Sandy is better today. They weather must have played a factor in my funk.

Another cold and wet day. I believe the high is to be 68. In June?? We go on our 2 week vacation in a week and wouldn't mind it to be cool as the air conditioner on the 5th wheel took a beating from the hail and we have to cover it with plastic. Therefore, we can't use it until the insurance co gets out here to check it.

Gotta run. Laundry is calling my name.

Mom you are too funny...weather played a part in your funk but you are better today, the weather looks just the same as it did yesterday!!! I think I have mostly gotten over the shock about Bryan (well atleast I slept last night, even though I had a dream about him!!)

Thanks for the input Bonnie. Chris told her he would give her $50 and I started a thread about it on the CB and some other people said they would do $50 but then there was 2 people that said that she shouldn't even be working off tips, so hopefully she isn't doing anything illegal. I was thinking more like $25-30 but I didn't know anything.

Good morning. Supposed to get more rain again this afternoon. Rain rain go away and send it all Sandy's way!

They deliverd our wood yesterday for our new house. They should start framing within the next couple of weeks!

Kaleigh slept last night.

Found out the night befor last that we have a baptism to go on Sunday. We were hoping to go to the zoo for father's Day. Who has a baptism on Father's Day? Jerry's brother. They barely even speak to each other. Scott likes to hold grudges and then blames his problem on other people, just like their dad. Anyway, they had their 2nd child a couple of days after Easter. Of course, they never come to anything of ours, but we have to go to their party. Sounds like a fun day!

Okay I am done with this weather. It is the middle of June and we haven't seen the sun for 2 days and it hasn't been above 60 degrees in those days.

Sorry mom, but I might have a change of plans and go with Stacey tonight to work out where it is indoors. Going to the campground with the rain does not sound like very much fun anymore. I doubt you will stay there very long anyway because everyone will be inside their trailers!! This weekend looks like it is supose to rain all weekend too..maybe you might want to reconsider your plans for this weekend!!

I have received some good feedback on the internet regarding my bumper on my car. Looks like a body place can make it look like new and if it is too expensive their is a home kit for $15. Guess I will have to wait until Monday to see what Hanks says about the price!! Still haven't heard from the guy at Nissan, maybe I will give him another call tomorrow.

It's above 90 here and sunny. Scattered thunderstorms are possible but I don't see anything threatening outside.

We survived the sleepover and I have just dropped all the kids off at the next Mom's house!! Three of the kids staying over are from the same family and then there was another boy. The three are moving to Haymarket, Va. (near D.C.) next week and these guys are going to really miss each other. It just made sense to let them spend the last few days together. Now for the weekend, we will all be in Raleigh for state games so they will still be together (just not in one room)! They went to bed around 1:30am but the previous night they had been at the other house and stayed up almost all night!!! They really were exhausted last night!

Paul and I came home Tuesday night from hockey practice some @%#&% idiot had dumped some pickled pigs feet on our front porch all over my door mat. I was furious. I think I know who dit it. I ran some older kids off the deck of the house next door a couple of weeks ago since the house is empty and they had no business being there. I think this was retaliation. What a smell!!!

I have quite a bit of laundry I still need to get done and I also want to clean the house tonight so we can come home to a clean one. With Turner gone tonight, it should be pretty easy without the distractions.

Car problems and laundry, yuck. Pickled pigs feet ...YUUUCCKKK!!!

Good to get caught up with you all. Tomorrow, Ben has a surgery to fix two hernia's and remove 3 lipoma's. He should be a real hoot for the next few days. I couldn't get out of work for tomorrow so my Step-dad gets to take him and pick him up from it. I've warned the kids to feed him and then stay below the radar while I'm at work Saturday.

Me, my kid's and even a neighbor kid ripped out the deck Tuesday night which was good timing since the rain has kept things at a standstill the last two days. (And they only wanted Dairy Queen for pay!) Monday the cement guys will come and prep/frame for a stamped concrete patio in my back yard and widen our driveway a bit in front. Yippee. I was so sick of the deck rails needing to be pounded back into rotting wood with that deck, and the side of the driveway grew more weed grass than my lawn.

I really tried to read fast because I did come home & work three days in a row but the problem was my son, Derek, borrowed my computer tower (or whatever it's called) & just returned it tonight. I have a million things to do but it felt like I missed my family by not being able to get on the boards with you guys. I am leaving for the Poconos, PA. on Saturday & I have to pick my daughter up at the airport tomorrow at 6 AM.

Jeanne - Do you ever stay still? You seem to be be going everywhere...you are a very busy lady!!!

Lori - okay to post about Bryan. Well I went to dinner with his sister. Turns out his new gf reminds his mom, dad, and sister of my sister. So I have been teasing my sister that he was using me to get to her She has the red hair and everything. His mom, sister, and grandma do not like her...they think she acts too sophisticated for her age and that she is boring, (his sister said other things what they don't like about her but I can't remember). I saw a picture of her and it made me feel so much better, she is short and chubby!! I asked Julie (his sister) how they met....they met at school where he worked at and they didn't have any classes together because she got her degree in Psychology. So who knows how long he was cheating on me. Anyway she came from Michigan and had an apartment up in Greeley until a few weeks ago. She flew back home and then her and Bryan's family is going for vacation and she is going to move in with them. Julie's family doesn't even think that Bryan is much in love with her. I think that his family doesn't like her because they figured out he was cheating on me, but I don't know. I am sure I left some things out that my mom can add it!!

Picked up my daughter Summer at the airport this morning at 6:30 AM & she told me she got engaged. The ring is really different. She wanted an "antique" setting. She is a teacher so the wedding will probably be next summer (she already knows about the Panama cruise) but where? Who knows? We don't have hardly any relatives since I am an only child & all his relatives are in California or the West Coast so I said whatever she decides will be fine.

Just wanted to tell my "cruise family" the good news.

I have really alot to do today so I NEED to stay off the computer.

Julie: It is a good thing we didn't get together last night. Things got worse after I talked to you. Kaleigh had a complete meltdown. She did sleep in this morning thought. I wasn't going to wake the monster.

Looks like it's gonna drizzle all day. Only supposed to be 68 tomorrow, but I have to work, so it really doesn't matter.

There was a message from 8 AM that someone wanted to show our house between 9 and 10. I didn't get the message until 9:15. Hopefully they can reschedule. I guess they came to the open house and want to see it again. But, we do have a showing at 5:30 PM with different people.

Lori: You will have to let me know how you like you stamped patio. We can't decide between than or a deck for our new house. I really like a deck, but they are so much work. Hope Ben's surgery goes well.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Julie. It definitely made me feel good that I was the hottie!!! (you read my mind!!) But still to find out that she is moving into their house, makes my stomach turn. And what also makes me kind of sad is that he left me for someone he doesn't seem to love through his family's eyes. Oh well not much I can do about it!!!

Pixie Dust and Prayers for my Grandpa He got out of surgery and seems to be doing good. My mom and dad are visiting him as I type.

Heidi, does your offer go for my three too ? You know, the idea of her moving into their house might not be HIS idea but hers. She might be the type that is "poor me" about her apartment and being out there without her family etc. Even if he asked her, she might have been the one to put it into his mind. Maybe this will be the "thing" to snap him back into reality and see what he lost and it might get him to re-think his actions. I bet the "move-in" won't be for long since there are so many who don't like her. He dug is own grave...... let him lye in it for awhile! Just remember....... What a day here today...not at all good...zipper broke on pants, had to change, run for bus, badge holder broke, lunch bag broke, no air on the train coming home and feel like I am being stalked by one of my associates...long story. But it doesn't compare to what happened to the family whose father/brother/son was murdered today in Saudi Arabia...so I will not complain. My life isn't so bad.

I imagine not too many people will be around this weekend...I am going to an estate sale tomorrow with my mom...hoping to get the treadmill they have advertised. Maybe the Waterford lamp too...we'll see.
