Happy Easter everyone!

Sandy: I have won a couple of towel bars, including the one I really wanted. Now I am trying for a vintage toilet paper holder for the powder room. I didn't realize how much those things went for.

Took Kaleigh to church this morning, that was fun

Kaleigh enjoyed her basket of M&M's and Fisher Price amusement park toy. We are going to Jerry's parent later.

I so enjoyed my day yesterday! It went so fast!

Easter is over at our house. It went over pretty good. The house is still intact so that is always good.

Gee Denine, if I knew the Easter bunny gave out M&M's at your house, I would have put out a basket for me!! Actually, Heidi gave me a Mickey Mouse Easter basket from the Disney store and put in M&M's. My favorite! Ted got Buzz Lightyear and we gave Heidi a Pooh one.

OK...where to start...

Barb-If you had remembered the wine party you would remember the secret veranda!!! It is on deck 7 in the rear of the ship...you can see it from Topsider's.

Sandy-Buffalo Mozzerella...I guess it comes from a Buffalo not a cow???

Susan-hang in there, just remember Abby is in a good place...no more suffering. Facial sounds like a good healer to me!! If you like I can send Perditta down for a bit...the witch cat! Actually very loving but needs constant attention. She's the princess in the house. Who said cats are very independent?

Easter was OK...took mom out to Outback for dinner. I was bad and had coconut shrimp appetizer. I ate the whole thing!! My mom won't eat shrimp. I have maintained the weight loss which is good considering I pigged out on Friday...those ladies on my floor have a party for anything!
Anyway brought my harp over to mom's so she could hear my progress...wrong thing to do. Didn't say gee your sounding good...naw! My mom? She wanted to know how Cindy sounded...her way of saying "I expected better." Gotta love her! I sorta got her back though. Dropped her off at the door of the restaurant then went to park the car. When I went in they had already seated her so I said "I'm looking for the old lady you sat." Best part was they took me right to her!

Well, I think I chatted enough. Spring is here now all we need is the weather to show it!

Bonnie - you can send Perditta down to me any time. I will be glad to give her all the attention she can stand. She would get tired of me!

We have had thunderstorms all night and it is supposed to continue through the day today. But we are supposed to get back in the 70s this week. I am soooo ready for spring to come and stay!

I have an eye doctor's appointment this morning to see how they have healed. I can tell you they have healed fine and I still can see so clearly! I wish I had done this a long time ago.

We had Easter dinner at my brother's house yesterday. My sister and her family didn't make it since they all have colds. They didn't want to be around my brother since his surgery is just over a week away. I ate too much as usual.

HAPPY BELATED EASTER!!!!! and HAPPY BELATED ANNIVERSARY TO JULIE and GARY!!!

I hope everyone had a great Easter, I know I did. I ate a lot of Ham, I love ham!!!

So I got to see the townhome Friday night. It is very cute and perfect for the price. It is 3 stories, the first floor is the 2 car garage, the main floor has the living room, kitchen and dining room and a half bath, and the third floor is the 2 bedrooms. It has 2 master bedrooms upstairs with vaulted ceilings. The main master (the one I will have!!!) is huge and has a big walk in closet off the bathroom and it has a garden tub!!! I have always wanted a garden tub!!! The second Master is much smaller and has a decent sized attached bathroom. I am not too impressed with the second bedroom, but it will be just perfect to put bunkbeds in and hopefully a desk!!! The main floor has 9 in ceilings and has a nice size living room with a fireplace, and a dining room and kitchen. In the kitchen is where the washer and dryer is, off the dining room is a balcony. (I think I covered it all, maybe my mom will remember more!!!)

The Thorn went great this weekend. My Mom and Dad were not able to come because they are both still sick But we had our kids there and that made the last performance really special. Tomorrow the Thorn withdraws will hit and I will be sad

I will never live the wine party thing down. I will be at the next one!

SANDY: Thank you for calling me on Easter. You made my day!

It took me some time to catch-up. I have been working overtime. I worked one 11 PM- 7 AM shift & one 7 PM- 7 AM shift. When I worked nights it throws off my whole life's schedule. Spent Easter at work but it was a really great weekend.

HEIDI: The condo sounds beautiful.

Getting very excited about the wedding on July 16th We are flying to Las Vegas on the 13th & leaving on the 19th but I still don't know where we are staying but a friend has a house in Las Vegas so I could impose!

Heidi: The townhome sounds cute. I saw you thread on the CB. They all gave you good advice. Get your own realtor, they are working for you and only you. Get pre-approved. You can decide on the exact type of loan later, but get some ideas. We usually do an ARM and then refinance later for the lower interest rate to start.

We had a nice Easter. I ate too much, but I tried to be good.

I am out of the bidding on the toilet paper holders. They are now in thr $40's and I am not paying that much, even if they are brass. I did bid on another one that is missing the holder part, but I can make do until I find something.

Going to my parents tonight to give then their completed taxes.

roasted garlic tomato soup for dinner, 1 point per 1 cup serving.

Jeanne: I don't know how you can switch back and forth between days and nights. It made me crazy!

Barb: Your life will be in full swing with other stuff soon, grandma.

Sue: We may actually get UP to 60 this week!

Trying to decide what tree to put in fron of the house on the corner. I have my choices narrowed down and I showed Jerry, but he wasn't much help.

Bonnie, your post about your mom cracked me up. Looking for the old lady you sat. I am so happy for you that you didn't gain any of your weight back over Easter. Hey, I don't blame you. I would have finished off that plate of coconut shrimp. My absolute favorite on the ship!! Unfortunately, they stopped serving it.

Jeanne, I was surprised that you were at work yesterday. I was expecting you to be at home cooking for the clan.

Barb, just think how you can now relax and not have to go go go. If you feel the need, just go shopping for the grandbaby. That is my happy time. Our babies will never want for anything that is for sure!!

Denine, my goal over Easter was NOT to gain. We will see come Wed. Not sure what I weighed in at today. She never shared and I never asked her. Great advice for Heidi!

Susan, so how are your eyes? I want it done. I want it done!! We had lots of cloudy cold days last week but yesterday was 65 and today is to hit 72. Nice!!

Heidi, I loved the townhome. It is perfect. I actually like it better than the Stanford Homes one. It seemed much bigger and the layout was so cute. Yes, the smaller second master suite isn't huge but you won't be living in there! Just the weekend visits from the girls. As far as storage, I think that the garage has so much to offer for that. Put in shelves and maybe Richard can get you some cabinets. By the way guys, this unit comes with a washer and dryer. That is great for a first time buyer straight out of their parents house!! Oh and also, the refrigerator comes with it too. Yes Heidi the deck was covered.

Julie, missing your posts. Whatcha up to?? Come out, come out wherever you are......and stay out!!

Denine - after starting that post, I really decided I don't have a clue!! They are very informative, but now it is all way overwhelming!!! Any suggestions?

Mom - I know Taura told me the same thing that I won't be having a family anytime soon so it will help so that on the next house I will be able to have a down payment!! She told me to get a comfy couch so she can crash on it!!! I also told her about my concern with the wheel chair accessible and then it made me think, well what about the stroller w/ Twins for Stacey? How will she get up to the front door?

AAGGGHHH, stressful....I decided I don't like this process and I am either staying at home with my mom and dad or renting until I am married. (j/k)

Heidi: If you find a good realtor, they will help you through the whole process. Search the web for one in your area. Do people you know have any recommendations? We have a great one, but I don't think he will sell in Colorodo.

Just on checking my e-bay auction. I got outbid and upped the price. I won't be home when it sells later. Wish me luck!

Heidi, as far as Stacey and the twin stroller.....easy. She can call you when she arrives and you can help carry them inside. That is how my doctor helped me/you guys. She doesn't need the stroller INSIDE! The twins shouldn't be a problem. Stacey recommends Spencer as a realtor. Hey, how about SCOTT? Just kidding.

Heidi the Townhouse sounds cute!! Are you worried about resale with only 2 bedrooms? Just wondering. Heck...I'll take the second bedroom...I do great in bunk beds. Remember the picture from the cruise??? Actually, after the first night of sleeping up there I would have been happy with the lower but he kept making it up so I kept climbing! Got a little worried with the weight limit towards the end however!

Did well with the diet today...one day at a time. I am determined. My new nurse said "good luck losing 30# by August!" Now I am really determined!!

Susan-right now Perditta is in my lap after looking at me and meowing saying "Hey! Pay attention to the Princess!" You can borrow her anytime!! Too bad you don't live closer. Of course that means I get to borrow Lord Stanley!

I was so disappointed that I missed your call Sandy!! It would have been better than be covertly critisized on my harp playing!

Hi all! Just popping in to say hi! We had a nice Easter. We had dinner over a my mom and dad's house. My dad is coming along nicely, just taking really slow. Brooke is still on a sugar high! She found out that candy is GREAT!!! Makenzie has a barking cough again and has a cold, and Garry(aka the Big Guy) seems to be getting another cold again too! I will be so glad when this wacky weather stops! Either warm up or stay cold with snow, this wet chilly weather is for the birds.

Bonnie, great job on the weight loss! I know you will do it! You go girl! Doesn't that woman know who she is talking to??? I think you are doning great on your harp, so tell mom to zip it or she will have the wrath of the dis cruisers to deal with! We got your back! Love ya!

Heidi, the townhouse sounds really nice. I agree with Denine about getting your own travel agent and they can do all the stuff that needs to be done.

Sandy, double strollers are so nice! I have two of them. I have one that is a side by side and one that is one behind the other. In fact the one that is one behind the other I think I used about a half dozen times. I seem to like the side by side better even though it sometimes is a problem with the width, but now a days most places make room for "oversized" wheelchair type widths so it isn't too much of a problem. We take our side by side one with us down to disney.

Barb, I'm glad to hear that the Thorn was great. One of these days I would love to see it, either on tape or better yet in person. Give your mom and Dick hugs from us and we hope they are better real soon!

Susan, hang in there about Abby! DOn't forget Stanley I bet misses her too. (even if they ignored each other or fought, I bet he misses her too). I could send your or Reilly (the dog) down for a couple of days if you want. I would have to send Tinkerbell down too! (the cat). But she like to back talk people. Boy she does have the tinkerbell attitude! Let us know about the eye doctors!

Denine, sound like you are busy on ebay!! You go girl. Garry wants to know what items you are bidding on so we can up the price on you!! LOL! Just kidding! Good luck with that! Maybe we could get together after your Hilton Head trip.
