Sandy- Yes I am right across from Kohls. Right across the street from Kohls is a golf course I am right behind the golf course. The fish taco place is between me and Kohls.

Heidi-Now I am really curious about these "Fish Taco's" :fish:
Did you guys get much rain yesterday? We got some but in the south end of town they had flash floods! :umbrella:

:butterfly

Heidi- I lost my Mickey head by my signature. Can you please tell me how to redo it?

Barb - I only have the pink mickey head saved, was yours purple? If you wait until next week I can try and do it again for you.

PurplePooh.gif

Mine was purple. That Pooh and Tiger are soooo cute! How did you do that?

Getting dark here. Hope the storm goes over before 4. We are pulling the trailer down.

Barb, I just remember you saying that you lived by Kohls. I couldn't get back there for nothing. My SIL grew up there. He is HOW we get around.

:wave2: Bye everyone. We are off to go camping. I won't be back on until Tues. Have a great weekend. :grouphug:

Julie should be checking in soon. I believe she leaves Florida today.

Since we are talking about themed houses, I might as well put in my input too. Majority of my house is Disney (anybody REALLY surprised?) My kitchen and master bedroom is country I guess (green, tans). The twins room is fish. Richard and his mother decorated it before they were born. I will have to take pictures so everyone can see. It is quite unique.
Mom-I would love to go back up to Canada but I don't think my kids would be able to handle such a roadtrip. Ok, maybe me not them!!

Hi everyone! As far as I know Julie madie it home, finally. They left Florida as planned on Thursday afternoon, but we had such nasty storms here that they were diverted. They were supposed to go to Pittsburgh, but that airport lost power so they ended up in Baltimore instead. They had a rough night. The las we heard from them, they had been sitting on the airplane in Baltimore for 50 minutes. This was around 8 or 9 PM. The storms were headed there way. I see she is online somewhere.

Some parts of our area got 10 inches of rain and we had flooding in a lot of places. We had at least 2-3 inches here, but no flooding in our house or yard.

I worked yesterday and today.

My back is finally feeling better, not 100%, but better.

My new favorite store is the Children's Place outlet store. We went there last night, mainly to go for a drive and get out of the house after all the rain. I bought Kaleigh a pretty dress, originally $30 for $4, the same for a pink jeans type jacket. They are larger sizes than she wears now, but I dont need any current sizes. I also went to the Carter outlet store and bought a few things at 2 for $5, can't beat that. It was a very successful outing. We bought Kaleigh 2 DVD's. One was Veggietales and the other was Davey & Goliath. I don't know if any of you remember those shows. I loved watching them when I was a kid.

Sandy: Enjoy camping!

Heidi: Kind of sounds like your trip to Vegas is very similar to our most recent trip to WDW!

Just wanted to pop in and say "Hello". I am almost ready to get into the shower and prepare to go to work tonight. I really do not mind working night shift but have a hard time sleeping during the day. My house is too noisy :dance3:

Let's see I have a Winnie the Pooh kitchen and dining room. Mickey is in my bedroom and my curio cabinet in the living room is filled with Mickey collectibles (lots of Lenox Mickey's). Are we Mickey crazy or what??????

SANDY: No cruise in 2007 :confused3 . No WDW in 2007 :confused3. I don't know about this!!!! How about WDW December 2007? Could be fun. Maybe we can bring grandbabies!!!!!!

Hope you all have a Satisfying Saturday and Spiritual Sunday. Back to work. Toodles  JEANNE

Jeanne: Hope work went well last night.

EVERYONE HAS TO GO TO WDW THE FIRST WEEK IN DECEMBER 2007!!!!!!!!!!

Wanted to go see Cars again, but it isn't up at the drive-in anymore. So, when Kaleigh gets up from her nap, we are going to take her to an actual movie theater to see Cars. Wish us luck!

Worked in the yard today. Everything is still wet from all the rain this past week.

Nothing else happening here. Jerry has a class that starts tomorrow and goes through July. He will be home later than normal every day. Yuck!

Okay, I can probably swing a trip to WDW the first week of December in 2007.

Denine - did you make it to see Cars?

Wow, did it ever hail on Saturday. I went to babysit the twins and I put my car in Stacey's garage!!!! Chris said that at our house we got pea size hail and it was 1 inch deep. When I got home 3 hours later the hail was still melting...crazy.

I love Stacey's house with all the Mickey's around. It is not too overwhelming that screams Disney freak, it is subtle...I just love it.

Hey Stace - did you get any hail damage on any of your trucks?

Heidi: WOW! We never get that kind of hail. I am glad.

We did see Cars yesterday. Kaleigh actually sat through the whole movie. She was really good. She loves that movie!

Jerry and I managed to finally watch Narnia this weekend. It took 2 evenings, but we did it. The movie was really good.

All of our trucks seem to be ok, including mine since it hailed at the party we were at. Thanks to Nina, my flowers in the front still look great but the backyard looks completely different. All my flowers back there are destroyed and so is my garden. :furious: The birds are enjoying all my green tomatoes that are on the ground now. I just don't think I was supposed to plant anything this year. Oh well!!

Well at least we saved some flowers for you!!! Sorry, we couldn't save your garden. That is so sad about the tomatoes because they were doing so good inside. Sorry.

Rain, rain go away. Don't bother coming another day! Have you all been reading about our rain. The storm is stuck on the East Coast. :furious:

I was Mandatory Flexed this morning but I was really happy about being flexed. I had so much wash to do after working two night shifts. It took me all day to catch up. Then, of course, it was food shopping.

DISNEY IN DECEMBER 2007 sounds like it could be a plan :dance3: We just have to REFRAIN from booking another cruise when we are on the ten day cruise!!!!!!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Sometimes they make some incredible offers.

So sorry about Stacy's backyard. You should see my lilies. They are all laying on the ground. Poor things. :sad2:

Tried to talk Bonnie into going out with us on Thursday but she didn't want to go. The ironic thing is that her son's band "Don't Call Me Francis" was playing at the club but Ryan wasn't there!

Hope you all have a Tender Tuesday. Toodles  JEANNE

Jeanne - I did hear about all the rain and flooding you are getting. My coworker is in DC and they had a mandatory late start yesterday because the steps into the building were flooded. We need the rain over here, it sounds like it passed us up (the ones that need the moisture the most with all the fires). Mother natura can be cruel.

Good Morning!

I was pretty busy at work yesterday so I didn't get time to post. I was on the typing database in the morning and on the technical help line in the afternoon.

Guess what?? WE ARE GOING TO HAWAII ON A CRUISE!!!!!!!! I am super excited!!  My Mom, Dad, Sisters and Brother are all going. Don't think all of us have taken a trip together since I was a kid.

Yah, ok so let me tell you about the Missionette graduation this past weekend.

So Bob and I show up on Friday night to set up and decorate the arch it took about 2 hours but it was beautiful. I am thinking "K bye for now, I am leaving..." When Denise (the Cordinator) tells me the BALLOONS NEED TO BE BLOW UP!! Do you remember me saying I DRAW THE LINE AT BALLOONS!!! I hate balloons. They terrify me. I don't like to be around them. So.. well.. yah so much for that. If Bob and I didn't do it they wouldn't get done so we were at the church until 11:00pm blowing up about 100 balloons!!! And get this ONE POPS IN MY FACE! I had a red mark on my neck! I COULD HAVE DIED FROM A FATAL BALLOON ATTACK! I spent much of Friday night screaming at popping balloons.

So anyway Saturday morning comes along and Bob and I are back at the church and guess what?? We are the ONLY ones there to set up. I was kicking butt running around setting up display tables, food tables, making center pieces and presentation bouquets. Next year I am going to going to be the "Events Coodinator" and teach 5th grade so needless to say I am appointing committees and planning early early early!!

Back for a day. We got hail while camping too. It was pounding the new Pathfinder so we jumped in it and hid under a deck. Everything seemed to be ok here at home and at the campground. Sorry Stacey about all your flowers.

I was talking to Ted while I was reading and told him about the WDW in Dec of 07. All he did was laugh. So.....not sure what that meant. I hope, I hope we will do it. I loved it last time and have been wanting to do it again.

Barb, how cool is that. A cruise to Hawaii. Heidi's ex's parents did it and loved it.

Jeanne, Terry from the PC just wrote Ted begging him to go on the Repo cruise from Europe to FL. It was so funny. It started out by Ted, you old Harem guy...... He was always so funny.

Better run. Will be getting the kids soon and have tons more to do.

Stacey: I know what you mean about your flowers. All my daisies are laying on the ground becasue of the inches of rain and wind we received. Jerry tried tying them up.

Barb: I would not have been a happy camper having to do EVERYTHING. At least you guys were there to make it special for the girls.

A cruise to Hawaii? Details, details!

I ordered a pre-K program for Kaleigh this morning. We are going to start in the Fall. I was going to do it on my own, but decided a program would get us both into the mindset of homeschooling.

I have Kaleigh signed up for a program at the library next Monday and then it will for the next 4 Mondays after that. They have a story, a game and a craft based on the theme for the day. I think she will have a blast! Next week is patriotic.

Sandy: You guys HAVE to come next December!
