Shmoogrrrl....I thought I was the only person I knew that still has baby teeth. I do too, except mine are the two next to my two front teeth. Looks a little odd, but I'm too old to care anymore. If I had the money to get "things" fixed on my old body, they certainly wouldn't be my baby teeth. :teeth:

BTW...loved your comment on the Bush and Hillary subjects. Too funny!! :rotfl2:

I love being entertained by all of you. :cheer2:

Nancy :wave2:

I do have one, so you are not alone. I don't think I've ever met anyone with them either! Mine is hidden back so it isn't noticable as much!

It doesn't take much to get some of the political wonks on that board going, so that will defainatly work! :)

Shocking! I called DCL a couple of weeks ago and they said I could make those reservations over the phone as well as on-line. I'm sorry for posting misinformation Michelle - I guess I spoke with someone who was a little confused. :confused3

It can be very confusing. :confused3 I am not worried though. My TA from MouseEarsVacations said that I will get what I want since I can book early. She said "Remember there are still 75 day people that will book too". So she is right. Booking 89 days out wont' hurt anything. :goodvibes She must not understand how obsessed us DISer's are!

We are staying close to home for the 4th. Brother in law having a pool party at his house on Sunday. He always buys tons of fireworks and we are going to eat and drink and be merry! :drinking1 :mickeybar :love1: :sunny:

Hope everyone has a great weekend! :wave2:

:confused3 What to do??? I got a "Ding" offering STL to MCO for $86 one way!! :confused3 It is getting down there????

I just don't know?? I still think a Fall sale will appear at the end of July or beg of August.

UGH!! This DING ends at 3:00 pm.

Total would be $189 round trip. That is pretty darn good!

Hi Guys...

Just got back from Dr. "IYANKUM"!! I'm less one wisdom tooth now. They had to chip and break it out. Must have been horrible...I wouldn't know, they had to knock me out!!! :rotfl2:

So, I've got my bottle of Tylenol and bottle of rum (yo, ho, ho pirate: ) right next to me should I find the need to induldge this weekend.

I also have a great view of the hallway where Chuck will be working this weekend on the floor!! :teeth:

Talk to ya later...er, I mean, write to ya later. Not much talking for this girl this weekend. (Lucky Chuck)!! :rotfl:

cntkg1...hope you feel better now!

WHEW! my ressie rush is over and i have to say i got almost everything i wanted...my internet was messed up this am so i am just now making my resies...we were hoping for palo brunch at 1000 on sunday at sea but the first available was 1030 so close enough...all the other ressie we wanted we available! :cool1: :flower: :cool1: :flower:

now at 90 days out i can register the rest of my kids under my other ressie!!! i went ahead and registered for high tea at palo for me and my mom...i thought that is something we could share without my hubby being jealous!!! :rotfl:

anyone else make ressies today????

Same here! I was on the road today, and didn't get to do mine until about 4:00 this afternoon. I really like being able to take care of most of this stuff online now. It does seem that DCL needs to add a bit more server capacity though. I kept getting "...site is temporarily busy..." messages. I would hit the "back arrow" in the browser and try again and the request would usually work.
...we were hoping for palo brunch at 1000 on sunday at sea but the first available was 1030 so close enough...
I wanted 11:00 on Monday, and that is what I got, but I was surprised to see that both 10:00 and 10:30 were already gone at the 105-day mark! Also, while I got all the Palo times I wanted (dinner, brunch, and tea), and the one spa appointment my wife wanted, I could not get the "Personal Watercraft Eco Tour" on Castaway Cay. I did this with my (at that time) eleven-year-old son last June and it was a blast, and I planned to book it again this time for myself and my nine-year-old son. Alas, while it shows up on my wish list (meaning it should be available for online booking), it appeared to be completely unavailable at 16 hours into the 105-day mark! I can only assume (hope) that they are holding back a bunch of slots for onboard booking. :confused3

All-in-all a good experience. My St. Thomas and St. Maarten arrangements are not through Disney, so my excursion needs were limited, and only one of the spa activities I was interested in was available online...The rest will have to wait until onboard.

And the excitement continues to build... :hyper: :earsboy: :teeth:

Can anyone tell me the approximate demensions of the room safe? Can we fit our video camera in it along with money and papers?

:confused3

Nancy

Ok....the thread on the other board is too long to read and too many different answers.

What do you guys think about carrying original passports vs. colored copies of passports around on the excursions?

Would you rather take your B.C instead?

Do we really need them once we are off the ship?

TIA,
Nancy :)

Do we really need them once we are off the ship?
I think the official answer from DCL is all that you need is your KTTW card and a photo ID. Some people will always counter that with the comment that they wouldn't want to be in a foreign country without their passport, while others will chime in that passport theft is a real problem, so you should leave the passport in the safe in your room. Taking copies of the passports might be a reasonable compromise, but paper copies are kind of bulky, and I wouldn't really want them to fall into the wrong hands either.

I'll probably just follow DCL's requirement, which is just the KTTW + photo ID (drivers license, not passport).

We made our ressies today, too! It makes the cruise seem so much closer! :cool1: We're doing brunch Monday and Palo dinner Thursday. SamR, I was on this morning and I couldn't get the eco tour either. :confused3 I've heard they only release 50% of the slots...we'll see. Our back up plan is to rent wave runners on St Maarten. (a little cheaper, too ;) )

Nancy, we use passports, but leave them in the safe. KTTW card and picture id gets you on/off the ship. I might be a little paranoid, but...we leave a copy of our passports with someone at home. You know...just in case. :rolleyes1

Hope everyone is having a fun, safe fourth weekend!

Hey Nancy...from fuzzy memory...the room safe it too small. I believe that most 8mm or vhs c 'palm type' would be too large to fit. Some of the ultra small digital units might though.

Safe and enjoyable 4th to all. We are getting sooooooo close.

Does this make me the "Cruise Director" of the Molar Express? Last night I bit into a TicTac and broke a molar!!!! :guilty:

I was finally able to eat something solid after Friday's wisdom tooth episode and dummy me, I chose a TicTac??? How dumb was that? Broke the tooth right in half. Because of my greatest fear in life being the dentist, I'm tempted to just let it go. I don't have to go back for a check up on the wisdom tooth unless I develop "dry socket" (which happened with my other two wisdom teeth extractions).

So far it doesn't hurt and I believe I swallowed it along with the TicTac.

Ymmmmm..yummy!!

:scared1: Okay Nancy, all I can say to that one is "WOW!" :teeth:
Some people have the luck. I think you have definetly earned "cruise director." Let it be known that a TicTac is not just a harmless little piece of candy/mint. :)

Hello!

I hope everyone had a wodnerful holiday! We did! The weather was beautiful and the fireworks were huge!

You people and your teeth scare me. I need to make an appointment for a regular cleaning with the dentist, and I am scared. :)

Important Important!!!!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For anyone flying Southwest.....THere is a HUGE special on.....39$ and up..Systemwide sale...ALmost ALL destinations..

CHeck it out...IT is great...Missy just posted this on our Cruise meet, so I can take no credit...IT is just too good to beat..

I hope it helps someone out there...We were undecided about going, and it looks good now...

Michelle and anyone else. ~ SW doesn't fly out of Minneapolis, Mn, so this doen't help me. But, I saw this & thought you might be interested. :)

I think I will keep off the Tic Tacs. Maybe I whould just eat soft food until October. I am not happy with one of my teeth I have just had work on, will have to make appointment to get it sorted.
I don't know if I you all can remember but a while ago I posted I was going for colonoscopy. Problem was pain in stomach. Couldn't find any problems. Well after more tests, scans and more tests doctors rang me yesterday to say they have found something in a blood test. Going Thursday to find out results. Fingers crossed it is something easy to treat, had the pain for over a year now.
