You go through the same process as with the fonts, only in MagicKStudio you click "blend" instead of "in". Make sense?

Sandy: Don't do it! It will be a lot easier to say no now, then to tell her she has to move out because it isn't working. It is hard enough to have a family member move in, let alone a freind. Assisted Living is the way to go.

Glad you guys didn't get too much snow. I saw in the paper that much of Denver got socked.

Barb: You poor thing! Hope you feel better soon.

Sandy: We aren't allowed to put in solar panels. The HOA won't allow it. Don't worry about those 4 pounds.

Heidi: SOunds like you had a busy, but fun weekend.

I started with a scratchy throat during the night. I have been so tired and so cold that Jerry was afraid I was getting sick. I have been taking the airborne every 3 hours today and I am drinkning my hot tea right now. Not sure if Kaleigh is getting an earinfection or what. SHe woke from her nap yesterday complaining her ears hurt. No fever, and not acting sick. I gave her some APAP before bed. She still says they hurt today, but not acting sick. She usually denies pain, so this is unusual.

Bonnie: I would love to get Kaleigh a big girl bed in exchange for potty training, but I don't think she cares. We have been taking away toys for wet diapers and she just wan't to know what she is going to lose. She is so stubborn!

Nice hot soup for dinner tonight, plus I am making corn bread to go with it.

Heidi- I do know exactly where you are talking about. Can't wait to get
home and do it! Thanks

I am so sore. It hurts to cough and I keep coughing...... I have a chiropractic appointment tomorrow. My chiropracter is not in today.

Barb, I am sorry about your fall. It sounds nasty. You sound like you are in a lot of pain. I figured you were getting hit pretty hard with the snow. Monument Hill even had the chain law. Today I heard they were socked in with fog. Weather is always twice as bad on Monument for some reason. Stacey's trees and bushes got it pretty bad and she is only about 10 minutes away. It is crazy how the storm was a hit and miss.

I just want to thank you all for your advice. I was feeling bad that I didn't want to take her in. Ted made a decision (early this morning) and has decided to stay with her a week or so when she gets home OR push for the asst living. The nursing home likes the idea of asst living but they will do a home assessment to see if home is a viable option. Heidi, no need to feel bad. I know you had your hands full. As far as Grandma and Sam, that would be in the future not anytime soon.

Heidi, I am going to send you a picture to see if you can post it of all of us on formal night. I don't know how to size it so it might be massive because it is an 8x10.

Denine, we just put a mattress on the floor for our girls so we didn't have to worry about them rolling out and hurting themselves. Maybe you can just put her crib mattress on the floor. How are you feeling? I have a stuffy headache. Hope I'm not getting sick!!

Look at all the Beautiful People:

OH MY GOSH!!!! YOU GUYS LOOK GREAT!!!!

Sandy- I love the hair cut, you look so young.

Bonnie- Your hair is so cute too. You look so different!

Kaleigh looks so big!

Bonnie-Don't know why you are worried about your weight. I think you look great!

Now I really want to lose lots of weight and go on the September cruise!

Heidi, thanks for putting up the picture!!

Barb, you are so sweet. Thanks for the compliment. I grew my hair out because it is horrible with humidity so I thought on a 14 day cruise, I could just pull it back. My bangs were always in a flip before. lol.

I want to share another picture of Ted and I that I love. It makes me proud of my weight loss. Hey Heidi, want to do another pic for me??

Awww shucks, Heidi. Thanks. I guess I like the original picture better than how it appears on the computer. Oh well.

Barb, as far as weight loss....you don't HAVE to lose to go on the Sept cruise.

Well, the saga of the friend has been put on hold. Instead of going to her nursing home release meeting she instead ended up in the emergency room and is receiving to units of blood. They are going to keep her over night and hopefully do some tests. Wow, here we go again.

Thanks for posting the pics Heidi. Sandy looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! And of course Ted is always a hunk! (Knee squeeze with that comment!)LOL! :smooth:

Barb as far as losing weight...you will notice I am hiding behind Denine and turned sideways. Hair is the same length but I just went darker...closer to my original color...pre gray! Harder to maintain but looks a little better.
Sorry to hear about your fall.

The news said Denver had a foot of snow! We are still getting rain!!! The webs are starting to come out on the feet!

Well, bought my lotery ticket for the 250 million tomorrow. Say a prayer because you will all benefit from it!

Oh Bonnie, believe you me! I am praying and praying for your ticket to come in!! :goodvibes I know that you are getting a lot of rain :umbrella: but I am not too worried about you. I know that you are a pro at paddling. :rotfl2: Just stop by Jeanne and Joyce's for that added muscle and you will be fine. Just break into song......row, row, row your boat......
Love ya, mean it.

Heres' to hoping Bonnie wins the lottery!!!!!!

Mom - have you heard anything about Lou? What time did dad get home? Thanks for coming over last night, Chris really appreciated it. He kept saying over and over, "I hope your mom can make it over," and then it changed to "I am so glad your mom came over." Kind of wierd but I have noticed with this week that he is A LOT more affectionate to you then his mom....hmmmmmm. I noticed when you were leaving HE asked YOU for a hug.

Miserable AGAIN in New Jersey. This is to make up for the beautiful September :sunny: we had.

SANDY: DON'T DO IT! Remember "No good deed goes unpunished". My Mom moved in, converted the front room to her bedroom (she has a commode in my living room!). I cook her dinner, do her wash, make her bed, empty her commode & she says we are "punishing her" because she wants to go to HER house. She forgets that my Aunt (who passed away) did EVERYTHING for her for the past 20 years! Her response is I should sell MY house & all of us should move into her ghetto house which is one floow & she sits the commode in the kitchen since there is no bathroom downstairs. Can you imagine sitting at the dinner table & someone sitting on the toilet right next to where you eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DENINE: So glad you had a great date night :love2: :love2:

BONNIE: Hit the lottery. Hit the lottery. Hit the lottery.

HEIDI: Are you snowed in? :cold: We are rained in! :umbrella:

Off Wednesday & Thursday. Back to work Friday (can't wait!). Have a great week - stay warm. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Heidi, I am so happy that Chris wanted me to meet her. When I arrived I wasn't sure if I should hug him or not. I wasn't sure how affectionate that they are between the two of them and if she would get jealous. But.... he came to the door opened armed so I thought "why not?"! I am very happy to have met her. She's pretty cute. She always came to your rescue. I will scan the pic of Chris and the girls so you can show them off.

Here's to more prayers for Bonnie!!

Hi Jeanne, we just crossed posted. :wave2: Are you still on?? Oh my gosh, the situation that you are having with your mom is EXACTLY what we would have with our friend. I mean exactly. The potty, sleeping in the front room everything!!!! Her name is Louise. Anyway Louise received 4 units of blood yesterday.
