Home today...the same tooth re abcessed...I look like someone gave me a left hook! Not a pretty sight! I hope this antibiotic works so I can get it pulled...no more root canals and crowns for me...not worth the expense.

Beautiful day here today...56 degrees right now. Too bad I can't enjoy it.

Sand- I was going to ask where you were last night. I figured you were kinda trying to teach all a lesson. My computer froze though and I wasn't feeling well so didn't try again to post. went to bed between 7 & 7:30.

I realized last night that I only have a place setting for 4 so I have to get more sets of dishes. I have Fiesta ware. When I got them I thought it would never be more than 4 for a meal...Oh well...just have to figure out what colors. I have orange, yellow, lime green and turqouise (sp).

HI all! Been lurking, I know shame on me! But wasn't missed. Nothing too exciting going on here. Same old , same old. Been taking care of the kids, working out, and TRYING to clean the house! Garry has been working his butt off at work. Boy has our small city changed in the last few years. He had 5 people arrested in one night from an incident where 4 black men were walking around a house with baseball bats and a woman in a car waiting for them. This house has been marked for drugs and prostitution! NICE!!!!!!!!!! Our little "surban" city has changed!!! AND when you only have two police officers and one sgt. working the night shift, boy do things get interesting! I can't wait until April 1st! That is when the new law of people in Ohio can carry guns (concealed) on their persons goes into affect! The idiot politicians of Ohio thought this would be a great law to pass! Yeah, they were thinking!

Anyways, everything is going really well for the kids. Makenzie gets registered for kindergarten next monday and the Big Guy is already registered for pre-school next year! Brooke is growing like a weed! She is already eating cereal and a little bit of fruit! She does really well with it! At her two month check up, the doctor couldn't believe that she was lifting her head up so well and looking around. She tracks people extremely well when they enter and exit the room and walking by her. She loves to watch t.v and we only sit up when we are awake! SHe doesn't like to be laying down.

Susan, I'm glad that Turner will at least get to go play hockey! Let him know that we are all still very proud of him!

Sandy, I got the pictures you sent of lunch at wilderness! That was a lot of fun!

Barb, gald to see everything is going wonderfully with the entire family! Please send us an autograph picture when you hit it big!

Jeanne, tell Bob that his adoptive disney family are all with him and his son! Let's jsut hope that his son will come home soon.

Bonnie, Garry and I can't believe your son! He will come around some day and realize that he has made one of the biggest mistakes of his life! I'm happy that Glenn will be visiting you for Easter! If he can put up with all of us at the Wilderness Lodge, he can certainly have Easter dinner with 5 women! LOL!

Since Garry has to work tonight and through Fri, we are going out to celebrate our anniversary on Sat night. I can't tell you HOW LONG it has been since we went ANYWHERE by ourselves! It has to be at least 2 years!!!!!! It should be really nice!

Bonnie, that is really bad that you know me that well that you figured out that I was trying to teach a lesson! Am I really that transparent? Oh well, it WORKED!

Julie, it really was nice to hear from you. Don't you hate it when the big town crimes come into your community? I can not for the life of me figure out the concealed weapons law!! Coming from the Columbine community it bothers me even more. When we were walking to the memorial service for Columbine we had to walk in front of the NRA demonstrators. I think that they could have had more compassion for our community. Your family is growing up so fast. I can't believe that McKenzie is going to Kindergarten. Happy Anniversary. You definitely deserve sometime to yourselves!!

Bonnie, sorry about you tooth again. Poor you!!!! Good thing I didn't call you last night about the D.O. as it would have been 9:00 your time and you would have been in bed and I would have been in the DOGHOUSE with you! Excuses, excuses. Just go buy more dishes if that is what you want!

Jeanne, I heard from my neighbor whose son just went over that the guys have some sort of internet access for emails. Hopefully Bob and his son will check it out.

SANDY: An Osteopathic Doctor went to an Osteopathic School. It used to be they couldn't get into "Medical" School but I don't think it is like that anymore. A long time ago they used to use less medicine & more therapy. I did feel the earthquake the other day but it felt like a big truck passing.

This is the day the Lord has made . What a beautiful day we had in New Jersey. It is supposed to rain later tonight but I don't care I have to work tomorrow & Friday.

Thanks Jeanne, I thought that a DO is an osteopath. Not sure that would be my first choice!! He started hurting after a wipeout last week and was diagnosed today with tendonitis of the elbow and bursitis (sp) of the hip. hmmm, who knows for sure? By the way Jeanne..... 96 bottles of Asti!

We're out of here in the morning. We'll go to the doggiefoster mommie's house first and meet JoJo the Beagle. We'll take her (the dog) with us to be tourists at Garden of the Gods for some nice walking around enjoying the scenery time.link-for the curious Then we will return her for a few days and have a Cave of the Winds tourditto and a Cowboy show dinner, yee haw. I'm sure we'll find ourselves at the top of Pikes Peak singing 'America the Beautiful', touring the Air Force Academy and Olympic center, museums and waterfalls, and have a few days worth of other activities as well. It's a pretty loosely scheduled trip. Love that.

Lori- Looks like fun!

Sandy-my PCP is a DO. I wouldn't want to go to a DO hospital or have a DO as a surgeon. They actually have more hours of education than MD's since they have to have the same plus the osteopathic manipulation courses. I think a lot still end up as DO's because they don't make it into traditional med school. I used to work at an osteopathic hospital and one of the interns had graduated 5th in his class at the Naval Academy. He regretted choosing the DO over the regular med school. Some actually do their residency in regular MD hospitals so you never know.

Off to work today...I can talk better today...jaw still a little swollen but not as bad as yesterday.

Take me to Fargos...heck take Glenn along also. You have that picture of the 2 of us Sandy. He might enjoy it also. Especially since Lori won't be there to drench us in beer!

Thanks Bonnie for the info on the DO. My friend swears by them. I guess there is an hospital in the Springs where Barb and Sally live.

Lori, you will have a blast. The Springs has so much to do. Even more than what you have planned. You are so lucky with the weather, too. Little JoJo is sooo cute. She will have to meet Aunt Sandy.

Bonnie, glad that you are feeling better. Teeth are certainly no fun that is for sure! You know, I agree with Lori. When you feel up to it go visit sweet Olivia. She needs a Grandma like you to make her smile! Blow off what Ryan and wife say or do.

Hope Krista is ok. Haven't heard from her in quite awhile. In fact, we haven't heard from Laurie since we opened gifts. Wow, a long time. Laurie and Krista if you are out there, please check in. AND that Darren. Comes and goes as he pleases. What a guy!

Yea this morning I walked to my desk and had a memo on my chair stating that the U.S. Court of Appeals has suspended the order pending further investigation!! That makes the next two day a little better for me!!! The tricky part was plugging the stupid thing back in...crawling under that desk was not fun!!!

Denine - BOR is bringing water and power to the west. Ever heard of the Hoover Dam in Nevada....that is one of our famous dams. Pretty much any dam built in the west was built by BOR but everyone has heard of Hoover Dam. There is also Cooley Dam that a lot of people have heard of. Let's just say being in Human Resources we staff many many many Engineers. Thats pretty much all we need are them to take care of the dams and powerplants. Of course BOR is also in charge of running experiments on how to protect riverbeds, fish and other wildlife. We have a building that is across from the building that I work in that has mock dams of the ones we have built and run tests. It is so cool to see them!!!

Susan - Poor Turner but atleast he gets to go somewhere!!! I am sure he will still have fun in DC!!! If we are able to go back I will definitely push for that weekend. I am not sure if it can wait that long though because we were supose to be done next week. But with the internet shutdown and next week's retro pay actions we may be able to try and work for that weekend but I am sure I would have to be there the 22-23 and then maybe have an extended weekend to see you!!!! I hope it all works out!!

Barb - Can't wait for Fargos!!! Its only 2 weeks away!!! Sounds like a lot of fun and a lot of people!!! I wish everyone could go!!!

Sandy: My PCP is a DO. I have been going to him for a long time. He is really good. They are supposed to treat the whole body, not just what ails you, as in, there may be more to this problem than meets the eye. Kaleigh and Jerry also go to him. We do not have a DO hospital around here.

It was pouring again this morning, but it is starting to clear up. I hope it gets and we can go for a walk not a or a but a walk.

I got my drivers license renewed yesterday. Could they have been any friendlier? I think the ladies face would have cracked if she would have tried to smile!

Kaleigh is officialy 18 months old today.

Kaleigh had her 18 month check-up this morning. NO shots! Yeah! She is now 23.4 pounds.

We went for a nice walk outside yesterday. I don't know if we can today or not. It all depends if it rains.

We watched Mona Lisa's Smile last night. It was pretty good. We watched Under the Tuscan Sun the night before. It was OK. I was hoping for more scenery. We are trying to catch up on our movies.
