Denine, good news that Hera is healthy! Our cat always hated the car ride too. Never thought about valium!

Went through all the JUNK!! I found a set of dishes of my grandmothers. That was a nice surprise. Also, a kerosene lamp. How in the world do I get rid of a lamp that has kerosene in it? It is OLD so I am having Ted ask the museum for the City.

Just came back from food shopping and don't know where to begin cleaning my house! It is a wreck. If someone came in I think they would call the Police because they would think the house had been ramsacked!:rotfl2:

Zoe is a waterbug. She absolutely loved it! The float worked for a little while but then she wanted to be on her back kicking her feet. We stayed about an hour and a half. She fell asleep in the stroller coming home but still only napped for 30 MINUTES! The girl is just afraid of missing something. Today my back is killing me from lifting her all day yesterday. I AM GETTING OLD!

I can't put it off any longer. I have to start cleaning. Denine we have a much cooler day today too. It is in the 70's. Hope you all have a Tantalizing Thursday. Miss you all :grouphug: Toodles:wave2: :genie: :smickey: :earseek:

Jeanne, Zoe sounds so cute in the water. I need someone to come clean my house. Looks like a disaster.

Can someone clean my house too??!!

Jeanne - wow Zoe is a waterbug. Joey and Tyler may last 30-40 minutes in the pool!! Tyler gets too cold and his lips turn blue!! I felt the same way after carrying (I mean spoiling) Joey for vacation, I just carried her everywhere and then my arms were sore!!!

Okay, I may have to take Chris's car transponder away from him for the toll roads. I just got the statement and noticed he has been using the Toll Road at 7:30 in the morning on Saturdays. I am sure there was not much traffic, so why would he use to toll/HOV lane, especially at 7:30am where there is no Rushhour on the weekend?

This morning is my coworker's husbands funeral, it looks like most of us will be going.

My house is semi-clean. I did a fast house cleaning - polished the tables, clean glass and vacuumed. I did not get on my knees to scrub because I thought I wouldn't be able to get up again!:rotfl2:

HEIDI: Are you spoiling those babies?puckerup: puckerup:

SANDY: You still haven't told us if you decided to get the pink gown. princess: You better get that gown becaue I am really sick of black, black, black.

I really have a day off before work tomorrow and I really don't know what to do with myself. A little too chilly to go to the pool. We are only in the low 70's. Wish my Disney Cruise Family were closer :grouphug:. Hope you all have a Fantastic Friday the 13th. Toodles, JEANNE:genie: :smickey: :earseek:

Speaking of swimming. Here are some of my favorite pictures that were taken while on vacation. They were taken with my mom's digital underwater camera.

BUSTED!! .....Chris and the transponder. Must have been the day that he worked while we were on vacation.

Jeanne, I had to laugh about getting on the knees and scrubbing the floor. Never know when us old ladies might not make it to our feet. LOVE IT!! Oh my, I didn't realize this is Friday the 13th. Now that's not good!

Here is the story of the pink dress. I LOVE IT!! I enticed Heidi to come over and check it out. BUT...she got off work late yesterday. I tried it on for Ted and he really liked it. So, I think I will keep it and Heidi and I can fight over it.

Loved the pictures Heidi.

Mom - It was actually when he was getting the girls, his work car doesn't have the transponder. I can't wait to see the pink dress, sorry I didn't come over last night.

I just got back from the funeral. I was very pleased at how many people from work showed up, there was 25 of us plus my boss that retired last week and a coworker who use to work with us 2 years ago. Mom - Erv came with us so I got to see him...he is doing okay. Poor guy cried through the entire funeral.

Poor Erv. I only met him once but he won my heart like most of you at work. Heidi, the CU was having a BBQ today. It's funny that both of us were going to call and have you meet us and then realized that it was the day of the funeral. Ya, you and I might have to fight over the dress.

Heidi: It was nice that so many of you were able to attend the funeral.

Sandy: You found the dress, it is yours!

Someone at work told me it was Friday the 13th. I didn't even realize. I have most likely lost another resident. He had a massive heart attack and his sister removed him from the vent last night. When the other nurse called this morning, there were only giving him a couple of hours. I'll find out tomorrow.

Cool ,but sunny. Still no rain.

Kalegh's Kindergarten came today. Man was that box heavy. We opened it up and went through everything. Kaleigh was pulling stuff out left and right. We will start in a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow is my 8 hour shift. I have an orientee there the whole time, so it shouldn't be bad.

I keep finding new tomato plants everywhere in my flower beds. I had to pull the latest one out. What am I going to do with all those cherry tomatoes?????????????????????????

Jeanne: Zoe sounds like Kaleigh in the water. She loves it. But, if the water is too cold her lips turn blue.

Heidi: Loved the pictures.

Well, the baseball game dilema has been solved. Our babysitter can't sit that day.

Denine, I can solve your tomato dilemma.....send them to ME!!! I can't get enough tomatoes in me in the summer time. Too bad about your game. I bet Kaleigh is ready to jump right into school NOW! Sorry about your patient. I know it has to be so hard on you guys to see so much death.

Headed out of here soon. Have a great weekend everyone. Not sure when I will have time to post. It will be a crazy weekend. Monday we will find out for sure if this guy is going to buy the house. Cross your fingers!

Julie, Barb, hopefully you will find time to post and tell us that you are ok.

Hugs to all.

It's funny you would have the tomato topic today since I went out to find a "Jersey" tomato. I heard on the radio that the Jersey corn and tomatoes were out but haven't seen any in the stores so I went to Stella's Farm and bought some "Jersey" tomatoes. There is really nothing like a Jersey tomato. It has something to do with the sandy soil and when my cousin moved to Florida she took some soil with her to grow tomatoes.

HEIDI: Loved the pictures of the twins.

SANDY: So glad you will be wearing the pink gown princess:

DENINE: I can't believe you home school :teacher:. I give you so much credit for doing home schooling. So sorry to read about your patient.

Sorry I reminded you all it was Friday the 13th, but since I was born on the 13th and sometimes it falls on a Friday, I am not superstitious about the number. Hope you all have a Wonderful Weekend. I am off to work... Toodles:genie: :smickey: :mickeyjum :earsgirl: JEANNE

Hi guys! Sorry to MIA, with Garry working, my grandmother up from Florida, AnnaMarie coming and going, soccer sign ups, Police wives meeting, making arrangements for the Police picnic, going a graduation party, going to Cedar Point this past monday, etc... I haven't posted.

Heidi, loved the pictures of the kids in the pool. My kids are complete COMPLETE water lovers. Our pool is up and running (after several several set backs.... filter broke, skimmer cracked, hoses needed to get replaced...etc... need I go on?) the kids can't get enough of the water!! Of course we have the buildings that they are knocking down at the end of the street with all the dust and debrie, the pool water looks a little cloudy, but the pool people say the water is fine and the chemicals are right on target so I guess we can live with it until all the dust gets out of the air. IF it would rain, it would make it better, but that's not gonna happen for awhile.

Sandy, I want to see a picture of this pink dress. Have Heidi take a picture of you in it and post it for us!

Jeanne, glad you are back and posting!!!!! I loved your posts about Zoe. How's Joyce and Bonnie doing? We miss hearing about all of you! Like I said before I am SOOOOOOOOOO GLAD you are posting again!!!!

Denine, we have an Indian's game this sunday. The 28th, we have a DUI check point that night, so we will have to hear about the game when we get home. So when are going to start school with Kaleigh? We don't start school here until the end of Aug. You could send your tomatos plants here! LOL! I haven't gotten around to planting ANYTHING around here this year.

Hi Barb!! Are you hiding from us? LOL!!

Stacy, loved the pictures! Your kids are getting so big!! Sorry I didn't get back to you about the gifts for your employees. What did you get them by the way?

Oh yeah........ Who's watching Big Brother???? I don't like that Jen!!!!

Well, gonna go. I'll be back, I promise.

TTFN

We might get rain tonight. I'll believe it when I see it.

Julie: Since you posted, maybe things are calming down at your house just a wee bit! We will be watching the game on the 28th at home since Jen can't babysit. It is '80's night at the Akron Aeros game. She is going to sit onthe 4th for us.

Jeanne: I am so excited to teach Kaleigh to read! This program is 3 hours per day and is very oriented to learning to read. You should see how many books there are! Right now I am a little daunted at doing school 3 hours a day for 9 months or more (we may only do it 4 days a week with my work schedule).

Julie: We are probably going to start school the 24th or 25th of July. I want to be on track by the first of the year since we have our trip in October and December, plus I take the week before Christmas. So I decided to start a month early.

I am sooooo tired right now. Kaleigh woke up crying at 2 AM and I spent a 1/2 hour with her. Jerry figured out she was upset about me working all day today. We promised her they would bring me lunch and then after that it wouldn't be much longer. She didn't want to leave when lunch was over. But, I didn't fall back to sleep. I had a busy day at work. I talked to a new residents family for almost an hour and then had to chart it all. We were going to go to chuch when I got home, but that didn't happen. I took a nap, but I feel wiped. It has been 3 years since I worked an 8 hour shift. I can't imagine doing a 12 anymore!

Sandy: Enjoy your weekend! Hopefully the house will sell come MOnday and you will have 1 less thing to worry about.

Barb: Come out, come out where ever you are!!!!!!!

Tomatoes: I have 6 or 7 cherry tomato plants and I only planted 2! The others have popped up from last years plant. Come help yourself Julie. They just aren't rip yet, but when they start.....

Jeanne: There is nothing better than homegrown (local) produce period. I can't wait for sweetcorn, yummy! I think everyone brags about their states' tomatoes. All I know is local produce is better than shipped in stuff.

Kaleigh is due in soon. Even though she didn't want me to go to work, she has been out playing since 3 PM and it is now just about 7 PM. I am sure I will have to give her a bath and I don't want to.

Thought I would stop in for a quick minute. Tough & busy week last week. Spent all day today at a Disney scrap book class with my Mom. Bob and I are getting ready to go out for date night. Going to see a movie not sure what we have seen just about everything that is out. Friday was Missy's birthday so we went out to dinner last night.

Heidi-Very cute pictures. The pool looks really nice.

Denine- YAY school stuff. Kaleigh is really going to be on you to start now.

Julie-How fun to have a pool in your back yard.

Sandy-Pink dress sounds nice.

Hope you all have a good Sunday

Yeah, Barb posted!

Well, Jerry was up at 3 AM to get our Palo ressies. We got everything we wanted including high tea. We are actually going to go this time. We cancelled last year.

Hopefully a lazy Sunday.

It never rained.

Until tomorrow.

Hi guys, back from the campground. Went to my nieces birthday party. Went to Ted's dads house where we accidentally bumped into the daughter of the guy buying the house. He just got in from Australia. He looked over the house and said it was pretty much a done deal. We will meet with him tomorrow for whatever reason. He wants to close in Aug. LOVE, LOVE the man buying it. He is a spitting image of Ted's dad. All the way down to a scientist that likes to hoard maps and anything else. In fact, they knew each other. I told Ted that his dad would be so pleased. His 29 year old daughter is so excited that she had a picnic out on a patio that is away from the house that has a great view. She is adorable. So giddy over everything. We think they are going to use this HUGE house just for his office and to store his junk. He told us that we don't even need to clear out any of the junk left. HAPPY US!! We were going to do that tomorrow.

Nice to see Barb posted.:)

DENINE: The things we do for Disney:mickeyjum :sail:. I love the High Tea. I think it is a really nice, relaxing thing to do on the cruise.

SANDY: So glad everything is working out well with the house. It sounds like Ted's Dad would approve.

Nothing planned for today. I am going to TRY to get a manicure sometime today. It is REALLY hot :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: and humid today. I had a great weekend at work. It was VERY slow. Hope you all had a great weekend. Have a Marvelous Monday. Miss you all :grouphug: Can you feel the love? Toodles, JEANNE:genie: :smickey: :earsgirl:

Yay, glad Barb posted. What movie did you end up seeing?

Denine - I would take the tomatoes off your hands too!!! I LOVE tomatoes. Chris and I grew grape tomatoes this year and they turned out great. We can't wait to buy a house to have our own garden.

Julie - Busy busy girl!! Glad you could post, we miss you when you don't.

Jeanne - My sister's anniversary is on the 13th so one of these days it will fall on Friday the 13th!! I am not superstitious so Friday the 13th doesn't bother me.
