Heidi, come over!! I need you to help me with the name and Mickey head.

Hello everyone. Barb, come out, come out!!

Denine, glad you got the picture ok. Maybe when Heidi comes over I will have her post it here so everyone can see all of us on formal night.

Julie, you talking about school parties and all made me miss MY little girls. Whaaaaa, where did the time go? Heidi and I were just talking about a party we threw for them in our house. Memories!

Julie, I will give Ted that big hug and kiss from you. At this point, he needs all that he can get. Of course, then there is Bonnie grabbing at his knee whenever I wasn't looking.

I am running late today so better go cook dinner.

Well I finally met Chris's mom last night. She was nice and very easy to talk to. All you need to do it bring up DCL and she will go for hours talking about it!!!! She cooked REAL Cuban food for us. Very interesting and good. She loves to cook so she is planning out all these meals...some meals I may have to really pretend to like and suck it up, but we will see!!!!! I now know the basic ingredients of all Cuban dishes is olive oil, vinegar, green peppers, onions, and garlic!!!! She made Cuban potato salad with layered potatoes, onions, egss, vinegar, and olive oil. I was pleasantly suprised. She also made Palamia to go with it but I have had that several times because Chris makes it for me and I LOVE it!!!

Tonight she is going to Chris's ex-wife's house to spend more time with the girls, but before she goes she is making a Cuban pork roast today so we can have it for dinner. I guess somehow it is cooked with of course Vinegar...should be interesting. Mom - I will bring some over for you to eat tonight if you don't want to make dinner. Otherwise if you are still making the soup, I will eat a little of the roast (since I don't really like roast) and a lot of the soup!!! Your call, let me know!!!

Good morning, glad it worked out with Fran, Heidi. All the food sounds yummy. I bet Chris is so excited to eat his mom's food. It is a far cry from mine and yours that is for sure. I am going to make the Tex Mex soup no matter what so you do what you want. I am also making homemade rolls.

Our friend Pamkass from the cruise sent me this joke. Thought you guys might enjoy it. They are from New Orleans. Humor must keep them going!

You know you live on the Gulf Coast when:

*You have FEMA's number on your speed dialer.
*You have more than 300 C and D batteries in your kitchen drawer.
*Your pantry contains more than 20 cans of Spaghetti Os.
*You are thinking of repainting your house to match the plywood covering your windows.
*When describing your house to a prospective buyer, you say it has three bedrooms, two baths and one safe hallway.
*Your SSN isn't a secret, it's written in Sharpie on your arms.
*You are on a first-name basis with the cashier at Home Depot.
*You are delighted to pay $3 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
*The road leading to your house has been declared a No-Wake Zone.
*You decide that your patio furniture looks better on the bottom of the pool.
*You own more than three large coolers.
*You can wish that other people get hit by a hurricane and not feel the least bit guilty about it.(My favorite!!!)
*You rationalize helping a friend board up by thinking "It'll only take a gallon of gas to get there and back"
*You have 2-liter coke bottles and milk jugs filled with water in your freezer
*Three months ago you couldn't hang a shower curtain; today you can assemble a portable generator by candlelight.
*You catch a 13-pound redfish. In your driveway.
*You can recite from memory whole portions of your homeowner's insurance policy.
*You consider a "vacation" to stunning Tupelo, Mississippi.
*At cocktail parties, women are attracted to the guy with the biggest chainsaw.
*You have had tuna fish more than 5 days in a row.
*There is a roll of tar paper in your garage.
*You can rattle off the names of three or more meteorologists who work at the Weather Channel.
*Someone comes to your door to tell you they found your roof.
*Ice is a valid topic of conversation.
*Your "drive-thru" meal consists of MRE's and bottled water.
*Relocating to South Dakota does not seem like such a crazy idea.
*You spend more time on your roof then in your living room.
*You've been laughed at over the phone by a roofer, fence builder or a tree worker.
*A battery powered TV is considered a home entertainment center.
*You don't worry about relatives wanting to visit during the summer.
*Your child's first words, "hunker down" and you didn't go to UGA!
*Having a tree in your living room does not necessarily mean it's Christmas.
*Toilet Paper is elevated to coin of the realm at the shelters.
*You know the difference between the "good side" of a storm and the "bad side."
*Your kids start school in August and finish in July.
*You go to work early and stay late just to enjoy the air conditioning.

Homemade rolls and the soup I want to try....hmmm I think I choose to eat with you!! I will bring some over for you to try so it atleast looks like I ate some!!!

Good morning Heidi. WOW, I love it!!!!!!! You are the greatest!! Very talented. Could I save my original Jiminy somewhere on the computer and have the animated Jiminy?

Can anyone come out and play today?? Barb, Sally, Patty, Bonnie, Jeanne (probably at the craft show), Susan, Julie and even dependable Denine come out come out where ever you are!! Hey, even Krista and Lori and Laurie, too. What about Diana?

Well my boss gave us an hour off early so I get to go home...maybe I can find my mom!!!!!

I really don't have anyone to say goodbye to or comment to, so bye mom see you in 30 minutes or shorter.

I'm here guys! Don't give up on the thread Heidi! It has been crazy around here, I'll explain more later on this weekend. Just wanted to let you know that I will aways be here!
