Barb: If you can can tomatoes, you can make this sauce. It was really easy, just took a long time.
It looked like we were gonna get a ton of rain again yesterday, but we got a little and it passed over, yippee! The only problem is it is only supposed to be 74 today.
How about August for the Italian dinner? Julie is really busy in July.
The only problem with going to work tomorrow is Jerry has to leave when I get home. He has a test tomorrow for his class. If he passes, he gets his certification. Then he has a week "off" and starts back up until sometime in August. He has been doing his regular owrk for about 4 hours beofre he starts class, then he gets aout of class around 4:45. He figures he will put in 60 hours this week. YUCK! We are both mentally tired. I am getting too much Kaleigh time and she is not even being bad. I just need a break.
I have been working on a pre-school workbook with Kaleigh. She loves the numbers but avoids anything to do with letters. But, she complains that she can't read. Go figure! She has been trying to write some of her letters with Jerry and she is doing a good job with those. You can tell what letters they are.
Barb: If you were a homeschooler, you would do great with unit studies. Lots of prep and planning.
I am trying to wake up enough to do my treadmill. I am even drinking caffeine.
Heidi: Enjoy your long weekend!
We want to go see Pirates too.

A pirate party sounds like fun. Arrrgh!
