October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Wow! Where is everyone?

This morning I paged the "emergency" beeper for the dentist one more time (6 total) no response for an hour so off to the ER...I was very apologetic to the ER doc and explained my blight...of course when he looked at it he said "Ewww". I got my antibiotic and he insisted on giving me percocet RX for the pain. I told him I didn't need that, he just didn't understand my tolerance for pain I guess. I took 1/2 to see if it helps me sleep.

Well...2005 is around the corner. I told Glenn that I am due for a better Christmas next year.

Sandy...sounds like a nice relaxing day. I really want to see that movie.

Bonnie: I am glad you finally got an ATB. Too bad you had to go to the ER to get it though.

I am trying to type with Kaleigh sitting on my lap. I it Isn't easy!

Jeanne: Work will be fine tomorrow. I had a good day today.

Bonnie, sorry you had to go to the ER but at least you have been taken care of. I hate to be the dentist when you give him a piece of your mind! At least I am hoping you do that!!

Jeanne, can't believe you saw the movie too. I swear we laughed the whole time. I thought that it was better than the first. Ted and Heidi didn't agree with me tho.

Denine, sounds like you had a nice Christmas as well. We got up early and did the 50% or more shopping too. Hardly anyone out early today. Was very pleasantly surprised. Ted and I just got back from Target because I wanted to check it out one more time. Tons of stuff sold so obviously that had some shoppers after us. Went to Kohl's, Mervyns, Disney Store, Bath and Bodyworks, Home Depot. Probably left some out. Tomorrow will be Foleys and Dillards. Dillards told me to wait until the New Year to try for some long dresses for the cruise.

Speaking of dresses, is the next cruise April of 2006? Or 2007? I am hoping 2007 cuz we will never be able to save enough from Aug 2005 to April 2006. Just was thinking about that tonight. Guess I better get with Faith on that one. It is her birthday so she would know! lol

Bonnie, glad you got your drugs! I would love to be a fly on the wall when you get a hold of your dentist!!! Doesn't he know who he is dealing with?

So, what is everyone doing for New Years? Garry is working AGAIN so it will be me home with the kids (who will be asleep when the new year hits, oh well!) Garry gets to spend his New Year with drunks!

Well, gonna go! I'll check back in tomorrow!

I can finally say I am a little better. The fever has finally broken but the body aches, coughing and congestion continue. And the headache! Paul is still in the fever stage. Turner now is in the fever stage and he has added throwing up to his list of symptoms. I guess I am in the best shape now so I get to feed Stanley and take him out. He can't figure out why we are all staying in bed all day. Abby loves it she goes from one warm body to the next to curl up.

Bonnie, glad you got your AB. I hate that your dentist didn't call you back. When I called my doctor's emergency number they called back in 45 minutes and said to go to the ER.

Glad the rest of you had a good Christmas.

Denine: I would have loved to have seen Kaleigh's face too. Kids on Christmas morning - priceless!

Enough for now. I'm heading back to bed.
Later!

Poor Susan, Paul and Turner. Just not a good Christmas. Hope New Year won't be as bad!

Denine, I agree with Susan. Kaleigh's expressions had to be priceless. I love little ones at Christmas!

Julie, don't worry. I will ring in the New Year YOUR way. Snoring! Just don't do the celebrating like before. I don't like to share the roads with the drunks. We will eat out early around 3 or 4 and then head home to a warm house. Go to bed around 10 and wake up at midnight from the neighbors lighting firecrackers. Drives me nuts!

Just got a new "toy" yesterday at Kohls. It is an atomic clock that projects the time on the wall or ceiling. It runs from electricity or battery. Thought that we might need it on the next cruise as we will be in an inside stateroom and they are so dark. Thought that this could serve as a twofold purpose. One for the time in the dark and two for a night light to go potty in the dark. (that's for ME)

Wonder how Bonnie is doing.

Heidi and I were out all day today returning what we bought yesterday. lol We are tired and it is time for a shower.

I did horrible over the holidays. Definitely GAINED weight. Knew I would but honestly I wasn't upset. I kind of watched but not really. Now it is back to being SERIOUS. Heidi is going to start in again too. (like she really needs too)

Tired today, but at least not sick. What a rotten way to spend Christmas. Hope the New Year is better.

Managed to get the calandars ready for the new year. I put in all the birthdays, anniversaries, etc.. on 3 of them.

I also got some recipes typed into the computer, took a nap and did the treadmill.

Jerry was off today and did some cleaning and watching Kaleigh for me. He goes back to work tomorrow and then is working from home on Wednesday so I can go to work.

I go to the dentist next week for a cleaning. I hate the dentist!

Nothing else going on here.

Boy the Scroll household really got it good!! Send Stanley up here, I'll take care of him! My mom knew I wanted a dog so she got me a mechanical one that walks and barks...very funny mom!

Swelling is decreasing. Boy ! I took a percocet and feel like I had 2 Bushwakers!

Here is the latest stab from my son...they refused the Christmas presents I got for Olivia. Stating the the riff is between him and me and I can go over anytime to see Olivia and Melinda. Funny...he respected me before he met her. Why can't she bring her over here? And I don't even know where they live now! Great way to make amends with mom huh? If he has learned anything from being married it is how to really hurt his mother. Really, really, really hurting here. Where did I ever go wrong? All I wanted was a little respect. I guess I'm just not good enough anymore. Haven't been for a few years now.

Well off to bed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BEN MEDINA!! :bday: :cake:

Bonnie, I'm so sorry to hear about your ungrateful son! He is sooooooo lucky that I don't have his number or live near by!! I wish there was something I could do or say to make the hurt go away. There is no reason for him to treat you that way!! He is missing out on a whole bunch!!! So is Olivia! I'd call Melinda and tell her that you will be picking up YOUR granddaughter and go do just that. You shouldn't miss out on Olivia and she needs her grandmother!!! The grandmother who is the best grandmother she'll ever have!!! Just remember, you ARE a very special person and we are proud to be your family! Your son will realize someday what he has done and what he has missed out on. He really is a piece of work! I would definitely go and get Olivia! Whatever happens just remember that your disney family loves you very much and MY CHILDREN love you and like to spend time with you! They look at the pictures of the cruise and they still know who you are (as well as Jeanne and Susan and Sandy) and want to know when we are going to see all of you again! You can have my children as your adoptive grand babies! They would love that!!!

Susan, so sorry to hear that your house is so under the weather! You guys got hit but good! If I lived by I would comeover and take care of you guys! Send pixie dust to my Turner and I hope he feels better soon! Same goes for Paul and you. Let's just hope that you don't get it again!!

Sandy, I wouldn't worry about the weight gain. Once the first of the year comes, you can start kicking butt again with the weight loss. You have been doing a GREAT job! Keep it up! A little holiday weight gain I think is expected and nothing to worry about too much! You da woman!!! I know you will get back into the weight loss and really be surprised as to how fast you begin to loose. AND Heidi...... does she want to be a size -1???

Denine, I completely understand about Kaleigh's face. Brooke was really into opening presents! I thougth that she might so an interest in one gift, but she was into all her presents.

I'm a little hurting right now and will probably go see the doctor tomorrow. I fell on some ice Christmas eve (not hard at all, like a graceful sitting) but whatever I did, screwed up my back. I have never been is so much back pain!!! I thought that it would get better, but it isn't. On top of that, the Big Guy keeps saying that his foot hurts and is limping and won't put any wieght on it. He is getting better, but since Christmas day, he has been crawling on his knees or scooting on his butt to get to one place to another. Yesterday he has started to walk, but putting as little weight on it so I guess he'll be going to the doctor's too tomorrow. I thought he might have twisted his ankle, but I think if he did that he should be able to walk on it better then what he is doing. So that is the "sick report" from the Lauter household! Boy, we all need a much better 2005 then what 2004 is ending with!

Will stop back in later!

Happy late Merry Christmas!!! Finally back at work, 3 days of work and have another 3 days weekend!!! Christmas was good, got spoiled!!! I liked meet the Fockers, it was funny but didn't think it was as good as the first one. This weekend I also saw Ocean's 12....BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I loved Oceans 11 and I guess that was why I was so dissapointed because I was hoping Oceans 12 was just as good. My advice is wait to rent it, don't pay theatre prices to go see it.

Geesh, I can't believe how many of you are hurting....Susan, Bonnie and now Julie. You gals need to get feeling better.

Susan I hope you are feeling better, any updates today on how you are feeling. That is such a bummer that you and your family had to spend Christmas that way.

Bonnie - I am sorry about your son and DIL. I wish they were better to you, they don't know what they are missing. You are such a great person. I agree with Julie, I think you need to pick up Olivia and have a day to yourselves. That will show them that Olivia needs you. If you take that first step, maybe they will realize and take a step forward too.

I had lots of fun shopping and bought many things I didn't need!!! Well I guess I should get to work.

I hope Kristy, Faith, Michael, and Eugene had a good Christmas. We need to get Faith and Kristy posting again.

Everyone feel better. Less than a week away and we will be on our way to starting a new year. Lets make it a good start to the year.

Bonnie: I ditto what Julie said! Glad your mouth is feeling a bit better.

How are the sickies in NC doing? I hope better. Chicken soup for you guys.

Kaleigh was being an awful crab and misbehaving, so she went for a nap early.

Julie: I hope you and the Big Guy feel better.

Heidi: movie? whats that?

:Pinkbounc Good morning everyone.

Bonnie, your post was so depressing to read. I ditto everything that everyone here had to say. I really feel for you. I hope that you make the first move to pick up Olivia and prove to them that YOU are a better person. Holding grudges just isn't good for anyone and only hurts precious Olivia.

Julie, sorry to hear about you and the Big Guy. Talking from experience, back pain is certainly NOT fun. It takes a long time to mend. Hang in there. I never really got to talk to you about the Big Guy and Jiminy Crickett. I was shocked that he chose Jiminy. How did that happen?

Denine, my goal is to get the calendars ready as well. For some reason I hate that chore. Crazy! This is the first year for a very long time that I don't have a WDW calendar. Poor me!

Thinking of you Susan and hoping the family is on the mends!

Happy Birthday to BEN! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Woo hoo! I just booked a romantic weekend away for me and Jerry!!!!!!!

We are desperate. Kaleigh will be dropped off at her godmother's house. I was going to surprise Jerry, but I couldn't spend the money without telling him first. I just didn't give him all the details.

It will be toward the end of January. :lovestruc

Denine - Romatic weekend huh? Whats the plans? Sounds like a lot of fun.

A little better news from us. We at least stayed out of bed part of the day today and ate something. I think the worst is over but we still feel just wiped out. I hope none of you get this. I haven't felt this bad in a long time. Even that bad bought of bronchitis 2 years ago wasn't a wicked as this; it just lasted longer. I even did 2 loads of laundry today.

Thanks for all the well wishes. They have meant a lot. I am hoping this means we are just getting the bad stuff out of the way in 2004 and can really enjoy 2005.

If the race is on tonight, I may even get a chance to see an episode.

Denine - great idea for a romantic getaway. You guys deserve it.

Miss you all!

Later!

I feel "beat up" after work today. Every patient was a C-Section (all trying to get that tax deduction for 2004) not enough staff but two managers & two assistants standing around!

SCHROLL'S: Hope you are well on the road to recovery. :moped:

BONNIE: Hang in there. You are loved :grouphug: .

SANDY: I'm with you, I thought "Meet the Fockers" was better than "Meet the Parents". We must have a warped sense of humor.

DENINE: Romance is in the air   .

JULIE: I hope your back is better - nothing worse then a backache (except Bonnie's toothache).

Tomorrow is my son's 23rd birthday & we are having a dinner party at my house & I am meeting my son's fiancee Diana's parents for the first time. I asked my son what he wanted me to make for dinner & he said "my favorite lasagne" but what you all don't know is that his favorite lasagne is Hamburger Helper Lasagne! I said I can't make that. So now I am going to make shrimp with garlic & oil & hamburger helper lasagne.

Working on New Year's Eve & flying to California New Year's Day. Does any one have exciting plans for New Year's Eve? Hope you all have a great night & week. Toodles  :earsgirl: JEANNE

Jeanne - Now that is too funny, his favorite lasagna is Hamburger Helper...LOL.

Glad to see Susan post again and the Schroll family is on their way to recovery. You guys got hit pretty hard. I had a stomach ache last night but thought it was because of the migraine I had, but today the migraine has left and the stomach ache stayed.

Susan - hope you got to watch AR last night, it gave a good recap of what happened.

No NYE plans for me. I am boring this year!!! We will probably go to dinner and a movie.

Good Morning!!

I have been trying to post for a couple of days but get about half way done and get distracted.

Hope everyone is feeling better, what a miserable way to spend Christmas.

Our Christmas was pretty quiet. Jason and Michelle left about noon to spend the rest of the day with her family. Man I hate the "Share the Holidays" thing. But the girls were there all day. Next year I want to be in Disney!

Bob left on Monday. I sure miss him this time. I don't think it has ever been this hard before. I guess it is because of the Holidays, but I am already 3 days into it.

Bonnie sorry to hear that thing are challenging between you and your son. I hope things work out.

Better go before I don't get this one posted either
