a very wet summer with very mild temps for us. I feel lucky!! Wait till you see me on the Panama Canal cruise. The temps will have me sooooo sick.

Lori - unfortunately the hail caught up to me too. The hail was pretty small so hopefully my car is okay!!! My cold is still hanging around, I just can't get rid of it. I don't want to go to the doctor for a stupid cold, so I am popping Dayquil and Nyquil like crazy. Stupid stuips cold!!!

Susan - please share your sun with the rest of us. Did you say beach day? If only I had a plane ticket!!!

Okay mom tell them the truth, Dad took more than a couple of hours off. I can't wait to attempt to go camping this weekend!! See you tomorrow unless I get to feeling pretty bad and I am going to take sick leave and go home.

Julie - what is up with these people in the Big Brother house? I don't want Adria/Natalie to go. I was wanting to see both of them in the house together. Get rid of Scott and Jase!! I was hoping Drew was actually going to leave the "4 horsemen" and get on Diane's side.

Did anyone watch Amish in the City last night? I actually did waiting for the Simple Life to come one and it was the craziest show I have seen. My best friend even called me to watch it and she is so against Reality Show TV. We will definitely have fun making fun of these participants for awhile.

Hi guys,

I feel like a new woman. I put Graci in our bed for the first time for her nap and now have the computer free during naps. I kept her bed in there. She did pretty good. I enticed her with a Hello Kitty blanket and pillow. She was sooo cute. "thank you Sandy, thank you Sandy". She cried a bit but did very very good.

Heidi, check your email. I got a wonderful price from Frontier for you.

Got the estimate back from the truck alone and it was 1838.00 worth of damage. Now for the 5th wheel.

Yea Barb, what IS Missy's colors? Have YOU found a dress yet?

Hi All! Just checking in to say hi! Nothing going on here. Not feeling real good today, I felt alittle dizzy all day. I did manage to mow the lawn and go to the store. Have to make an appointment for Garry. His left ankle is swollen and we don't know why. He says it hurts, but he can walk on it. He doesn't remember twisting it. He says it almost feels like shin splints. All you nurses out there, can you get those in your ankles? I have to make an appointment for the foot doctor for him.

Ohhh, Gary won a BID for a laptop. I get it now. (should have got it before, considering it was ebay) I was thinking he entered a drawing on their website and won it for free! Still great to hear about the great price.

Oh I love this higher speed. I can watch the news so fast and just see the articles I want and no commercials. Wow, the 20th century is cool. I should have jumped on sooner.

Oh, gotta tell you the coup Ben pulled. His old beater of a work car (Honda CRX Si) was about to fall to a pile of rust, so he bought a better car, a used Honda Civic from a guy at work for $500. Now he has back seats too, so we can carry kids in all three cars! Anyway, he just sold the old CRX for $800. What a horse trader. Man, it's going to cost $360 less a year in insurance, gets almost as good of gas mileage, and is in much better condition than the old one. Amazing.

1-1/2 weeks in Chicago for the new bathroom. At the same time painting I hope...anyone want to come help paint ceilings?

I can play Yankee Doodle, Twinkle Twinkle and GO tell Aunt ROdi on the harp so far. It was funny last night. I was on the phone and one of the larger strings broke and popped! THe cat went running! The heat and humidity gets to them. I will have to order more strings I guess. I have a bunch but of course I don't have that one!

Julie-shin spints are only in the shin...maybe he sprained it? Or got bit by something?

Yea, its friday. I can't wait to go down to the campground for the weekend!!! Nothing but sitting around, relaxing and goofing off with my parents!!

Mom - Did you get the chance to talk to Stacey and have her tell you the good....I mean bad news? I guess it makes up for you ditching me when I had to go to Naomi's christmas party with dad!!! I tried calling you last night, can you still not here your new phones yet? Charge them up because I can't wait to play with them tonight!!!

Hey Heidi, Ha, ha. The bad/good news is the same as mine!!! The phone is charged already. It uses the same charger as our old one. Yea!! We have to figure out how to send pics to email addresses. That will be your job.

Bonnie, have fun in Chicago. Nope, we can't paint ceilings. Just trying to roof this house has been a major pain. They were to come Wed then a no show. Then we were told 8 this morning. It is now 10:30 and still a no show. The county inspector has come by looking for them and our insurance man called them. I am sick of it.

Julie, sounds like you had a yucky day. Hope both you and Garry are doing better.

Lori, why am I not surprised that Ben got such a good deal??? He just has that in him! High speed? Man, am I ever jealous.

What do I do with my Friday nights? Have dinner at Philly International....wander the shops, hang out at the gate then go home!!!

OK...I took the deal again. They asked for volunteers since they were overbooked. I fly out this morning at 7:45 AM first class again and I have another round trip voucher. I will have to continue to book this late night flight so I can keep getting bumped!!!!

OK...gonna go have my coffee and get dressed. Pam taking me to the airport...again!

I will take and send pictures of the new bathroom in a week and a half.

I'm back. I couldn't post on Thursday and I worked yesterday.

They poured our driveway and delivered all the cabinetry. I can't wait!

We oredered new appliances. We are getting the Maytag Neptune washer and dryer and the Maytag wide by side fridge. Everything was on sale!

Went to the pool for the first time ALL summer. Joyce & I were supposed to go to a Disney Meet in KOP but Joyce hurt her back while lifting a box of books & is practically bedridden!

Happy Sunday!

I hope Joyce is feeling better.

We got a lot of packing done yesterday. I am tired. There is still so much to do!

We weren't able to get together with Julie because Garry got called into work. Hopefully Julie is bringing the kids over Wednesday afternoon.

The nice thing about where we are moving is sweet corn available on just about every corner! We went out this morning and bought a dozen ears, some fresh peaches, strawberries and a tomato. We cooked out hamburgers, ate yummy corn and I made a blueberry peach crsip. The corn festival is in a couple of weeks.

Nothing else going on.

Hi guys, had a terrific Saturday. Now back to reality and cleaning this place up. They finished the roof while we were gone and now I have to put the pictures up around the house that the roofers made me take down and also, reload my curio cabinet that they had me clear out. Both were in vain. It wasn't THAT intense. Oh well, I can dust everything.

Jeanne, I am soooo sorry about Joyce. Give Joyce our love. I will try and call you again. Verizon said that your number has been changed and so I couldn't get through on your cell. That is why I left a message on your home phone.

Bonnie, you sure have a knack for getting bumped!! Way to go!!

I tried calling all of you yesterday but no one was home (or willing to talk to me). Actually, I tried anyone who I pre programmed into my cell for the WDW Christmas. I better put in all of your numbers so I can BUG EVERYONE. Guess it is getting close to a wine chat time.

Denine, I wish it was that easy for me to get all those fresh fruit and veggies. I love fresh corn and tomatoes. I put sugar on my tomatoes and I am in 7th heaven.

I am going to send an email to you guys with Heidi's picture so you all can visualize who she is. We took it on our cell phone. I THINK that I can forward it to you anyway.

Just a pop in to say HI. Nothing going on around here. On call this weekend and getting called in at nice conveinient times of day. That's the best. Good money but not pulled away from anything important...like sleep! Worked 14 1/2 hours Fri, 8 yesterday and 6 today. I hate not getting called at all since I reserved the day to be free 'in case', so it's a waste of a day to not be called at all.

Sorry to hear about Joyce's back. That's got to be SO horrible. Jeanne, please send here my (our) best wishes.

I'm back from the girls' weekend at the beach. Had a great time even with on and off showers. There was a tropical depression off the coast! We got there Thursday night and just missed Big Brother! We had to go down to start asking complete strangers Friday morning who had been evicted. SOOooooo glad it was Holly! Could't handle any more of her.

We went to get pedicures Friday early afternoon. My friend Bernadine is having a baby the first week of October and she has some really bad swelling feet. This was Denise's and my treat to her. She really enjoyed it and the guy who did her pedicure took his time and spent a lot of time rubbing her feet and lower legs.

We went to see the Village Friday night. I thought it was good but I figured it out a little over half way into it.

Saturday evening we went to dinner and took our dessert to go so we could eat it while watching Big Brother. I guess you could say we are a little addicted to it. We want to see Natalie and Adria in the house together. Looks like that just might happen.

Well, I gotta go dry my hair and head out to work.

Man, am I ever in trouble. Heidi is sooooo mad at me about sending the picture. I will have to take a SMILING picture and send it. Jeez, Heidi. Get over it! And then I was just adding a little light to a "sticky" situation yesterday and she's mad over that too. She was using some honey at a restaurant, Armadillo for you CO people, and the lid popped off. Honey was all over her hands and plate so I called our waiter over who we have befriended. Well, we all got to laughing. Lighten up Heidi!

Susan, even though those storms moved through, it sounds like you had a good weekend. I have never had a pedicure. Not sure if I could take someone touching my feet. I am a little ticklish there. Ok, a lot ticklish. I was very happy over Big Brother also. I couldn't take Holly anymore. I can't wait to see the Natalie/Adria situation broken to the rest of the house. Do you think Jase will leave?

Lori, good gravy. Working enough???? After summer is over, you know we have to meet up for 3 Margaritas. Hey, do you ever have a Friday open? Maybe Heidi could come too.
