Where did that snow come from? And where is it going? Usually we get left overs from NC but not this time...supposed to go up to the 60's here. Weird!
Look at the bright side...a long weekend! As far as Stanley...shovel a path for him. What we have to do for our animals!!

TGIF!!!

Wow Susan, that is a lot of snow!!!!

Bonnie- we just barely miss each other by one day. My layover at O'Hare is 3/7 and suposadly the plane gets into Chicago at 12:15 and takes off at 1:30...I would have loved to take our time through the terminal and see what it is all about, but I have a feeling we will be running!!! I am not sure how you can look up the gates that you will be in. How do I do that? I did notice that the Reagan National airport has a Disney Store in it!!!!

Stanley finally figured it out. He dug out a path and took care of things.

We are supposed to get in the 30s today, 40s tomorrow, 50s on Sunday and upper 60s sometime next week. Remember we were in the upper 60s and hit 70 just a week ago! I don't get it!

Hope you guys in Colorado don't get too much coming up!

Saw all of your snow on GMA this morning.
You know you got it bad when you make the National news.

Still pouting about Meredith's choice (Ian, ugggghhhh).
It drove me to eat Thin Mints (go girl scouts) . I would like to see a study of weight done, pre-girl scout cookies and post.;) ;)

Off to work.
Krista

Wow Susan! :earseek: That's a lot of snow!!! I didn't think that it was usual but everyone thinks that we get a lot and we don't. Used to but not anymore. Great that Stanley completed his jobs!!!! We always shoveled a path for our dog, too. Our storm has now disintegrated so we will get rain tomorrow afternoon into night and then light flurries. It will continue through Sunday. I think that Stacey will be alright moving. Hopefully it will be all over before it rains.

Bonnie, thanks again for helping Heidi. I think that she will be doing a lot more traveling. Thanks for showing her the ropes!

Krista, thin mints? Come on. It's all about Samoas! :teeth:

Heidi, well at least you will be busy at the Reagan Airport if you get there too early! Don't forget me when you are shopping at the Disney Store. You know my size and what I like.

You guys have heard about the family that is going to have the Walt Disney Suite on our next cruise. Anyway, their 23 year old DD is sick and has been for the last few weeks. She just beat cancer and has diabetes. This time they haven't figured out what is going on. When we were at the Yankee candle store for Stacey I found the cutest tiniest bottle of "dust". I mean tiny!!The dust came in different colors. I bought the lime green dust bottle and sent it to Kristy for pixie dust. It is so cute. Come to find out, on the receipt said it was "fairy dust" and I didn't even realize it. There is a metal decoration around it that I couldn't figure out what it was. Graci's mom made it out to be a fairy without knowing what I was doing. Just thought that I would tell you guys this in case you ever need to buy pixie dust.

Better close. I promised Stacey that I would help her today.

Keep us posted on that snow, Susan!

Sue: You really got hammered. We rarely get that much snow at a time, unless it's a blizzard. You even got thunder snow. That's what we call it here. Take care!

Jeanne: Have a wonderful time this weekend!

Krista: Have some Thin Mints for me!

Barb: Sounds like you enjoyed yourself. :rotfl:

TGIF. This has been a long week. I am still stuffy from the sinus infection and still on antibiotics. I went for my B12 shot yesterday. I get one again next week and then 2 weeks after that.

We got the federal taxes done last night. Jerry still wants to look at some stuff before they get sent in.

We are going to a friends house for dinner tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Sandy: May have to send you out for some, we don't have a Yankee Candle store:mad:

Denine: Do you think the shots are helping?? I hope they are.

Julie: Where are you??

Hi Bonnie.

Speaking of WHERE ARE YOU???? DARRRRRRRRENNNNNNNN?????

Hi Jeanne

Hi Susan

Hi Heidi

Hi
Barb, Mom, Patty, etc. et5c. etc. etc.

Have a good evening, miss you all.
K

Good Morning all!

Are you dug out yet Sue? You really got hit!

Sandy...I would be glad to heip Heidi anytime. Too bad her layover in Chicago isn't longer. Glenn and I could go visit. But it would take her at least 15 mins to get to the front of a terminal.

Heidi- to find out what gate you are arriving at or leaving from go to the airlines website a day before you leave and put in your flight number to "check status" It will provide you with gates and times. American Airlines has a great service that they will call you cell phone with updates on times and gates. United has something similar but it is only good for emails I believe...check it out.

A weekend without Pam!!! She is busy moving this weekend...I guess she has enough people because she didn't ask me...makes me happy I can clean my pig sty here! And nap since I am exhausted!

Slowly digging out. The sun is out and we will get into the low 40s today. Melting will be slow going with so much snow.

We're gettinhg a little stir crazy here. Turner has hockey practice this afternoon so we'll get out then after some of the melting occurs.

The pixie dust is such a cute thing. I'll have to try to find some around here for those times when it is really needed!

Have agreat Saturday, everyone.
Later!

Krista: Yes, I do believe the B12 shots and prescription vitamins are helping. I am not nearly as tired as I was. I haven't even been taking a nap in the afternoon.

Sue: You are not allowed to go stir crazy after only one snow event. Try being covered in snow all winter and you know why I get depressed.

Bonnie: An entire weekend just for yourself!

I took Kaleigh for a walk yesterday. We were gone for 40 minutes. It was nice to get outside.

My parents are coming over to hand over their tax stuff and then we leave for Judy's for dinner.

Not much else going on.

Hi guys, we got her moved. Oh my gosh, I am so tired and I think that every muscle in my body hurts. Hope it doesn't snow. Ted is tired too and really shouldn't go out and plow snow for 12 hours!

Krista, I would be more than happy to get you some pixie dust. Just let me know whenever. It was something like 6 or 7 dollars.

Susan, glad that you are finally getting out. I know how it feels.

Bonnie, a weekend off? Good for you!!

By the way, Stacey and Richard LOVED their housewarming gift. I loved both of their reactions.

Naptime and then another nap. Somewhere in that time, I need to feed Ted. Sure wish he didn't need to eat!

Bonnie, a weekend off? Good for you!!

Not quite Sandy...I tried to take a nap today since I have been so tired. Radar Pam called!!! And tomorrow she wants me to go to breakfast and then help at the apt. since her ex will be at the house picking stuff up. No rest for the weary!!!!

Happy Sunday!! The sun is out and we are supposed to get to 60 today! Lots of melting going on. We made it to the low 50s yesterday and the sun was bright! This past storm ranked in the top 5 all time snow storms for our area. It's supposed to be in the 60 all week! This stuff should be gone soon!

We go to Charleston next weekend for a hockey tournament. I am hoping for wonderful weather there. Turner's games are Sat. and Sun. mornings. If the weather is nice, maybe we can ave a little fun Sat. afternoon and evening.

Today will be spent helping Turner with studying for several tests he will have this week starting with Social Studies tomorrow and the makeup Spelling test from last week. What fun!!

Hope you all are having a great day and great weather!
Later!

Wow! I made it to the end of posts this time. Yoo Wooo!
Barb, Bob's life would be SO boring without you. The Karaoke sounds like a hoot.
Sandy, we used the Metro in DC with the kids about 3 years ago and it was really nice. As long as she can manage her luggage easily enough, it would work out OK. If she has too much to be mobile with, then a shuttle would be better.
Susan, dug out yet? We only got 4 inches last night, but it rained before that. Yeah MOISTURE!
Hi to everyone. Healthy and Happy wishes to all of you.

Lately I've been doing the cookie 'booth sale' thing every weekend. We added another $150. to the troop acct. I lost more than that taking off work to do it though. Humm. Something's not right there. Yesterday was the last sale though and I'm SO fine with that!

Last Sunday my Grandma died so we've had a busy week with relatives flying in for the funeral which was Friday. Now everyone is gone so it's just getting things back to normal. My parents have a ton of paperwork, etc., still to do for her.

Next weekend I take my GirlScouts up to a camp for 2 nights. It's the first time for most of them and one has yet to even make it through the night on a sleepover at friends homes. This should be interesting. I'm tempted to slip her a 'Mickey'. (just kidding... I think) Any ideas anyone??? Seven troops are going and it's being organized by the Service Unit so that makes it relatively easy on me. We'll have a heated cabin to ourselves with just a chilly short hike to the bathrooms. There's a big lodge for meals and skit performances, etc. We'll see how I do after 2 nights without sleep. My biggest worry is keeping a nice attitude toward a couple of the 'higher maintenance' girls. I'll have one other Mom with me so maybe we can tag-team with the forced patience.:p

Barb, since I wasn't able to get off any more work, we'll be staying in Colorado for spring break. We'll just have 4 days for a family quickie get away so I want to take them to Cave of the Winds and some other stuff in the Colorado Springs area. We'll be there March 25-28. I'd like to do a tour of the Air Force Academy Chapel. Do you know how I'd get reservations for that or do we just show up during the open hours? Do you have any suggestions of other things we should do while there? The Cog wont be running but we'll probably drive up to the top of Pikes Peak just to say we've been there when seeing it often for the rest of our lives. The kids love staying in hotels (probably 'cause I let them jump on the beds :p) Do you have any suggestions of fun, kid friendly places? The Broadmoor didn't seem too kid friendly on their website. Thanks for the input.

Lori, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Good luck with the girl scouts next weekend. Sounds like you have been as busy as usual.

Here's to a much better week, weather-wise! Over a foot of snow and and 4 days later we are supposed to hit 70!! Gotta love the south!!

Love you all!! Later!

Susan, you are such a bragger. 70's? Wow, must be nice! Sounds like Turner has a lot of tests for his age. I don't remember that many for the girls.

Lori, before 9-11 all you had to do was drive to the Air Force Academy and tour on your own. Maybe it has changed now but I don't know for sure. We enjoyed doing it as a family especially when they were out between classes. I seem to remember watching a marching drill at one time also. Heidi and Bryan liked 7 Falls for hiking.

How did your weekend go Bonnie? Glad that it is over?

Where is everyone?

Okay I thought I was in pretty good shape, but after moving Stacey on Saturday I am still stiff and sore.

Well a friend of mine from work keeps telling me how easy the Metro is, but in the other breath he said I should take a cab and save the receipts because the Bureau will pay for the cab rides!!! So now not sure what I want to take...Metro or cab. He told me to definitely take a cab to and from the airport. Washington DC a week away and I am getting more and more excited!!!!

Have a great week everyone.

Hello. Couldn't get on this morning. AOL was slower than molasses in January.

Nothing going on here.

Lori: I am sorry about your grandmother. Good luck with the girlscouts!

Sue: Enjoy you warm weather. It will melt the snow quickly.

Julie: Come out, come out wherever you arrrrre!

Where is everyone?

Heidi, take the cab and expense it! Less hassle that way with your lugagge.

Not much going on here. Just thought I'd say good morning.

Later!
