Just heard from Heidi. She did call in sick. Tomorrow is her day off so she probably won't be on until Monday. Today is the day she was to go to Texas. Maybe it was a good thing that it fell through!

Good Morning....

Heidi Heidi get better soon!!! Sorry you are not feeling well.
:tink: dust to you!

Julie keep us posted on Susan!!!

Hi guys, taking a break from boring daytime TV and before I take another nap. I didn't sleep very well, threw up for most of the night. Good thing is that my headache is gone and I am not throwing up anymore. I am just very weak and tired. I am still only eating and drinking saltine crackers and ginger ale. My mom and dad were my life savers last night and brought me them when I was dying, Chris was at school. Nothing better than your mommy and daddy stopping by to let out the dog and bring me ginger ale and crackers!!

Julie - I am glad you called Susan. Hopefully she will post or call you back.

Chris left over an hour ago for the airport. He was so excited, he couldn't sleep last night because of the excitement. That relieved me a bit because I thought I was keeping him up running to the bathroom every minute!!!!

Hi Barb. Thanks for the pixie dust.

 Hi Barb. Hi Heidi.

Heidi, are you still planning on coming over here to spend the night? What's for dinner? I don't think the velveta dinner would be good for you.

 Hi lurker Stacey and Julie! :teeth:

Denine, thinking of you. Are you going to start watching AR??

Sally, come out come out where ever you are. Ya, that was stupid. It is another gorgeous day. I am sure you are doing something outside!

Hi guys!

Haven't heard anything from Susan yet, but I will keep you all posted.

Heidi, pixie dust to you! Glad you are feeling better. I've never thrown up frommy headaches, but I know the feeling.

I took Garry and Brooke for their 5yr and 2yr check ups on monday. Garry is 45 inches and 50 lbs and Brooke is 26 inches and 24 lbs 11oz. They are both in the 95% and off the chart for height. Garry got 2 shots and Brooke got 1. Everything is fine with both.

It is rainy/slushy/hailing/ YUCKY out today and it is giving me a headache. When the weather goes crazy around here is when I usually get them.

Well, I'm gonna have to go, I have to get Makenzie from school.

Hi to everyone out there!!

TTFN

Hey Julie, it was fun to read the progress of the kids. I guess drinking wine off the deck :lmao: :rotfl2: doesn't stunt growth. It almost sounds like it encourages it. I think they will be tall like daddy! Sorry to hear that you are having yucky weather....it makes me feel guilty. So, when are you flying out here to enjoy the great weather?

Another crazy TV night with Skating with the Celebrities final, American Idol results going against Survivor and Beauty and the Geek. Sheez..... :confused3 guess I will tivo the first two for later and watch the second two.

Stacey had some adorable 9 month pics taken of the babies today. Guess I will have to run over to Kiddie Kandids soon. I want to have something "special" made. She has a cool bag with their pictures on it and mugs. There is a lot more so can't wait to see what I can get. Hey maybe, I could get Grandpa something special for Fathers Day when they get their 12 month pictures!

Graci and I made something called Kookie Brittle today. It is pretty much a glorified pan cookie that is overbaked to make it crisp enough to "break" into brittle rather than cutting like bars. I think my stomach didn't like it  . That is one recipe not to make again!

FINALLY!!!! :cheer2: :cool1: After 5 months DCL just sent me a replacement jacket that I bought onboard. UPS just left. Now I am wondering if they sent the wrong size. It is a medium. Wish me luck!

Oh great, I was just watching the 4:00 news and found out that someone stole a laptop computer from Stacey and Heidi's college. It contained 93,000 students names and social security numbers and they are alerting everyone to identity theft. Wonderful......what next?

I am here. I had my MRI this afternoon, won't know anything until early next week. It wasn't bad. I just closed my eyes and listened to the music over the very loud clunking the machine made.

Unfortunately, the vicodin doesn't seem to be helping as much today. I called off work for tomorrow since I can't take it and work. I felt horrible calling off.

So when is AR even on? 2 annoying, screaming ladies huh?

Heidi: Sorry to hear about your migraine. I know how Jerry is when he gets them.

Julie: No stunted growth there! Keep us posted about Sue.

It is snowing now.

We dropped Kaleigh off at grandma's house while I was having my MRI. It was on Snow rd by the Fairfield in at 71.

Sandy: Yikes! I hope there is no identity theft.

Jerry is still going to work from home tomorrow, so I won't be on until tomorrow night.

Thanks for all the pixiedust:

Worked last night from 7 PM to 7 AM (they were short staffed), slept until about 2:00 PM. I must have been really tired since I usually wake up around noon. Then it was Mommy & Doggie duty. Calgon take me away.......

DENINE & HEIDI: This is GET WELL PIXIE DUST pixiedust: pixiedust: for you two!

I have hypothyroidism. My thyroid has to be totally depressed in order for the tumor not to grow. My new doctor gave me a script to have my thyroid re-xrayed since it has been five years.

Have to work again tomorrow and maybe Saturday night (cruise money$$$$ or Vegas money$$$$). I have been just really tired today. Can't shake that night shift.

Rain, rain go away.... Hope you all have a fun Friday and great weekend. Miss you all :grouphug: Toodles  JEANNE

It is Friday and only Jeanne post? My goodness!

Jeanne: I hope the x-rays come out fine. I don't know how you still work the occasional night shift. Those things killed me! :faint:

Nothing much going on here. Jerry worked from home, I slept in. My back still hurts. the 1/2 vicodin isn't helping anymore so I took a whole one a little while ago.

Hoping everyone is out having fun and that is why they havne't posted.

Jerry found out Wednesday that he has to work tomorrow night from 8P-4A. At least he can do it from home. They are doing some sort of disaster recovery drill.

You guys have to check out the Captain Underpants thread. It is hilarious. My name is Sloopy Chucklehead.

Julie: Did you get the thing from DCL about the Family Scavenger Hunt on Castaway? I thought that could be a fun thing to do in October since we have 2 days at Castaway. :sunny:

Hello everyone,

Well, Heidi and I had a HORRIBLE start to the day. We were able to salvage the afternoon and had some fun. I will let her tell you all about it. My spot on the couch is calling my name. I am dreaming of a nice warm blanket and a good TV show. Might not happen though cuz Ted wants to head up to his dad's house to do more work and spend the night. I just want to SIT!!!

Sunday we have our reservations with the dinner theatre for Beauty and the Beast. I think after today we deserve it!!

Stacey now has two crawling babies. I HAVE to get over there to see it!

Sandy: Sorry to hear you didn't have a good day. I hope you enjoy the show on Sunday.

Stacey: Watch out now! Crawlers! Of course, Kaleigh certainly got around very well just by scooting.

I posted yesterday but it didn't show up....lost in cyber space :confused3

Patti and Julie got here about 6....we went ahead to Archivers and they met us there.....had a fun time...they were just as bad as Barb and I and shopped more than scrapbooking. It is like a big candy store to scrapbookers :cool1:

Today is our all day Disney class....can't wait to see our teachers house. She lives out by the zoo which is in the Broadmoor section of the city. Her husband owns an airplane and they live in a guarded area.... :yay:

It is 6:45 and no one is up yet and Barb said she would be here at 7:45-8 so guess I am going to have to be the mean guy and wake everyone up. We are going to breakfast first than go to class. Planning on going out to dinner tonight after the class and breakfast in the morning before Patti's leave. Sure is a short weekend....wish Patti lived closer

Denine hope your back starts feeling better...that vicodin is what I took when I had the kidney stone....good stuff . I keep it on hand just in case I ever need it again

Have a good weekend guys

We all need a little stress-reliever! This only takes a minute.

Sometimes when you have a stressful day or week, you need some silliness to break up the day. And, if we are honest, we have a lot more stressful days than not.

Here is your dose of humor...

A. Follow the instructions to find your new name.

Love your new name Julie!

Today was a pretty decent day. I took a whole vicodin to start and it seems to be helping.

We went to the pet store and Trader Joe's. I bought some snacks and wine and a loaf of cheese bread to go with dinner.

I made homemade pasta sauce and took the pasta dough out of the freezer and had homemade pasta. We had a salad and the bread. It was very good. I haven't eaten much this week. I think the vicodin is taking away my desire for food, not necessarily a bad thing.

Jerry has to work tonight. No plans for tomorrow. I need all the rest I can get.

Sally: Hope you had a good day.

I really need those Canadian Mounties; everyone seems to have gone missing!

Luckily Jerry got to bed about midnight last night. The test failed so miserably that they called it off. I don't know if they are going to reschedule or not.

We have just been laying low today.

It is actually above freezing today, but we are supposed to get a little snow tomorrow.

Jerry has a dentist appointment tomorrow and I really hope to find out something about my MRI.

Hello, to all. It feels so great to be human again and not the weak sicky that I was. I NEVER want to go through that again. I was seriously considering going to the emergency room, but thankfully I made it through!!!!!!

Well Chris left for TX on thursday for his work convention thing and I spent the night at my parents house. I was still not feeling very well, but made it through all the reality shows!!!! Went to bed on plywood...ugh I mean my mom and dad's guest bed and woke up on Friday morning to my mom's cell phone ringing, and then mine. Hoping it was Chris calling from his late night free drunk fest, nope it was my aunt. Turns out my uncle was driving by where Chris parks the company Coke van (for Cristi and maybe Jrsy, it was parked on Webster because HOA rules is NO LOGO vehicles in the parking lot of our complex) and he noticed that the front end was half-way in the middle of the street ( the cops said it was pushed out 8 feet). The van had been been rear-ended and the other driver took off. The cops think that the other driver had to have been drunk and was flying down the street to move that van out in the street so far, of course there wasn't any skid marks from the vehicle attempting to break. So the van had a smashed up bumper and back door, but the other car left behind part of a bumper and headlights and blue/green paint on the white van!!!! I will be looking for a smashed up blue/green vehicle for the next few weeks!!!!!

Great so after the call, I woke my mom up and we got ready and dashed out. I took the dog back to the house and thankfully my mom went straight to the van, where a Jefferson County officer is waiting there for the CO State Patrol (CSP). I guess Jeffco was getting many calls regarding the van, but the Jeffco cop took off saying that it "wasn't a hazard" What in the H, was he thinking...the van was in the way of oncoming traffic. The state patrol laughed at that. So because it WAS a hazard and Chris had the keys in Texas they were going to have to tow it, but they really didn't want me or Coke to have that expense since the car was driveable. (BTW, this all happened for 2 hours from 8:30am-10:30am) In those 2 hours I could not get a hold of Chris and had no idea what Coke's procedures were. Finally I got a hold of a coworker of Chris's and she helped me out get in contact with their boss and then Chris. So now I had 6 different people all trying to call my cell phone, while I was looking at my mom to handle it all and make the calls!!!!! Thankfully my uncle Larry brought over a jack and him and 3 CSP officers pushed it off next to the curb, breaking his jack. 1 Jeffco cop, and 3 CSP cops later the problem had been resolved and of course no police report written. Chris just called me and he dropped off the van, they said it would take about a week to repair!!!!!!!

The funniest part ever that made my day goes to my mom!!!!!!!! I was still not feeling very well and starting to get a migraine because I had no eaten, so my mom offered to go to McDonalds to pick up McMuffin sandwich for me. Being the nice generous person that she is, she asked the officer if he would like her to pick up some DONUTS for him, she quickly recovered by saying McDonalds, ugh McMuffins, uh Coffee??? OMG I wanted to burst out in laughter but I choked it down. Thanks for the laugh mom. :lmao: :rotfl2:

The rest of the weekend went by uneventful (thank god). When Chris got home he treated me to Chinese due to everything we had to go through. On Sunday my parents took us out and my sister and BIL out to a dinner theatre and we saw Beauty and the Beast. I hadn't been there since my 21st birthday, it was a lot of fun. Some scenes in the play I had uncontrollable and unappropriate laughter, but I couldn't help it. When guys come out dressed as plates, spoons, forks and knives...I lost it and laughed hysterically.

The names are pretty funny. Mine is Dorky Dippindunkin. (say that 10 times fast!!!!)

good morning everyone

Well our fun weekend is over.....our class was in a 3 million dollar house with the most beautiful woodwork and doors that I have ever seen in my life. She gave us a tour of the house before our class and Julie (Patti's daughter) was ready to move in right then.

The pages we did are so cute....Barb and I are going back next Saturday to finish since we had 20 pages to do and I only got 6 done. I will work on them this week but there is a lot we have to do using her equipment.

Saturday night after the class and dinner, Patti, Ken, Jason my grandson, Michelle and I went to Cripple Creek at 9. I ended up winning $50 on the Munster slot machine. I thought even if I didn't win I liked the music.....I gave Dick back $l7 of the $20 I borrowed and also the $50 I won....pretty good don't you think. He sends money to Cripple Creek, goes to bed and makes $47 :rotfl2:

While we were at the class, Ken cut a pine tree in front of my house. I have hated that tree, even though it was a nice shape tree, for several years because it loses so many pine needles in the flower bed under it. Every year I say some pretty nasty things to that tree ( how did we know that sweet baby pine would grow to be a monster size) they said it would be a dwarf size. :confused3 Anyway he cut the limbs up as high as he could reach and said he was afraid to do anymore because he didn't know how I would feel about it. I told him he could have cut it down and I would be happy....of course it isn't the trees fault that I put the flower bed under it.

It is suppose to be in the 70's today and a little cooler tomorrow and then snow showers Wed. I have so many crous up....yellow and purple. The ones that came up the first of Feb made it through our last cold spell so they should be ok....There are some tulips coming up about 4 inches that may not like the snow but hey this is Colorado, get use to it.

Denine, take that full tablet of vicadon.....I was afraid I would get addicted to it when I was taking so many but didn't even bother me not to take it after I got over having pain. Being on your feet like you are at work can not be good for you....

Guess I will go straighten up the house and then probably not do much else unless I work outside....
