October 16, 2011 Mexican Riviera on the Wonder

I called yesterday and they told me you can bring a pillowcase but you can't drop it off at guest services and have them all autograph it because it got to be to much. They said if you bring the pillow case you have to get the autographs on your own now.

That's an interesting development, as my understanding was that this was partly done to keep the photo lines moving - stopping for autographs slows down photo lines in a major way!

We have only been on the Wonder once before, the rest of our cruises have been on the Magic. So, if we call a restaurant by the wrong name, you will understand, LOL!

Totally! We've been once on the Magic and once on the Wonder. I'm going to get Beach Blanket and Top Siders mixed up

We're open for a lunch meet either Monday or Tuesday, but DW will be in the Vista Spa from 11:30 to 1:10 for an appointment. Tuesday is wide open as of now...

They did say that if your child dresses up in a costume to go to dinner that the waiter will address them as that character that night!! My daughter will LOVE everyone calling her Cinderella. I also asked about baby food and they will puree any fruits or veggies for babies so you don't have to bring a bunch of food on just in case anyone has babies like we do!

Not cool about the pillowcases...

Glad to hear about the pureed fruits and veggies tho! Even tho she's 18 mos now, Valerie still LOVES pureed fruits and veggies!

Well, both cluna & I posted threads asking for feedback on the signed item thing (great minds think alike?), and it sounds like the actual practice on the ship is much better than what the people on the phone are saying. On my thread, I had two people on the Dream get pillowcases signed in July and August, and cluna got confirmation of a photomat signed on the Wonder repositioning cruise that just got back to LA this past weekend! I'm packing the sharpies!

This was getting me a bit upset, as a close friend and fellow Disney nut of our was in a bad motorcycle accident in June, and just went home 2 weeks ago. I bought a frame & mat to get signed and to put our favorite group photo in from DL last August as a gift to keep his spirits up during his long recovery...

I saw your thread also. I got a few more replies on mine and it looks like people are able to drop stuff off at guest services without a problem. Sometimes you have to wonder where the CM's on the phone get thier information.

We are finally in the same month as vacation!!! We have had this cruise booked for almost 2 years and it is finally almost here.

I really hope we have some nice weather. I am sooo tired of rain all the time.

Another day of cold and rain, but it is supposed to get better starting tomorrow.

While I don't go on a cruise to watch movies, I would like to see The Help. We saw Pooh and it was cute.
