Hi guys! I'm here! Makenzie had a field trip today to the Natural History museum today that I went on. We were in the planatarium looking at stars. It was very cool. It was my first trip to that part of the museum. We also got a chance to see "Sue" the largest "full" skeleton of a T REX. It is on display at our museum until I think March. Brooke stayed with my brother and The Big Guy went to his friends Jacob's house and then his mother took them to kindergarten. OH Yeah, our hot water tank "died" last night. I had four huge pots of water boiling this morning so Garry could take a warm bath and clean up for work. I took the easy way out and went over to my mom's at 7:30am to take a shower there. The plumber I called came this afternoon and replaced the thermal couple and now we have hot water!!!!!! Thank goodness we didn't have to buy a new tank since he told me that if it was the thermostat that it would be cheaper to buy a whole new tank since the tank is 8 yrs old and the thermostat would be half the cost of a new tank anyways... so that was good news.

Garry works tomorrow and then is off until next tuesday, BUT next monday night we have to go to the council meeting because there are swearing in a new sergeant and a second captain since Garry has been doing the job of the two captain's since he got promoted. So at least he will have some paperwork relief.

Heidi, Stacy and Sandy,I promise to post more often. Lately I haven't even gotten a chance to read the boards and lurk!!!

Well, have several gifts bought for the kids. I tookt he easy way and bought gifts on line. I have to go through and see what all I have and what else I have to get. I'm doing better then last year with the gift thing!! I THINK Garry and I are going to buy each other a plasma HDTV for our Christmas present this year. But not sure yet. I know he wants a HDTV, but not sure if plasma is the way to go. Any thoughts???

I have to go get Anna Marie tomorrow and then Thursday we will be going to my brother's house. Next year, the family comes here.

Well, gotta go. I'll be back either later today or tomorrow!!

YAHOO!!! Julie posted. I loved reading your post. First of all, plasma. Ted and I just bought a new 61" HDTV. We weighed all of our options. If we had lots of money, I would have bought a LCD. If we didn't live in CO, then plasma would have been my next option. We ended up with rear projection. Plasma doesn't work real good in CO due to the elevation. I believe the altitude of 6000 ft starts to affect it. Sorry about your water heater. Isn't it great to be a homeowner? I had never been to a planatarium either until our girls started school. With the swearing in of a new Captain maybe Garry can relax a little.

WOO HOO!! I just finished my Christmas Cards. Now all I have to do is wrap, mail gifts, make peanut brittle, party mix, decorate..... Does it ever end??

Julie - to be honest I am hoping that my hot water tank goes out so I can get a bigger one!!!! I was spoiled and had unlimited hot water at my parents house and my hot water tank right now is barely cutting it for me!!!! I love HOT HOT HOT showers, I know it is horrible for my skin but I can't help myself. Regarding TV's - if I lived where you lived and cannot afford an LCD, I would get a plasma. My mom is correct that elevation of 6,000 feet or more will ruin a plasma TV and may last 3 years. Not worth the $$ to buy one for 3 years in CO!!!!

Good Morning!

I will only be at work until 10:00 today. I have lot to do and it is my birthday so I figure I am entitled!

We bought Ethan the Power Wheels Mustang last night from Santa. It is SOOOOOO CUTE! Now we are a 4 Mustang family!! My poor house though!

Only 155 More days until I leave for DISNEY!!! YIPEEEEE!! Want to hear something really mean?? Well my Mom knows how sad I am that we had to cancel our trip to Disney for Hawaii right? Well yesterday she sends me this email about what Disney has planned for their Christmas celebration. Mickey, story telling, parades, tree lighting..... Now I ask you was that nice!!!!

Last night I went to use my computer and Bob was running some virus check on it from a disk he brought home from work. It runs for over an hour then the computer freezes up. My computer no longer knows it is a computer. I was ready to wring his neck for crashing the computer then he looks at me with sad eyes and says "I thought I was doing something good" GRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr How can I be mad at that. He is robbing me of a good "MAD "

Now I ask you, I was only giving Barb something to look forward to next year and she says I am being mean.......well, she is getting older so she probably isn't thinking as clear as she use too.

Her dad talked to Bob this morning and told him not to worry....he can fix it so good thing she didn't get mad....he is such a sweet guy, I don't understand how she can get mad at him for anything.

Yesterday I couldn't walk on my foot...it felt like a bone on the top was broken and this morning it feels pretty good. But I wasted a whole day just limping around trying to get something done. Did get my formals packed...that's it. May have to wear them on the ship and land all the time if I don't get something else packed. Of course I can tell everyone I am royality and that is my normal dress but of course Barb will be with me and she has a big mouth...now we are ever for the being mean remark

So, how many errors did you all count in my last post?

My head is feeling better. The pie is in the oven and the muffins are out.

I didn't even have any vicodin today to write that badly!

Julie: If you read this tonight, I received the wine catalog in the mail today. I circled the ones we ordered and marked the one's we tasted. I am going to put it in your mailbox tomorrow since we will be over there at Jerry's mom's in the afternoon. I ordered 2 more bottles after looking at it again.

Wine It was a flop! It would have been better if Julie would have been able to come, but things happened and she didn't make it. Another person was supposed to bring her boyfriend and he was too busy watching the football game. I had 1 couple cancel the day before. My friend Judy came, but didn't order any wine. We didn't even make the $200 minimum order for the party. The hostess would like me to do it again in maybe January or February, but I don't know. The real wine drinkers we know couldn't make it to this party. I just don't want to get burned again.

Injection: I sure hope this helps. It was interesting to watch the preparations. There was one other person there having it done too. The owrst part is always getting the local anesthetic. It always burns. The docotr told me I would be pretty sore for about 2 days, but I find they always exagerate, but, he gave me a script for vicodin. I popped one as soon as I got home. WHen I got out of the car, it felt like someone had kicked me with a steel toed boot right there. OUCH! Plus it felt like it was being stretched everytime I moved. I was on ice most of the day. Not to mention the headache that woke me up in the wee hours yesterday morning. I was also itching in the night from the vicodin. I forgot it did that to me. I go back to the doc in 2 weeks. If it didn't work, I don't know where we go.

Wine part deux: We had received a promotion in the mail to get 6 bottles of wine for $40, no strings attached. We received those 6 bottles today. I like getting wine in the mail! There are no strings. You can join their wine club or even just order more wine. Of course, it won't be for that price though. Or, you can just drink your 6 bottles and go on with life.
