Snowing again?? WOW you guys have really been hit in Denver. I think it may still be snowing here but very lightly.

Basic is in Texas, Jaymee thinks her tech school will be in Texas also. Glad she is there in the winter and Spring and not Summer! THe boy friend is still around. But with them in 2 different states don't think it will last. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We are braving the roads tonight and going to a movie. Helps that the theater is only a mile a way.

Good day sunshine!!! Woohoo!!! I am going to enjoy the next couple of days with the sun out!!! I know the plow is going to come by to do the streets but hopefully we can keep up with him while he keeps burying us!!! We probably got another good 10 inches total yesterday.

My BIL is coming up today to go through old baby clothes. My nephew is having a boy and they need as much as help as possible. Time to start finding it all!!

Wow...I can't believe how much baby stuff we have! It always amazes me when we have to pull it out. Our front room is now covered with boxes!

They aren't coming up until tomorrow so I can't go through the stuff with them since I am going to the bridal show with Heidi tomorrow. It's a good thing because I have a feeling I will get a little emotional going through all the stuff. It was tough enough putting it away, I know it will be tougher letting someone else go through it! I just have to say one thing....I hope they appreciate it all!!

Good Morning!

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday. Bob is working this weekend. He has to work one weekend a month. He is also taking a math class on the Friday and Saturday night he has to work. He was pretty tired last night when he got home about 10:30.

We had Tiffany's birthday party last night here with cake and pizza. I ordered a cookie bouquet to be delivered to her dorm on her actual birthday and a dozen cookies to share with the other people in her wing.

I have to start the Valentine bags of goodies for my Missionettes and Tiffany's dorm this week. Not sure if I should make bags or try and make them heart shaped I need to go buy material today or tomorrow.

Jaymee leaves tomorrow and Tiffany on Tuesday. Not sure what kind of shape I will be in. Jaymee's is so permenate. Tiffany will be home again in March but Don't know when I will see Jaymee again. Not looking forward to the next week.

Stacy-Nice of you to give them your baby clothes. I know how you feel about letting them go. Sure is hard.

We went to the bridal show today. Poor Heidi was overwhelmed but she got a lot of info. to look at. We even ran into somebody from high school! It was fun though!

I wish I would have been here when they went through the boxes. Richard didn't even go through the boxes so they got more than what I was planning on giving. I had all the boxes ready for garage sale so my nephew got a lot of double things...bottles, bottle warmers, blankets and a ton of other stuff! I am trying not to be upset but there was a lot there!!! I'm hoping that maybe they will go home and go through all the stuff and find that there is way more in there than what they need and give it back. That would be the right thing to do, right!!

Barb- you are such a creative person...I wish I was more like you! I know the girls are leaving soon...just enjoy every moment you get with them!

Stacey - that is too bad they got duplicates. No offense, but I really don't think they will do the right thing and give it back to you so what I would do is mention it to Troy and tell him you would like the duplicate stuff back.

I had a very busy weekend. Saturday I went skiing with my dad. It was cold and windy but great powder!!! Sunday we went to the bridal show. OMG, I was so thankful for my sister being there. She is like a pro at those things. I was so overwhelmed by all the booths and people wanting to talk to me because I had on a bride-to-be sticker!!!! My sister and mom were great and grabbed everything for me and pulled me a long. It was fun, but next time I will be more prepared. I did buy these cool these for center pieces. They are called Pearl beads. They start out like sand and then you soak them in water and they turn to the size of a small marble. They are so pretty, you can add floating candles, lights, dye to change the colors, and oils for scents. When you are done you just rinse them off and they go back to the clear pearl color. If you let them dry, they will shrink back down to sand and you can use it again up to 5 times, or else you can keep them in water and they will stay good forever. It is really cool!!! Not so sure if I would make Chris go to another one!!!! He was all about the free food, but didn't like much else.

Good morning everyone.....well, here I am a year older. 7 is my favorite number so I have the year o7 and I am 77 so it should be a good year for me but it hasn't started off that way. But the one thing I have learned in all my years is it doesn't do any good to complain so just look for the good in everything. It is good my knee only hurts and my leg isn't broken and my cough is from a cold and not TB or something like that.

I know everyone is complaining about the snow but think about the people that have to deal with tornado, earthquakes and other of mother natures acts. At least we are getting a lot of moisture and water so we won't have a water shortage this summer. I happen to love snow and I don't have to go out because I work but those that do at least you have a job.

Don't you just hate people that look on the bright side of things? But at least I am happy so don't yell at me

I am going to miss Jaymee....but this is something she really wants to do. She is scared of basic from all she has heard but my daughter in law and my grandaughter both went through it and so can she.

We had to get a new tv for our bedroom and the one downstairs is working now so I am all set. I need to do some cleaning today and my knee is better so I don't have any excuse now.

Good Morning

I'm hanging in there barely today. I feel like I am on the threshold of something I have been dreading for the last 22 years. It is so hard to let Jaymee go. She has been like a best friend to me. She is leaving a day earlier then she thought. I had already scheduled tomorrow off because both girls were suppose to leave but with Jaymee leaving early I really did not want to have to face watching her leave. So here I am at work living in denial. Tiffany will be back in March so it is not as hard to let her go. Last night Jaymee cried on my shoulder it was very tuff. I know she is scared. I hate this decision but had to be strong and tell her things would be ok and I am going to be there for her when really I still believe she made this decision to fast and it is not the right one for her. I know she is regretting it now.

After Sally's positive post I shouldn't post this because she is right and we should think about the brighter side of things but.....:
They are predicting another BLIZZARD by the end of the week. I haven't watched the news yet but this is what my office is talking about. I guess it is supose to be as big as the one we had before Christmas and it will be starting on Thursday and finish up on Saturday. Okay, I have had enough og the snow for awhile, please please please pass us and go to the places that need it!!!!! We need the current snow to melt before we get anymore because we have no where left to put new snow. What is up with this weather???

Heidi, I heard we were to get snow Thursday but not that it would be bad so who knows. Although Denver gets it worse than we do. This is really unusal. Normally I start to clean out my flower beds in Feb and March but I might have to dig through snow to do it this year. I guess we have been due for this for quite awhile as we have had some really mild winters.

Stacy- Are you free tomorrow? Bob and I will be bringing Tiffany to Denver to fly back to school. She leaves at 10:25 am so I could be at Park Meadows around 11:00 if you want to pick up the Pampered Chef stuff. I am pretty sure I will not be able to come up on Friday because of the snow.

Barb-I am so sorry about Jaymee. She will be in our thoughts and prayers...she will be ok though! Keep positive! We can meet tomorrow if you would like...I will call you this afternoon. The replacement part won't be in yet though. Let me know what you want me to do.

Sally- you are probably the only one looking at the snow in a good way! Wish I was you.

Heidi- I am calling Troy today...without Richard knowing...sshhshsh...our little secret.
