Sandy, at the very bottom of the thread, you can change your color scheme. It can be Happy Holidays, Serenity Green, Orlando Blue, etc. I like the Orlando Blue.

Turner's school won their basketball game 20 - 4. Not a very high scoring game but it was fun. We then went to a hockey game for the local minor league team. They lost and the game was bad. Oh well. At least I wasn't home doing laundry. That will be my task for tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Later!

Good Sunday Morning

Barb and I spent yesterday looking at houses. We went to one craftshow, had lunch and then went to see a 3 million dollar house. You could have several families living in it and never see each other. I loved the way they decorated it. Where do they find the things they use? Not in any furniture store I have ever been in.

Then we just looked at different model in different locations.....it was fun but got very cold when the sun went down.

I did get my 3 lighted deer and sleigh out in the front yard....it was so nice I should have stayed home and decorated. Hopefully it will be warm again today.

Thanks Susan! I will have to change colors. Never knew I could do that! Today is laundry day for me as well. Ick!

I can't get Ted in here to look at the computer. He is doing everything but that! I want to get this room cleaned up. It has papers strewn all over from tech supports and programs and anything in between trying to get this problem fixed. What would be a good bribery? lol

Had a nice talk with Bonnie last night. She hasn't even been on to lurk but she promised me she would get caught up. We miss her. None of the dudettes are represented here.

Sally, it is nice up here again. Suppose to get cold again however. Sounds like you had a fun day. We did too. It was even nice up in Central City.

I didn't know you could change colors either. I like the red and green.

We mostly have the tree up. We have to finish the decorations.

Had another good day at work. It is so nice to get out of the house and get paid for it.

Sue: You are much braver than I am. I will never have lasik or another other procedure to improve my eyesight. My eye doctor said not to do it any way. My eyes are so bad that I would still have to wear glasses. Hang in there with another busy week.

Sandy: I hope your computer is an easy fix! Enjoy the mountains.

Sally: I have never been in a $3 million dollar house. Sounds like you had a fun day. My open house looking is done for now!

Nothing else going on here.

Why is it the laundry never seems to be caught up no matter how many loads I do? You would think we were a family of 5 or 6!

We had a nice dinner tonight - bacon wrapped filet mignon. It was really good. We deserved a nice dinner since we had a day we could stay at home.

Turner has 2 tests tomorrow so we are in study mode. I just wanted to take a few minutes to log on and say hello.

Later!

Didn't do much today.....went to church, then to lunch with the music minister and his wife, then shopping at Kirklands. Has anyone see the cute Santa and Snowman stocking holder with the stocking to match. They are big and look like wood.....they had them on sale for $l0 each. I love to go to Kirklands....of course Santa and the snowman had to come home with me.

I watched the Bronco game on and off.....I think they have done it this time...2 games out of first.

Bedtime.....night everyone

Wow, Ididn't know you could change the colors...that is so cool.

Julie - I love American Idol. I didn't really watch the first season, but I have watched the other two. I was a Clay fan too, but I love Reuben...I always get nervous watching him perform because he sweats so much and he is such a big guy.

Susan - Turner plays basketball also, wow your family never stops!!! That is a big point difference in the score!!!

Barb/Sally - My mom and I love looking at model homes, they are so much fun to go through. Where did you look at a 3 million dollar house at? I like to go to Bell Mountain (I think thats the name of the development) in Castle Rock. They have million dollar homes in there. I could only dream to afford a house like that!!!!

Denine - thanks for the recipe!!!

Well I got my way and we put up our tree. It was a lot of fun, I like seeing all the Disney decorations on it, but personally what I think makes the tree is my Captain Mickey ornament!!!!

Good Morning!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I got the house cleaned, and all caught up. Phew! Bob had to work.

Bob leaves for Germany for a month on December 29. I already see me being depressed on Christmas and New Years. :guilty: Jaymee, Tiffany and Amanda all have birthday while he is gone. I am thinking of taking the girls to Denver to spend the night and do something fun as a special birthday treat.

I agree with you not all people from Colorado are strange, take us for example!

Barb :earboy2:

Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, yummy!

We finished putting the tree up last night. I think it turned out rather nice. We put the little fiber optic one in the office. I started to put up my very small village today. I have a couple more things to put out and then on to wrapping and baking.

Heidi: Enjoy the soup!

Barb: Taking the girls to Denver for a special day sounds like a grand idea. At least Bob will be home for Christmas.

You can do alot in Denver. In the winter time for a special little treat (if you can afford it) is to take the horse-drawn carriage at night on the 16th street mall with all the buildings lit up...it's kind of expensive but cool.

Just dropping in to say "Hi" at work. Joyce is downstairs today & I am up (I think they are trying to separate us because we are BAD together).

I will have computer :badpc: access tomorrow. YEAH! :cheer2: I promise to catch up on all the postings!

Toodles  :earboy2: JEANNE

Wow, is this green or what? The board decided to change me on its own. Love it.

Nothing really to report on. Made lots of gift decisions today. Feeling better and better. Not weight tho. Man, I gained .8. I just can't believe what is going on. I am being good. Tonight is orange roughy. Mmmmm.

Barb, love your idea of coming to Denver. Just a little bit away from home is fun. Ted and I used to do it before the girls. Co Spgs was our destination.

Denine, want to wrap and bake for me?? That is high on my priority list now. I hide gifts in my closet and now I can't even walk in to it.

Sally, I love Kirkland. Everything is so reasonable and cute.

Susan, I missed your huge post somehow yesterday. The board must have slipped up. I forgot that you are headed to FL. Wish it was me. I loved it last year. I was just reminising with Bonnie on Saturday.

Heidi, your Capt. Mickey definitely makes the tree. I love him and where you put him. Too bad I won't take mine out of the curio cabinet! We need more. Too bad the price went up!

Doggone it. Time to cook dinner. Always something. Tomorrow is the day Jeanne is having comcast out. Maybe she will post. Now if only Bonnie would!

Good morning, everyone. My Christmas cards are going in the mail today!!! One more thing accomplished! My gift exchange went in the mail yesterday. So, when are we opening???

Have a great day!
Later!

Mom your post made me laugh...Jeanne posted right before you!!!!

Susan - Now it's our turn to hide in your suitcase so that we can go to Florida with you!!!

Nothing new here, very busy at work and had to stay 2 hours overtime yesterday...hopefully it is a little slower today!!

Good morning everyone.....

My tree is up in front of the window and santa is standing by it but no ornaments on it yet, just lights. I went shopping in the afternoon and got a tree made out of red ornaments for the dining room table...I had bought two gold tree last year that will go by it on my red tablecloth...need a table runner of green to go under it.

I have talked Dick into going to the mall to walk this morning....don't think I will be able to walk very long but at least it will get him started. My ankle is doing much better as long as I don't walk continually on it.

I have my gift exchange ready to mail today but haven't started my cards yet. It is the 7th already.....

Good morning everyone,

Heidi. I think that something is going on here with the posts as I wasn't able to read Susan's long post a couple of days ago BEFORE I posted and then the Jeanne's post incident. Honestly, I haven't lost my mind. However, ginko biloba is not a bad idea. I always check down below before I hit "submit". So there...... :earboy2:

Sally, your table sounds so beautiful. Don't push that ankle too much.

Susan, doesn't it feel good to get all these Christmas chores over? Thought that I would start wrapping when Graci is sleeping.

Hey, anyone know how I can get a certain 24 year old daughter of mine to quit buying things for HERSELF? Last night she came home with two movies that I had bought her for Christmas. Come to find out Chris had bought them for her as well. Come on guys, scold her. We are all moms here except the BAD child.

Jeanne, I just have one question. What took them soooo long to separate you and Joyce? We all know that you two together are BAD.

Gotta run and go get Graci. Have a wonderful day. Will check back in later.

I really think I was not meant to have the computer back because in the middle of the service tech. being here the electric went out :badpc:. He leaves me instructions of how to finish installation , of course, in the middle of installing a message comes up "system error" :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: now I have to call back & they say they can't fix it because the WORK ORDER is still out but finally I called got it straightened out & here I am!!!!!!!!

Hope everybody is ready for the holidays. Joyce & I are going to Radio City Music Hall tomorrow on a bus trip to see the Christmas Show & walk around New York City. It's too bad Bonnie has to work for a living

I am waiting for my NEW range to be delivered. My son Teddy bought me a flat top range. My range was probably 30+ years old. It was harvest gold until I spray painted it white!

I missed so much being on this board. It felt like I hadn't talked to my "family" :grouphug: So I really am back (I hope). Toodles :wave2: ::MickeyMo JEANNE

Yeah! Jeanne is back! You will love your flat top range. It is sooooo easy to clean. Just make sure you use the special cleaner. You should get a sample. Going to NYC to see the Christmas show sounds really nice.

It is really windy right now. We have had so many excessively windy days lately. Last week it was so windy , that the Christmas tree downtown snapped. They had to replace it. I am afraid we will end up with a blizzard this year. We haven't had one in several years, and that year, we had 2 of them.

Heidi: DOn't you know you aren't supposed to be buying things for yourself this time fo year??????????

I started wrapping presents last night. I will start baking next week. I did make Kaleigh some bar cookies today with banana and pineapple in them. (Sneaky mommy trying to get DD to eat fruit).

Sally: I'd buy the stores out of Christmas decorations if I had the money and no one to ruin them. Hera already broke 1 ornament. At least it wasn't anything good.

I finally got Kaleigh to play in her room by herself for the 1st time since we left on vacation. Unfortunately, she found crayons that I didn't know were in her closet and drew on the wall. At least they are washable and I have my magic erasers. She was so proud of herself "I colored" that I couldn't be mad at her.

Sally, Sandy: What is Kirkland?

Nothing else going on here.

You can't possibly be talking about me, it must be Stacey!! :earboy2: Okay it was me, but I didn't realize I told people that I wanted that movie!!

For all you fellow Reality Show junkies, High School Reunion starts tonight..if anyone wants to join me in watching this show!!!

Welcome back Jeanne. We missed you, now we need Bonnie to rejoin us. :grouphug:
