Hello, to all. It feels so great to be human again and not the weak sicky that I was. I NEVER want to go through that again. I was seriously considering going to the emergency room, but thankfully I made it through!!!!!!
Well Chris left for TX on thursday for his work convention thing and I spent the night at my parents house. I was still not feeling very well, but made it through all the reality shows!!!! Went to bed on plywood...ugh I mean my mom and dad's guest bed and woke up on Friday morning to my mom's cell phone ringing, and then mine. Hoping it was Chris calling from his late night free drunk fest, nope it was my aunt. Turns out my uncle was driving by where Chris parks the company Coke van (for Cristi and maybe Jrsy, it was parked on Webster because HOA rules is NO LOGO vehicles in the parking lot of our complex) and he noticed that the front end was half-way in the middle of the street ( the cops said it was pushed out 8 feet). The van had been been rear-ended and the other driver took off. The cops think that the other driver had to have been drunk and was flying down the street to move that van out in the street so far, of course there wasn't any skid marks from the vehicle attempting to break. So the van had a smashed up bumper and back door, but the other car left behind part of a bumper and headlights and blue/green paint on the white van!!!! I will be looking for a smashed up blue/green vehicle for the next few weeks!!!!!
Great so after the call, I woke my mom up and we got ready and dashed out. I took the dog back to the house and thankfully my mom went straight to the van, where a Jefferson County officer is waiting there for the CO State Patrol (CSP). I guess Jeffco was getting many calls regarding the van, but the Jeffco cop took off saying that it "wasn't a hazard" What in the H, was he thinking...the van was in the way of oncoming traffic. The state patrol laughed at that. So because it WAS a hazard and Chris had the keys in Texas they were going to have to tow it, but they really didn't want me or Coke to have that expense since the car was driveable. (BTW, this all happened for 2 hours from 8:30am-10:30am) In those 2 hours I could not get a hold of Chris and had no idea what Coke's procedures were. Finally I got a hold of a coworker of Chris's and she helped me out get in contact with their boss and then Chris. So now I had 6 different people all trying to call my cell phone, while I was looking at my mom to handle it all and make the calls!!!!! Thankfully my uncle Larry brought over a jack and him and 3 CSP officers pushed it off next to the curb, breaking his jack. 1 Jeffco cop, and 3 CSP cops later the problem had been resolved and of course no police report written. Chris just called me and he dropped off the van, they said it would take about a week to repair!!!!!!!
The funniest part ever that made my day goes to my mom!!!!!!!! I was still not feeling very well and starting to get a migraine because I had no eaten, so my mom offered to go to McDonalds to pick up McMuffin sandwich for me. Being the nice generous person that she is, she asked the officer if he would like her to pick up some DONUTS for him, she quickly recovered by saying McDonalds, ugh McMuffins, uh Coffee??? OMG I wanted to burst out in laughter but I choked it down. Thanks for the laugh mom.
The rest of the weekend went by uneventful (thank god). When Chris got home he treated me to Chinese due to everything we had to go through. On Sunday my parents took us out and my sister and BIL out to a dinner theatre and we saw Beauty and the Beast. I hadn't been there since my 21st birthday, it was a lot of fun. Some scenes in the play I had uncontrollable and unappropriate laughter, but I couldn't help it. When guys come out dressed as plates, spoons, forks and knives...I lost it and laughed hysterically.
The names are pretty funny. Mine is Dorky Dippindunkin. (say that 10 times fast!!!!)
