While I have never done the fish extenders before, here is what I think would be fun and work well, especially with all the kiddos. I had planned on picking up a lot of little fun things to bring on board (candy, disney erasers, pencils, and various little souvenir type items, and something grown up for the big "kids", a.k.a. adults). A few random times during the cruise I thought the boys and I could run around and distribute the items to all the pockets of all the FE's on our list. That way, the kids will have several little surprises to come "home" to when returning to their cabins or waking up in the morning, and the grown ups will get surprises from time to time as well.
Personally, I won't be offended if people only put things in the bottom 2 pockets of our FE as DH and I won't feel left out if you just want to give out kid stuff on one of your turns. I also don't feel it's necessary to designate times or turns for people, I'd rather it stay sort of anonymous so those who might want to bring lots of loot won't make others feel like slackers if you only give out one goody to everyone. This also keeps the planning to a minimum so all we really need is a list of state rooms and which ones have kids, so I know who gets

princess stuff and who gets

pirate stuff, KWIM?
So there are my two cents...anybody else? I just want to keep it simple but fun.
