Good Morning!

Had a great weekend at Patty's. It was so much fun to be around
other people that are as hyped up about the cruise as I am. I had someone to talk Disney Disney Disney too!! We went shopping in Lubbock and bought stuff for the cruise. Julie (Patty's daughter) bought a beautiful formal for $38 on clearance.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday. I am trying to get back in the swing of things!

Good morning everyone. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a lot of fun on my birthday, but that was the only day I could enjoy. It was a little cold that day, but I was happy I was able to share it with my DBF and his daughters and my family. The rest of the weekend I was sick.

Friday which was supose to be my sunning near the pool day was spent in the trailer under a blanket due to a migraine. Sunday was spent in the trailer laying on the couch running to the bathroom (yes, on my woderful 4-day weekend I got the flu). Monday I came home early, got my car detailed (2 hours later a bird pooped on my nice clean car) and stayed at my DBF house sick and running to the bathroom. Today I am still feeling a little sick, but am trying to make it through. 7up and crackers have been my food for these 3 days.

Denine - I was looking at some of the pictures from towncrier's picnic and I saw a few with you and Jerry and Kaleigh.

Good morning all. Just a few minutes before I get the kids.

Julie, I went back and kind of glanced through the posts again. I saw where you offered pics of the kids. I want one, I want one!!

Heidi, so you were still running yesterday too? Go check for ticks. They were talking about ticks today on channel 2.

I have to run. I probably have 50 or more pages to catch up on on the other thread before I get the kids. Plus, I want to go try and find the pics Heidi was talking about. Could someone send the link to me if they find it, PLEASE?

Hopefully, I will be able to get back on today. My niece and nephew are coming over to play with the kids. Yahoo! Gives me a break but they all four get hyper. That's the down side!

I signed on at 10:30 this morning to find out our agent is showing the house sometime between 11 and noon. I had to go do a few things that I was going to do if we had a showing.

Heidi: Sorry you were sick most of the weekend. Hope you feel better today!

Sandy: Too bad it was cold and windy for your weekend. It was pretty cool here on Saturday. I was back in sweats. It did clear up around 3 PM yesterday, so were were able to go for a walk and cook out.

Gotta go find the thread with the pics!

Hey Denine, I found the pictures. Wow, it looked like you all had a great time. I didn't read the thread. How many of you were there? Did some actually spend the night? Waffles made me think that. Kaliegh is getting so big. It was fun seeing her. Lunch time for the four kids.

Sandy: No, there wasn't actaully a sleepover. For some that stayed in hotels, he has a breakfast Monday morning befor they leave for home.

I actaully didn't count how many there were, at least 20 of us, not including kids. I know one thing, Kaleigh doesn't like low carb! There were some on the atkins diet so ther were some low carb tortilla chips, she spit one out. Some there said Kaleigh had good taste.

I screwed up, the showing is tomorrow morning. I should have looked at the date the e-mail was sent instead of assuming.

The pics I was talking about was a dismeet that Denine went to over the weekend held by Towncrier. There is a thread on the community board that has the pics.

Denine, that is funny about the showing. Hope you didn't wait too long for them to show up before you noticed.

Julie, when we repoured our driveway it was the same exact time of year. We too had to dodge the rain. What a pain it was for the guys! We did the garage floor at the same time.

Heidi - I feel for ya, girlfriend!! I, too, had stomach flu over the weekend. Temp of 102.8, chills, and many visits to the bathroom. Ate a bagel this morning and some pretzels this afternoon. Spent Sunday and Monday in bed. Can't remember having a temp that high in a long, long time! Hopefully, tomorrow I will be back to normal. Hope you will be too!!

Poor, poor Susan. Hope you are feeling much better soon. Heidi ate some dinner tonight. She ran to the store after work and got some gatorade for electrolytes and bananas for potassium. She managed to eat mac and cheese tonight. I think she is on the mend. She doesn't look good but shows improvement. Get well!

Ewwwww, I made my colonoscopy appointment today. I can't believe that I will be sedated and can't drive myself home. And then, I can't do anything at home for the whole day. Ted didn't have to go through all this. Man, it sucks turning 50! I hope and pray that I don't have to have an IV. No one can get one in me except an ansthesiologist. Someone tried 10 times and I am not exagerating when I had my hysterectomy. I finally said that I wanted to see the dr. Boy did he lay into me about that. He said never to allow anyone to try more than a couple of times. Oh well, after it is all done I can look forward to the cruise in Oct!

Saw some pictures of our neighbor in Iraq. It made me feel funny. I can't even describe it. The pics of him holding guns, seeing the palaces, seeing the horrible conditions. It was just different than what you see on TV. Just a weird feeling.

Oh poor Susan. I feel for you!!! I hope you are feeling better. Today I feel a lot better than I did yesterday, but I still don't feel up to par. Hopefully with another good sleep it will all be gone. I woke up this morning with a headache but it seems to have gone away.

Hi all. Fighting a HUGE headache today. It's the weather. The guys doing the driveway were here until 5pm yesterday. They tore out everything: driveway, sidewalk, front walkway to the front door, put a new drain in and wided the drive a foot. Theya re pouring the cement tomorrow or friday. They knew it was suppose to rain on and off last night and today, so they said they wanted to make sure they had two nice days to pour it. They don't like to pour it in the rain and they want at least another dry day after they pour it.


Pictures of the kids have been mailed out today, so everyone look for them in the mail in a few days.

This Board has really quieted down. What's going on?

Work was really awful on Tuesday. If Joyce ever posts she will confirm that fact. They cut the staff to a minimum & there were SOOOOO many deliveries! Today I spent with my mother (who I think has pneumonia), got her a last minute appointment with her Dr. & she refused to get out of bed & go to the Dr. So the Dr. did phone in a cough med. She has regressed to a two year old that won't listen!

The weather is really unpredictable in N.J. The weathermen are predicting more thunderstorms this afternoon.

Getting very excited for vacation on Sunday to Nags Head. Hope you are all doing well. Get HEALTHY! Toodles JEANNE

Hi guys, did my shopping and now I am home. I bought some new finishing products for my hair in hopes it will help with the cruise and humidity. Also, asked about my nails that are yellowing. I never had yellow nails until the acrylics. She said it could even be vitamins or a change in diet. Hope I can turn them around. Anyone have any advice?

Barb, did you see the Pres?? Wasn't today graduation day at the Academy? Wow, did he ever louse up traffic here this morning.

Jeanne, your poor mother! Don't you just hate it when they refuse to go to the dr? They would rather be in self pity.

Julie, I haven't heard from Darren and I haven't seen him on the board either. I am beginning to wonder if he will be on our cruise this Oct. I look forward to getting the pic. Thanks for sharing with you dis family.

The good news is they started digging the basement for the new house today! The lady that came to see the ouse thought it was nice but is going to keep looking. We have only had 3 showings in 2 weeks. I feel like I am trying like crazy to keep this house clean and neat so no one comes. Very frustrating.
