Good morning!

My eyes are both 20/15 and healing great. He is extremely happy! Some of my close up vision has returned but not all. He thinks more of it will come back but I will know if I will need reading glasses by about August. Until then, make sure I am reading in bright light.

Stanley is doing great and is getting a lot of attention. He does miss her and keeps looking for her (sometimes I do too). He is really helping me a lot. I can't imagine if we didn't have a pet at all right now.

Julie, glad your dad is getting better. Hope everyone else gets better soon too. I hope you don't come down with anything.

Bonnie - I know you can do it if you really watch your points, drink your water and get a little exercise. I need to get serious again. I have really gained the last couple of weeks.

Sandy - thanks for the call on Sunday. It was so good to hear your voice.

Heidi - the townhome sounds nice. I agree that Stacey can call you when she arrives and you can help her get the twins inside. Keep us posted.

Barb - glad you had another great production run. I would love to see it someday but North Carolina is a little far even for a matinee! Pixie dust to your mom and dad. Tell Sally she needs to post again when she feels better.

Denine - good luck on your bidding. Sounds like the house is getting a lot of personality added to it.

Jeanne - I know you can't wait for the wedding. I am sure it is going to be great. All that overtimje money will be great to have on the cruise too.

Bonnie - No I am not worried about resale for a 2 bedroom, I am not worried at all for resale on this place. The complex is very quiet and kept up nicely. That's right, you can come stay and sleep on the bunkbeds......awwww the memories, can we go back?

Heidi, I caught that Julie said travel agent, too. Made me laugh. Poor Julie! Dreaming of a vacation!!

Julie, we had a twin stroller for our girls that faced each other. That was the only kind we could buy back then except for the side by side which we were warned about the width. Stacey already has a twin stroller where the back child will sit a little higher. I think that is a great idea so he/she can see. She also has matching car seats to the stroller already. Good to hear that your dad is doing better. But.....I wish the kids could get over the crud!! They have been sick all winter it seems.

Bonnie, two of my favorite pictures of the last cruise are you climbing up to your bunk and also the one with you sleeping. You really have your head on straight for losing weight. I know you can do it. Like Julie said, doesn't that nurse know who she is dealing with?

Susan, I really liked one of your quotes:behave as if being watched. That is a good one!! I was wondering how eye surgery can affect reading. That's the bifocal part, right?? I want it done!!!!!!!!

Heidi, I can't give you any advice on who to choose. That is a hard one! I think I am going to skip on lunch today. Let's do it with just the 3 of us sometime (without Graci)

Barb - tips for DCL:

You can get buffalo wings and some other food items down at a buffet table in Diversions.

Suposably there is a buffet during the deck party on Pirate Night that you can get Turkey legs.

If you like the night time mints, go to the midnight buffet, they have containers full of these mints.

If your boss is going to go to Key West, the perfect place to watch the sunset and be alone is on the Secret Veranda on Deck 7 aft.

You can order the Mickey Mouse ice cream bars through room service even though they are not on the menu.

My mom and dads favorite: Bring ziploc bags and order chips and pb&j sandwiches to bring on the island if you are going to the beach.

I will try and think of more!!!

It is supposed to be 74 tomorrow with t-storms. I will believe it when I feel it!

Heidi: Make sure your realtor is not a relative or family friend. No good can come from that. Although it would be worse if you were selling.

I won 3 more items on e-bay, including the toilet paper holder with no holder. I sure hope it is a standard size! Soon, stuff is going to start showing up at my door.

Sue: Your eyes are doing great. Hopefully no reading glasses for you. I have seen Shannon and Ollie here out of the corner of my eye and they haven't even lived here!

Kaleigh ruined a bowl of cat food today. I should have known better than to trust her to play in her ROOM by herself. She ended up in the cats room, put food in the water bowl, carried it all to another room, put more food in toys that she found. UGGHHH!!!!!!!

It is sunny today. I actually have tulips poking their tips out of the ground. There is still hope for nice weather.

Going to the mall tonight. I will do my walking there. Jerry want to see if he can get anything with a due bill he has.

Hi everyone! Im been busy planning a Dance company's visit to Disney World so I was in travel agent mode last night( I work for a travel agent- I'm there Disney expert. I went to Disney's College of Knowledge to get certified), sorry Heidi!

I too need some help. Last year when we cruised, those of you that rented a car from the airport and droveto the port, who did you use? Where was the drop off? I know you guys got shuttled to the port but I don't know from where. The dance troop that is going to Disney for 4 days is going on a cruise the last three days of the week. Some of the people are only going for the cruise and are looking for ways to get to the port. I know Meers goes there and there are town cars and limos, but I thought that renting a car was the cheapest way to get there. ANY HELP would be super!

Well, gonna go. I still have some work on this group. I meet with them tomorrow night.

Denine, I wish I lived with you! I love the anticipation of getting things in the mail. You are going to have so much fun soon. A bright new red sports car? Tell us the details.

Barb, one thing I always pack for the cruise is the over the door shoe holder. It cleans up the bathroom area and keeps things tidy. I pack lots of ziplock bags for many different things like the pb&j sandwiches (which I think Bonnie ended up liking the idea) and good for wet suits going back home. Clothespins are nice to hang wet suits in the bathtub and also for keeping the curtains closed so no light leaks in. You might want to tell him the tip about lifting the bed and storing the suitcases UNDERNEATH. We didn't know about that one the first time. If you need extra hangars call housekeeping immediately as they only have a few extra. There is an extra plug behind the tv. I will keep thinking as well. Can I get a copy of your tips? Pretty please?

Julie, we always use Avis rental. It used to be in the Radisson but has since moved down the street a bit. They shuttle both ways. Correct me if I am wrong Bonnie, but I believe she rented from Budget. We have used Mears and towncars but much prefer renting cars. Not only is it cheaper but we can go where ever we want. It is so easy getting around there, too.

Here is info for the new show replacing Hercules!

Disney Cruise Line is proud to announce a brand new original musical that will open on the westbound Trans-Canal voyage of the Disney Magic on May 25, 2005. The show is called "Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story," and it is based on the classic Disney film, "Cinderella."

The show begins at the end of the famous story as Cinderella and her Prince are wed. However, Cinderella's evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, and her obnoxious stepsisters believe that if it weren't for the glass slippers, Cinderella would never have won the heart of the prince. They call upon Lady Tremaine's evil Fairy Godfather for help, and trouble ensues.



The show features six original songs and two classic songs from the film. Disney Cruise Line guests are sure to experience the story of Cinderella in a whole new way with this production.

This new show will replace "Hercules - the Muse-ical" onboard the Disney Magic. The last performance of "Hercules - the Muse-ical" on the Disney Magic will take place during the April 9, 2005 voyage. In the meantime, Disney Magic voyages beginning April 16, 2005 through May 7, 2005 will feature a special evening of entertainment. The April 16th and 23rd voyages will feature the Bumblesquats, known for their amazingly hilarious and artful "cirque-like" entertainment. Magician Mike Super will be featured on the April 30th voyage and the juggling team of Wilde & Haines will be onboard the May 7th sailing.

"Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story" will only be performed on the Disney Magic. The Disney Wonder will continue to feature "Hercules - the Muse-ical."

My realitor just called and she talked with the HOA for the townhome I am interested in and the $150 includes Building/roof/ground maintenance, insurance, trash/snow removal, water, sewer, and basic cable. I think that is good and that is covers a lot, atleast the water is a major advantage living in CO!!!!!

Made it through the day again!!! I'm hangin' in there. Actually counting up my points and all...yes, drinking my water and peeing up a storm!!! I love that part because that means I am losing!! I take my little bags with all my goodies in them...I'm a grazer. I munch all day! Found this really high fiber cereal that is OK but really crunchy so I munch on that all morning.

Heidi...not bad fees at that place.

Jeanne-Are we still going Sat.? What is the dress code, what time, where is it etc.

Sandy-Thank heavens they got rid of Hercules!!! We didn't even go last time. Skipped it.

Good morning....

I am back among the living.....went to the doctor yesterday and he said I am pretty much over whatever I had but still have some cracking in my left lung. He did find a heart murmur and I am to go in for a test next week. I told him I have had it as long as I can remember but he still said he wanted a test.

Dick has to go in for extensive blood work and a catscan for his lungs. He said something is going on and he didn't think he has walking pneumonia after all. That was what they had told Dick when he had to go to another doctor because ours was gone. Wanted to know if he had lost a filling or inhaled plastic....don't know what that means.

I felt really good Monday so I worked out in the yard....I guess I was rushing it a little because I didn't feel as good yesterday...but I have so much to do before we leave for our son's the l7th of April.

Happy birthday and happy anniversary to everyone I missed.....

One quote is $1479/mo and the other is $1379/mo, with different closing costs. The 1379 is good, the 1479 is not good. But I told him I don't want an ARM and he has the $1379 at an ARM. I give up.

I have been very lazy on my days off this week (I guess the overtime is catching-up on me). I didn't roll out of bed until about 9:00 AM.

BONNIE: We must have cross posted. I will pick you up at 6:30 PM on Saturday night for the "Spring Fling" at Luciens. If it is warm, I am wearing capris with sandals. If it is cold, I will wear the infamous black slacks!

HEIDI: Good luck! That sounds like SOOOO much money a month.
My mortgage, taxes, and association fee comes to around $1,000.00 & some months it is hard for me to make those payments but you do get tax breaks when you own a home.

I need to get outside because the sun is finally out. Yeah!

I lost 1 pound this week, Jerry gained 2.

I found a formal last night at Dillard's. It was on sale, but not by a lot. I wanted to get one before there was nothing left in my size that I liked. It zips, but is snug. I need to keep losing my weight.

I orderd DL tickets yesterday.

We got Kaleigh a couple of really pretty dresses for the cruise also.

Kaleigh came down with a cold last night. She is some better today, but still needy. So, now you know how I spent my morning.

I received the 1st of my wares today, a towel bar for our bathroom.

It is nice today, 63 and sunny. It may as well be 80. I haven't felt temps like this in months here. I have some windows open. Of course it won't last, we go back down to the 40's by Friday.

We found out yesterday that Jerry is getting a raise! He was also put in for a promotion. I really hope he gets it. Sorry Julie, I'm still not paying $900 for plane tickets. We were going to go out to eat tonight to celebrate, but won't since Kaleigh is sick.

Sally, glad you are on the road to recovery. I know that you won't listen but don't rush it!! I have a heart murmur, too. Got it as a result of rheumatic fever back when I was 2. Keep us posted on Dick. Those were some crazy questions about a filling or plastic!!

Denine, I ran out a few months ago to buy my long dress at Dillards too. I was afraid that there wouldn't be any left. Mine still fits. I can see that it fits better in the tummy now. That was good news!! Ted won't get a raise again this year. That makes it two years in a row. In fact, they had a meeting today and if the citizens vote down a sales tax increase they will lay off 122 people. Ted was told that he was safe thank goodness! The City has 7000 street lights and will turn off 5000 of them, too. Other cuts will be made.

Jeanne, your body has had it and wants you to slow down as well. Take it easy! Staying in bed until 9 was good for you.

Bonnie, I like to graze all day, too. If I am wanting "crunch" I like cheerios. I leave my fruit out all day and munch. I heard that eating every 2 or 3 hours boosts your metabolism. I try to do that.

I lost 1.8 this week. I was nervous but my body did good!!

Heidi, I talked to your dad and he is waiting to hear from someone for more loan info for you. They all like to throw out an ARM and tell you it isn't. WHY??

Barb, is it snowing down there yet? I heard that we might get 2" today. You are welcome for the tips! Graci's family is going for the first time next May so I thought that maybe I could give them some tips.
