Julie - that is horrible what they are doing to your dad, mom, and you. I couldn't even imagine the stress of that, what jerks. It's a good thing you are not intimidated by them and not afraid to speak your minds and stand up to them. I'm sorry....pixie dust to you, I hope everything gets taken care of immediately for your poor family.

I did see the new gifts for CC members, I really liked the mesh bag.

Okay how obvious was it with James and the POV. Sometimes he is smart, but other times he is so stupid. I really hope Janelle goes next week. And what about Erika and Boogie? What is up with that, she is going to get her heart broken again.

Oh my gosh I forgot to tell you what happened this morning. I went into the girls bathroom to pick up the dirty towels on the floor. One of our cats was laying on the rug which I didn't think to much of because Jaymee's bedroom door was shut so she could not get in. Well I picked up the towels and a mouse ran out. I scream and threw down the towels. Bob is working mids this week so he was asleep and could not help me. I stuffed a towel under the bathroom door and went to wake Jaymee up to let her know she would be sharing the bathroom with our new resident. She is worse then me about mice. Got my blood running this morning.

Barb - yuck, I hate mice!!!!! That would have freaked me out and if Chris was sleeping I would have dragged him out of bed no matter what!!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures, they were beautiful and had a very nice background. But since I have never met your family in person, can you help me put a face with the name.....which daughter is who?

Hi Heidi- Ok here is the run down.
Jaymee is the blond. There is a really cute picute of her spining Ethan around.

Missy is the on with brown hair holding Ethan. There is a really good picture of her on a rock with Ethan.

There is a picture of Tiffany and Jaymee back to back. Tiffany is my 18 year old that is now at Oral Roberts University. Jaymee is 21 and going into the Airforce.

Jason & Michelle are the young couple. They got married on June 4th, There is also a picture of Michelle by Ethan in the dirt.

Melanie is one of my step daughters she is 23. She has a baby, well 5 year old named Devon. There is a picture of Melanie and Devon on a rock and Devon and Ethan in the dirt and on the rocks.

Amanda my other stepdaughter is not in any of the pictures. She had to work

There is a picture of Jason, my Dad and Bob and some pictures of my Mom and Dad. Some pictures of Bob and I, I wish I could delete. BLAH!

OK, NOW this idiots told my mother this morning that she HAS to sign the promisary note which is now down to $12, 000 and change and that if the insurance company does give them payment, they the center will pay my mother (yeah right!) when they get the money. They also said that until she pays this amount, they will not let my dad go home! Um hello, they can't do that! That's holding someone illegally. As Garry said, a car shop can't hold a persons car if they haven't paid their bill, so you can't hold a person if the bill isn't paid. Oh these guys are idiots!!! I told my mom to make sure she gets his files and everything they have or will have submitted to the insurance co. I asked my mom if the insurance co. let's her know if the claims are denined and she said she only hears from the center that this "claims" were denied. I asked her if she knew for a fact that they SENT them the claims and she said, just what they told me. I am sooooooo ready to call our local tv station and tell them what these idiots are trying to do. I bet they would love a story like this! I told her to get her attorney on the phone and have then deal with him. SO, she got off the phone with me and called the attorney and he said NO WAY don't sign a thing and when they give him the OK to go, he goes! He told my mom to give them his number and from now on, all talks will go through him. When my mom called the office (her hip is really hurting today and didn't want to walk down) and told her that she has nothing personal with this Marcey, but she will not sign the note and that here is her attorney's number and if you have any questions or problems to call him. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Garry gave me a tap recorder to give to my mom and my dad to record any conversations that is spoken in their presences (sp). What a way to start the day!

OK, VENT OVER!

Oh yeah, I called to cancel the Big Guys procedure(weeks ago) that was scheduled for tomorrow since Garry and I talked and thought that since he starts school next week, and he wouldn't be able to gym etc., for the first month of school, we decided to postpone it until Christmas break, or even if it can until next summer. Well, the surgery center called this morning to give me instructions for Garry for tomorrow! I told them that I had canceled it weeks ago and they had no record of it! ARRRRRGHHHHHHH!!

CALGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barb - thanks for telling me who is who!!! I love to put faces with names. I had them all right, but your step daughter. I had no idea who she was and couldn't figure out if you had another DD!!!!

Julie - I say call a TV station. Thank god your mom called her lawyer, sounds like this will continue to be a huge mess. I can't believe they thought you would believe that they wouldn't release your dad....idiots.

My best friend just called, her soon to be ex-husband's grandma died and begged her to go with him this weekend to Nebraska, she said she would and then he told her he is moving back to FL. I could kill him, what a jerk. I guess instead of going to Kickboxing like I planned, I will be going to Old Chicago for Happy Hour with her. So much for losing 5 more pounds before the cruise!!!!

Julie-thanks for all your info---really helpful. Any idea on how much Flounder's cost and what their hours are?

My family is more than welcome to come, I'm just afraid there might be hurt feelings that we go off and do our own things. We are used to doing whatever whenever.

Anyway, got to get a couple of things done before the twins wake up.

Gosh, Julie, I j;ust got through your first post and can't continue reading the rest of the posts but had to give you a huge hug. I feel sorry for you.

Julie, you sure have one drama after another....don't you just hate people on a power trip.

Well I am feeling a little better but still not good. Dick had his eye surgery today and when I went in recovery room with him, he was saying he felt like he died and was in another world. He couldn't get awake and finally when he could leave the nurse taking him out said that they had given the patients too much sedative but they were trying to correct it. He came home and didn't want to get out of the car because he said it was warm. After while I went out and told him to come in....he went to bed and slept until we had to go for a follow up with the eye doctor.

While we were in the waiting room another woman came in that had her eye done right after Dick did. I asked her if she had a hard time waking up and she said yes, I thought I had died. I told her about Dick and what the nurse said and she said thank goodness you told me that, I thought there was something wrong with me. Pretty soon another lady came in and she said she had her eye done after Dick and we told her what happened and she said the opposite happened to her. She came out of it and they were still doing her eye and she said it really hurt. I guess they overcorrected.

When we went in to see the doctor he came in the room and said he was sorry that the guy that give them the sedative mixed it with too much of something. Wouldn't you think they would know how much to mix by now. Dr Dewy is a really good doctor and has been doing this for a long time. I guess if I was going to be a doctor I would be an eye specialist. It cost $4000 for one eye and he goes back in a month to get the other one done.

He had me look through his lens to see the lens they put on Dick's eye...it looked good. Before when I looked it was all orange.

When we came home this time, Dick ate and went to bed and is still sleeping really sound. I hope he sleeps it off tonight.

Stacey, Flounders costs $6 an hour and $5 (I think) for the second. their hours vary, but usually open for dinner hours, a few morning hours on days at sea for Palo ressies for brunch. I do recall they had some hours when in a port, but I don't remember exactly. I think it was when we were in St. Thomas and they were open from 7:30AM TIL 1pm. I do not know if they still have those hours. Believe me, when we traveled with your mom and the dudettes the first time, we saw your parents at the elevators a few times, and our wine party and one night down in one of the clubs. The ship is that big that unless you plan on being with a group of people (friends and family) you wouldn't know that you are on the same trip. I can always come with you guys and be your cruise director/nanny. LOL! Oh yeah, my three kids and hubby would have to come too.!LOL LOL!!!!

Sally - that is scary what happened to Dick and the other patients. How is he doing today?

Yay today is my last day to work this week!!!! Tomorrow is strictly DCL....making magnets, shipping boxes to the cruise, shopping for whatever is left that we need to buy, etc.

Good Morning!

Oh my goodness Mom. How is Dad doing today? How scary to have too much stuff.

I am SOOO glad they finally arrested someone in the JonBenet murder. I can not believe it took 10 years. That poor little girl. I hope he gets what is coming to him.

Julie is there any chance you are doing a cruise next year? We are still signed up for the Eurpeon cruise but with the world stuff going on I am pretty concerned about leaving the country and both Jaymee and Tiffany will not be able to go with us. I have been thinking of changing the date so at least one of them could go.

Julie-How frustrating about what is going on with your Dad. I would be soo upset too. I hope everything works out.

Tiffany starts school today. I had left her with $500 for her books. She called me yesterday and told me the cost is $624. Does it ever end????

I wish I was getting ready for a cruise tomorrow.

Jaymee is up in Denver for meps. Hopefully she will know her leave date and job today.

My gosh Julie. I HATE NURSING/REHAB HOMES!!!! Louise, our friend that passed away, was in one last summer for rehab as well. They are still trying to collect what they are not owed. Ted finally got a hold of a great employee who helped. Of course, we are not talking tens of thousands of dollars like you. I can't imagine how you guys feel right about now. You need a BIG box of Calgon.

Sally, I feel so bad for Dick. I can't imagine why those people didn't know how much to give him.

Heidi, I can't wait to get it all done.

Stacey, we actually all do our own thing. It is just an understanding among all of us. If we meet up, great. If we don't great. We usually bump into the dudettes alot because they are without kids like us and do the adult things. Even with Heidi, we have an understanding of great if we do the same thing or great if we don't. BUT, with that said. We are still thinking of going to Canada so your trip would be out for us. It meant a lot that we were invited though. Maybe on this trip, Dad might want to book but who knows. HE is the one that wanted to book this ten day on the PC cruise.

He seems to be awake.....and his vision is clearing up.

Have any of you heard that they have x-ray machines in the airport that shows you naked....my grandaughter heard this and said women are doing women and men the men but I would like to know if it is true. I can't imagine standing there knowing the woman is looking at you naked. My grandaughter is so modest she said she isn't going to fly anymore.

I finally got the downstairs shampooed...it has taken me two days because I get tired....and my poor yard is so weedy. I did cut the grass in the back last night but the front looks like I should make hay. Dick said they told him not to cut grass for a few days...I thought he was kidding but he said they didn't want to take a chance of grass getting in his eye.....wonder how often that happens
