11 months to go! I am really looking forward to this vaction. I tried paddle boarding last week for the first time and loved it. I think we are going to rent Kayaks at Castaway Key this time.

Hi Michelle!
WELCOME! The Fish Exchange is a secret santa or gift swap between our meet group. If you search for FE on the main board you will see tons of ideas for creating a FE and gift ideas. The "Fish" is a metal decoration that hangs outside of your door. You add your extender, which can be anything from a plastic bag to a very elaborate mailbox/pocket system. In the past fish gifts that we have done have been first aide kits, with a disney twist, handmade bubble magnets, personalized bookmarks, etc. It does not have to be crazy, some people do a small gift for each individual person in a cabin, and others do a group gift. I hope that explains it. Let me know if you want to participate, I will add you to the list! Please let me know if I can anwser anymore questions for you as well!

Welcome! We were on the dream in August that was when we booked this trip. We had so much fun! I loved the new animator's palate. I am really looking forward to having dinner there again.

Hey Guys,

We are booked on this cruise as part of our Disneymoon and I would love to join the FE please

This is our first cruise, but from what I have read and seen so far I don't think it will be our last!!!! Any recommendations to the best place to buy a FE from as I don't think I am creative enough to make one myself?

We are getting married on 16th October at the Disney Wedding Pavilion and have 27 guests flying out with us from the UK so we are very excited. This cruise will allow us some time to ourselves after 2 weeks with friends and family so we are really looking forward to it!

We are Emma and Scott and on the cruise we will be husband and wife instead of DFis

I ordered our FE from Gradysmommy yesterday, looking forward to sharing gifts with you guys!!!! I also ordered a pillowcase too!

Ugh, I'm so far behind! I started this thread and then fell off the face of the earth. Now that the holidays are over, I should be able to keep up better, I promise!

This is still a girlfriend's weekend getaway for me, but we've upgraded our cabin to an aft balcony. In October of 2011 I cruised with one of my friends...the rest of them couldnt make it, so we decided to save DCL for when we were all together, and went on Carnival instead. We scored an upgrade to a Jr Suite with a tiny balcony, and it has ruined cruising for my friend forever. She was previously an inside cruiser and happy about it. The day she got home she looked at prices, and decided it was worth the extra to upgrade from inside to balcony, lol.

We will want to do the FE also, but I don't want to commit until I know for sure who's cruising. Is there a cut off date? I promise I won't join last minute, but I won't know for sure until closer to final payment.

Either one seems fair to me, by then final payment has been made, and there's still time to organize your gifts. Though if the later date is chosen, latecomers will still get a chance to play. I know on our last cruise many people didn't join the roll call until after final payment time. I'm sure the FE cut off was at least a month before the sail date though.

Lets Do September 1st then. Even if someone orders things and goes to Disney a few days before then that gives them enough time. My friend Susan, her DH, and two kids are also sailing and want to participate in the FE, she just needs to join DIS, now that all the Holidays are over, I will encourage her to hurry up and do that!

I have updated the list! We have 6 cabins which is great for this far out! This is shaping up to be a lot of fun.

Hayden and my son have very simular birthdays, Ryan's Birthday is October 23, he will be 10 though.
