This weekend is my Mom's Mothers day gift. Patty, Me and my other sister went in on a spa package. Tomorrow my Mom will look like a Spring Chick!

Sally, have a great time at the spa. Ah heck, what are you talking about? The Spring is gone from the chicken.......remember I just saw you. That is sooo not true!

Going camping this weekend. Just Ted and I. First time out with the new truck. Ted is sooooo ansy to get it on the road, pulling the trailer. Weather is improving. High 62, tomorrow 75. Suppose to be dry, also.

Gotta run. This is Heidi's and my Dr. day. We both have appts at the same time and the bldgs are just across from one another.

Sandy have fun camping....that use to be our life in Ohio....we camped every weekend from the end of May until the first part of Sept. with one weekend out for a family reunion. It was the best part of bringing up our kids...spent a lot of time together...Dick planned our trips around what the kids would enjoy....

It is still only 36 here...I covered some of my plants but none of them look the worse for wear....not suppose to have a frost after Mothers Day! We never did get the snow, just rain.

Yea, I don't know how many of you follow the other boards and know about the Tag Fairy, but either yesterday or today I got tagged. How funny. Gotta love the TF.

I was so happy about Survivor. Who else was?

Susan - still not sure about DC. My coworker and I were talking about it because she has to go out there for training in June, but still no word.

A little chilly this morning, but it is getting better. What are everybody's plan for this weekend? Mine is to relax with my DBF. Have a great weekend.

Busy day. I hate to rub this in to all you snow bunnies but I spent the day planting flowers and putting down cocoa mulch (I love to smell chocolate). It was 80 plus degrees today

Off to Margate...Lucy the elephant. .. tomorrow morning. Pam has a house for a week and invited me for the weekend.

Hot here!! No snow here! ALthough it was chilly this morning.

I got a call from my DIL...just to explain the call I got at 6AM this morning. Apparently Olivia likes cell phones and dialed me up. I told Melinda that I guess she wanted to talk to me...no comment also No mention of her b'day party.

Well, it looks like I am not even getting an invitation to Olivia's belated birthday party. I called my mom and an email was sent out to everyone to keep 6/5 open...I was not included in the email and I am already booked for Chicago. I am dead to my son...non existant I guess.

Glad you are feeling better Julie. Pipes and drums!!! I wish I was there.

Sandy I hope it warms up for camping.

Barb I can't believe you already bought your formal for the cruise! Wish I was going.

Bonnie, I hope you have a great weekend. You really deserve it. I am so sorry your son and his wife can't see what they have done and that Olivia is the one who is hurt the most.

Today will be marathon cleaning. The house has been neglected too much and I'm determined to get it tip-top shape today.

Got up early & brought over breakfast for my Mom & Aunt. Then I swiffered their kitchen floor. I love my swiffer wet mop. It picks up the dog hair & cleans the floor!

Hot date tonight:cloud9. I haven't even seen Bobby for three weeks. I am hopeful all will go well but who knows - what will be, will be.

Hi everyone! Yesterday was gorgeous!!! It was about 85-88 degrees and sunny! But today.......... cold and rainy!! The high was about 55. Oh well, we will get them back. All I could think of is that Denine and Jerry must be coming home. LOL!!! It was beautiful the whole time they have been gone and now it is suppose to rain the next 4 days! Sorry Denine!!!

Bonnie, your son and DIL are very immature! Like Susan said, it is Olivia who will be hurt! Your son is luck that Garry and I don't live near by because I'd do something to knock some sense into them. Someday when they grow up, they will realize what they did and how wrong they were. WE STILL LOVE YOU AND MAKENZIE SAID YOU'RE HERS ANYWAY!!!!

Susan, do you want to come over here and power clean too? It needs it!!

The police memorial parade was very nice. I took all three kids downtown to see daddy and the rest of the 200 plus officers!! Daddy looked very nice!! He was in his dress blues and we even saw him in his hat with the gold braid!!! (you will hardly EVER see Garry with a hat on, he hates them). A cute little note..... the city blocked off the street that the parade was going to come down and they had two fire trucks with their ladders extended with an American flag hanging from them in the center of the street. We decided to cross the street so we would be on the side that daddy would be on. Anyways, I was pushing the two little ones in a double stroller and Makenzie was walking slightly behind me as we crossed in front of the fire trucks on the closed street eating her hot dog that she HAD TO HAVE. When we got to the other side of the street and found our "spot" to view the parade, a woman comes over to me and says I had to take a picture of your daughter. She shows me the picture on her camera and she got Makenzie right as she was "under" the American flag!!! It brought me to tears it was sooooo cute. She is a professional photographer and her husband is a housing police officer. She told me to tell her when Garry was coming and she would take pictures of him for me. She gave me her card and told me to give her a week and she would develope the pictures and she would send them to me. People were so nice down there. There were a lot of children and their parent(s) showing their respect for the police. I was surprised to see so many children.

Tonight, Garry and I went downtown to the State Theater to see the Police Memorial Tatoo. It was police pipes and drums form all over (New York PD, Chicago PD, Berges (sp) County New Jersey PD, Canada, Cinninatti Ohio to name a few. Also the U.S. Marine Corp Band from Virgina played. We also had Irish dancers too! It was very nice!!!

Jeanne, how did the date go? Inquiring minds want to know!

A nice strwberry red!! What a wonderful weekend to be by the ocean. Rode bikes all over Margate yesterday, then ate and walked on the beach, no TV but at least we were in the bar & grill for dinner when Smarty Jones won the race!!!!! What a horse!!! 11 1/2 lengths!! He is our local 4 legged hero and the bar went nuts screaming & yelling!!! There was more for him than the Flyers who won before he race.

Go Smarty Jones!! All the way!

Today got up early had breakfast in the local deli...not allowed to bring meat into the house since they keep Kosher, then on the beach by 9AM! It was wonderful! I was still able to walk after riding the bike...Glenn says I will hurt tomorrow.

Thank you all for your support with my son...I am quite upset over this but I am too stubborn to call him. I just have too much pride I guess. Oh well...on with my life.

2 weeks till I spend a week in Chicago making Glenn work, work, work around the house.

Jeanne...how'd the date go??? Maybe it is still going on? That is why we haven't heard from you?

Julie...sounds like a great time at the celebration. I hope you can scan and send some pictures!

Hi guys, we are back. Had a very nice relaxing weekend. Barb and Sally, we had to run into the Spgs because Ted forgot some stuff. We went to Walmart and thought of you guys. I think the last time we were there Sally was there about the same time.

Julie, I can't wait to hear how that picture turned out. You will have to send it on to all of us!!!!

Bonnie, just remember how much you are loved here and that we are all here for YOU! Love you Bonnie! Sounds like you had a good weekend too. Poor Glenn, are you really going to make him work that hard??? You never told all of us how Easter worked out.

Got my first mosquito bite. Hope it isn't West Nile. I have to be healthy for the cruise!

Good Morning!

Had a good weekend. The spa thing went well. Mom was all dolled up.

Bob is in Las Vegas for a week. He is at a Chief's conferance. I wanted to go but have to save the vacation time for the cruise

Looks like another beautiful day here. How did the camping go Sandy?? We are going camping in June. Lets see rent tents...air mattress...sleeping bags....

I am so excited about the 14 day cruise. I have reservations but am thinking of getting 2 rooms instead of 1. It would be way more comfortable if the girls were in a room of their own.
