Trees are down, lights are down, decorations are down & everything is in the basement. Now I am really depressed I think I need some EAGLES decorations.

Eating a "Healthy Choice" & trying to watch what I eat but it isn't easy. I have a problem with Heidi on a diet because she is so thin.

Have to go to the card store today, but don't want to go outside. My neices birthday is tomorrow and I haven't gotten her a card and my nephew/godchild is having a cyst removed from his eye on Wednesday. Poor kid.

Gotta go get Kaleigh out of bed and make her breakfast.

Happy belated birthday Brooke...wish I had been there.

Shopped today with my mom. Needed to get a top to go with my black semi formal skirt for a wedding next weekend. Got a black cardigan with a button on fake fur collar and one of those big gaudy crystal pins that are so popular. The whole thing looks great. Not bad for $16.

Not much new here. Have to go visit Pam's cat...she took her mom to AC last night to stay overnight 2 nights...will be back by 12 noon tomorrow. However she is soooo neurotic about that cat that I have to go over and spend time with him. Jeanne can tell you how weird she is with it. Heck...call me cruel but I think nothing of leaving Perditta for 3 days!

Ryan is on Wheel of Fortune on Jan. 25th. Don't call me Francis Whn you click on the link to the bands website they have a pop up with the date.

Heard from Faith via email. She sounded good. She said that she might call me tomorrow. Everyone is doing good. Michael likes his new job. She got the shift back that she likes.

Well, my show has started so will try and check back in later. Coming down to the spare bedroom isn't as handy so I might not check in as much until the new computer comes back. I am so excited to get it....and it has only been two days.

Hi all! Boy is it COLDDDDDDDDD here! It is suppose to be in the single digits tonight and MIGHT be below zero.

Congrats Bonnie! I wish we were going! Boy do we feel like losers since we are the only ones NOT going! ( Susan and I will drown our sorrows here by ourselves!) I'm one who REALLY wants to cruise with everyone again, and I'm the one not going. If I knew that the school would let Makenzie miss 2 weeks of school.... AND we won the lottery...... and the moons were lined up right....... and life was found on Mars...... and Pigs could fly.... I would be there in a heart beat! Ok, I'm done whining!!

I thought of you Jeanne when the Eagles won! At least one of our teams made it to the playoffs! The Browns will never make it as long as Garry and I are alive! LOL!


Sorry to be whining so much, I haven't had a good day AT ALL today. After I was up this morning and decided to open the shades in the livingroom, what do I see????? WATER leaking from my window! Where the window meets the wall I had a mini waterfall right in the center of my window. I have abow window and it was leaking from the front center!! Water everywhere.... carpet soaked, the wood that is the "top of the seat" and the frames of the window soaked and now water damaged......, the wall under the window cracked,leaking and bubbled paint.... not to mention the outlet in the middle of the wall that has water all around it....... AND my vertical blinds..... 3/4 of them are now stained and water damaged! I called my insurance company and they told me that "you know you could be dropped if this continues." OH, did I forget to tell you this had happened once before...back in Jan 2002? Back then I told the adjuster that I thought that the whole window needed to be removed and reset with braces underneath to give support to the "oversized" window. I was told no. I then said I think that the top needs to be recaulked, once again I was told no. So the company that was called to do the repairs were told what to do (nothing that I had suggested) and that it wouldn't happen again. WRONG!!! NOW THIS adjuster says that they will have to see and if the window was put in incorrectly when it FIRST went in that it isn't covered under the insurance! NICE!! AND now the woman I spoke with when I first called says...." with all the water leaking from above and below the window..... you probably have water in your walls and if that isn't taken care of you will get black mold and that's not good with your little children!" ANOTHER NICE!!! I bring this up to the adjuster who called me and he then says..... black mold and any other mold is a touchy area in insurance and most isn't covered! AAAAAAAAAARRRGHHHHHHH!!! All I have done today is cry!!! I now have 6 pails/pots sitting on my window collecting water. I have already empty the gallon bucket once already. AND to add to the h*** I've been through, IF it goes below zero tonight...... all that water that is now in the window and walls....... will freeze and cause MORE DAMAGE! AndOf course I couldn't get anyone out to look at this window until tomorrow! NICE!

NOW, add Brooke sick with a fever of 102 and watery eyes, nose and whining all day who just wants to be held all day..... I don't think that calgon could even help!!!!! Not even a bottle of wine! Or two!!!

Well, gotta go. I'll check back in later and I promise NOT to complain or whine! (it's just been one of those days!)

Julie - Sounds like you need a hug. You have been through so much yesterday. Don't worry, you and Susan aren't the only ones not going on the Panama Canal cruise, either am I. We can have our own wine chat while the rest of them are cruising!!!! I would love to go on a cruise with everyone. I had so much fun with the Dudettes, Darren, and Faith's crew that it would be so much more fun with the rest of you. Someday, right? I would love to meet Anna Marie, we could have some fun!!!

Bonnie - that's my girl!!! Keep on chanting and maybe my mom will give in and let me come on the Panama cruise!!! I am so jealous that you got on but I was so happy for you, you deserve it and will have so much fun. 7-days at sea, talk about heaven!!!

Jeanne - I am not going to lose too much weight. I much rather prefer to firm and tone up. I am not really dieting, just eating a lot more healthy (besides yesterday!!) and work out.

Barb - hang in there. You and Bob are in our thoughts and prayers.

Denine - sounds like Kaleigh likes balloons and sounds like you had a great time at Brooke's party. Wish I could have gone!!

Once again it is 11 outside, but the sun is shining, at least until it starts snowing again. Is winter over yet?

Kaleigh was not doing as I requested so I picked her up and she bit me on my face. I still have a mark. She got yelled at big time. I know she did it out of frustration, but she has to learn you don't bite people. How long have I been telling her that?

Well, all the ornaments are off the tree. Jerry can do the lights and the tree itself.

I wish everyone could go on the Panama cruise. We could all have a lot of fun over 2 weeks.

Our romantic getaway is this weekend. I work Friday morning and we drop Kaleigh off at 6 PM. I can't wait!

Sandy: I hope you get your computer back soon.

Julie's dad handed out 1/2 dollars to his grandkids and Kaleigh before we left on Sunday. Kaleigh likes to hold it and look at it. "My money" I don't know where she got that from, but that's what she says. It is in a special box on the shelf in her room.

Tomorrow is the moment of truth. Weigh in day. I will see if the scale actaully is able to move in the down direction.

Oh Julie, I wish, I wish I could be there to help you. I feel soooo sorry for you. Insurance is never any fun to deal with. We are still dealing with the roofing company. Not the insurance fault but they DID recommend these people. My heart goes out to you. Hope Brooke is getting better. Don't ever apologize for whining. It is good to get it out! I ;guess we will have to get up a magnet for you, Heidi and Susan to come with us on the Panama Canal cruise! Oh Heidi, can you help me?

Still no weight loss this morning. Can't wait for tomorrow's weigh in. yea, right. I lost 2 pounds last week and gained back like one. I hate my body! Just isn't cooperating.

Better go check on Graci. She is upstairs trying to nap and I am downstairs. Don't feel good about that.

UGGHHH!!!! I just put Kaleigh to bed with a temp of 102. She wasn't acting sick, just tired. She wouldn't let me brush her teeth. I am soooo hoping it is because of her teeth. We can't cancel our weekend. The last day to cancel without paying in full was Friday. If we cancel, we are out $380, plus the romantic weekend. Please send pixie dust!

Jerry is working on the tree. It looks soo naked right now.

Supposed to get 1-4" of snow tonight.

Kaleigh apologized for biting me. She has been told soo many times not to bite. She usually goes after my sleeve, but this time it was my face. I was not a happy camper.

I'm on. we finly got the net fixed. Heidi remmber when you told us all about the snowplow. i just heard on the news a man that lives a few houses away from my us was hit and killed by one this morning. he was just going to work, it's so sad. i may just stay in until the snow stops. the man has 2 kids and a wife. i'm sorry i don't mean to get sad but my god.
anyway mom says hi, mikey is still doing good with his job, euge on the other hand is a little board not many flights are taking off. well it's good to be back on i hope you all have a great day tommorw

Julie-I wish I could help. I hope they are able to fix it and the insurance people come through. Amazing how you can pay for years but put in more than one claim and they cancel. Can you imagine if the health insurance industry did that? I hope Brooke is feeling better...poor babe.

Denine-hope you still get your romantic weekend. Whoever is watching Kaleigh can handle a fever I'm sure...maybe take her to the doc to make sure it isn't an ear infection. Although I know I wouldn't have been able to leave a sick child at home.

Well, I got my supervisor's cube! Yea!!! It didn't stop people from walking in talking while I was on the phone however. Oh well.

Tha's all that is knew here except for the cold! -10 with wind chill...not fun walking 9 blocks to work.

Hi everyone. We're back but just too tired to post. Pixie dust to everyone not feeling well or needing a break from the stress of life! I haven't read all the way back but did scan the last day or 2. I'll catch up on the reading tonight.

The boys came in 2nd out of 6 teams in their division in Orlando. Overall it was a good weekend. We got home around midnight Monday night and had work and school on Tuesday.

My brother's heart cath is tomorrow morning. I postponed my lasik until late Feb.

Turner has his glasses. Hates them and doesn't want to wear them. But, I think he looks good in them and no one has given him a hard time at school or on the hockey team.

I'll try to post more tonight if I can. Miss you guys.

Biting - Not many people will do this, but the best way to stop a child from biting is to bite them back. We would tell parents this at daycare if they had a biter and when they did it, the child stopped biting. As soon as they bite you, you immediately have to bite and let them know that it hurts and is not okay to bite.

Wednesday Weigh-in : I gained 1 pound. Hopefully it is muscle and not fat..more than likely fat with all the junk food I ate with my dad on Monday at the movie!!

Bonnie - you are such a rebel. 2 movies for the price of one, how could you??!!! I think $9.00 for one movie is ridiculous so it's alright to have a 2 for 1 once in awhile!!!

2nd place - way to go Turner!!! How was Orlando Susan? It is finally official that I will be in Florida from February 17th - 21st. It is going to be weird to be in FL and not visit with Mickey Mouse!!!

Kristy - How sad, these snow plow drivers are out of control. Glad you are back online.

Denine - is Kaleigh feeling any better?

Mom - if I can't go on the panama canal with you, why should I make magnets for YOUR room? j/k you know I will do it for you!!!

Just got an email stating that my boss is ordering a new computer for me that has a 17in flat screen!! I already have the flat screen so just give me the new tower!!!!

Heidi, you are right.....Linda bite me when she was little and I bite her back...just hard enough to let her know it hurt and she never bite again...she was my only biter...

It is suppose to be 60 today....didn't quite make it yesterday.....I would like to get my greenhouse cleaned out so I can start putting plants in there when they come in the stores.

I got my carpet shampooed yesterday....so I feel better....I was feeling overwhelmed with so much to do and I hadn't been able to do it for awhile. Dick is feeling much, much better...took his last pill so hopefully he is on the way to recovering.

How about the AR last night....my team was finally kicked off...yeah! She was getting as bad as he was.....

Sally - sorry you lost but I am so glad your team got eliminated. The both of them were getting on my last nerve and she was getting just as bad as her husband. Hi guys. feeling a bit down in the dumps today.

Kaleigh's fever was down to 100.4 this morning and she seems to have a little cold. Once again, I didn't lose any weight, neither did Jerry. That is so frustrating. We are doing everything we are supposed to and nothing. It is cold and snowing again. The Christmas tree is down. I am having a bit of a female problem because this is the longest amount of time I have been on the pill. I am taking it continuously. If I stop for a week, I will have horrible cramps. If I don't, I keep with the problem. Great for a romantic weekend.

If Kaleigh stays this way, we can still go away this weekend. Hopefully she won't get worse.

Trying to do my continuing education to renew my RN license in August. I did 4 tests yesterday. I finally got signed up on the website, so I can maybe do the tests on-line instead of mailing them in.

Hang in there Denine, rememeber to drink lots of water...stay with it, stay focused and don't give up.

I use to have REALLY REALLY bad cramps and then I went on the pill and they have been way less intense, now I may get the cramps that are not intense at all for a day or so. I love the pill. I am sure you will still have a fun weekend, think positive!!!

Mom - everyone loved the rolls. Only 4 out of 2 dozen are left, and there was only 6 of us. We had a lot of fun and are going to try and do the lunch group potluck once a month!!!
