October 15, 2005 anyone?

the door signs sound like the best way to go...if someone can create a design and help those of us that are computer illiterate download it i think the magnets would be great....don't forget to put a little green mousehead somewhere.... :flower:

Brenda, cute idea! Your idea with the life preserver sounds great. Can't help with the design, I don't have a creative bone in my body. :rotfl: Maybe, I could ask some friends.

cntkg1, sorry about your DH. That does sound scary. Not sure about the set up near the beds.

Good luck to all with on-going dental appt. Less than six months and you'll be smiling for the cameras showing off your expensive work!

Hey guys...just found out that DH needs a c-pap machine (for sleep apnea). Nancy

Hey Nancy...thoughts and prayers with you and DH. From my memory...there is an outlet behind the TV and in the bathroom. I never pulled the bed forward to look behind and see where the bed-side lights get there power from - can anyone else offer support on this one? I assume there is one there and the worst thing is...you'd lose a bed side light.

I'd strongly suggest bringing a power strip or extension cord to to ensure your C-Pap machine has power. Better safe...yea...better safe.

Welcome...you share something dear to my heart...'the name of my DW' - another Nancy on this cruise.

Just let me know what we decide??? All the ideas sound good! :rotfl:

You guys won't believ what I am doing????? I was supposed to be good this summer and not go anywhere.

You know Southwest is having such a great sale??? $59 one way from STL to MCO!!!! Mom just had to mention....."We should just fly down for a few days and go to SeaWorld"! Well don't say that to me cause I am on it! Now we are going!!!! OMG! May 24 for 3 nights...I got such a great deal.

Booked our flights for 3 round trip $389 and then my friend at work got me 3 free SeaWorld passes and Busch gardens tickets. Ok the best part

I called Disney to see if we could get a cool place to stay and they said I had a pin code attached to my name and offered me ANIMAL KINGDOM for $124 per night!!!

Mom has never been to Orlando or WDW and really has no interest, but she just does not know...So even though we are not going to any Disney parks she can still get a little taste of what it is like. So I already made a PS for Ohana and breakfast at Boma. :cloud9: I did all this yesterday!! :cool1:

So our plan is to fly in on Tuesday and do SeaWorld on Wednesday and then just enjoy the resort and eat the rest of the trip.

I just can't believe it!! Then my EX said you go and have fun I will pay for your Airfare...How could I say no! :goodvibes

Don't worry...I will still be able to pay my cruise off...HA!! Just had to share my good news....

babyjosie, that sounds wonderful!!! :flower: Glad it all worked out. I've been getting the itch to go, we have AP's. ;) I think I better stay away from SW website.

Sara

Congrats, Babyjosie! I am green w/ jealousy! ::yes::

Have a great time and say "HI" to the mouse for us. ::MickeyMo

cntkg1, so sorry to hear about your DH. I don't know about the outlet by the bed thing, but if anyone else doesn't have the answer. I bet if you call DCL they could help you out or at least direct you to where you could find out. At least I would think. ??? :)

~Everyone take care and have a beautiful day!!! :sunny: :daisy:

HI Everyone :)

We will be joining the Oct. 15, 2005 cruise. This will be our second cruise with Disney. We went in 2000. Our family includes our two teenagers, Finster (13) and Victoria (15) plus my DH, Lloyd. I am still reading all of the posts and am excited and thankful for all of the advise. We will be staying on Deck 7, with an adjoining room with my In-Laws. In addition my mom, brother and friends from church will also be joining us. We have a group of approximately 6 families joining us. :grouphug: :thewave:
My first question - what does MNSSHP stand for? :confused3 I'm not very good with acronyms.

We're from Denver, Colorado. Anyhow, we've made arrangements with American Airlines for a roundtrip airfare of $214.00 and I've reserved three rooms at the Radisson. I attempted to reserve space on the hotel shuttle but they told me to call two week ahead of the departure date. Did any of you encountered this guideline? Please advise. Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon :flower:

Happy Sailing pirate:
Evelyn Paul (43) and Lloyd Paul (42) :rotfl:

Welcome Evelyn and family.
MNSSHP, Mickey's not so scary halloween party. We have done this 3 times in the past few years, Don't know if we are doing it this year or back to the Sea World halloween festivities again. Can't get into planning for Oct yet, a few trips before then, Netherlands weekend in May, 2 weeks in spain July, and another longer weekend in The Netherlands Aug.
Only thing I think we have decided on for Oct is Discovery cove.

First of all...Welcome to Evelyn/Paul and family. I noticed this was your first post - so, welcome to Disboards as well. It's a great community that shares info on WDW and DCL.

My first question - what does MNSSHP stand for?

we are talking about enjoying this on our week before the cruise. I found an article on MousePlanet written by Sue Holland...it's got some great information - http://www.mouseplanet.com/sue_holland/MNSSHP.htm
hope this helps.

Thanks for the definition. Since we are arriving on Friday, the 14th, we will travel to Port Canaveral and relax at the Radisson. We are thinking of taking a limo or possibly renting a car. I'm coordinating the arrival times of our relatives who'll be arriving from California. :cloud9: I'll have to check with the rental companies versus the limo service/shuttle.

Another question - :Pinkbounc :moped: The Radisson offers a shuttle, can someone confirm that they will not take reservations until 2 week prior to our sail date? I attempted to reserve today but had no luck. Just wondering :confused3

Have a great evening.... :rolleyes1 ;)

Evie and family

Hi Evie,
everybody, Evie did things a bit differently than the rest of us.... she found the yahoo group 1st... then joined the dis.... I saw her join the yahoo group... e-mailed her saying just who are you on the dis.... :cool1:

welcome again evie... and if you haven't figured out already from previous posts, we have decided to call this cruise the Molar Express.... let's hope you don't have to join the rank and file of Molar Express patients....

have a good day....
Paul

We are coming in on the 13th and I rented a car from Budget using the Wal-Mart codes I found and got a Mid-Size for 2 days returning at the Port location for $50.29. Much cheaper than any shuttle I could find and then they have a free shuttle to the port after you drop the car off. :cool1:
We have those codes under links on the Yahoo group,

Have you stayed at the Radisson before? We just love it there too,but this time we decided to stay at WDW 2 nights before the cruise.

GOOD NEWS ALL....I am finally paying off my CROWN from my root canal next week....Hope the rest of my teeth stay in tact. I hate the Dentist. :sad2: Took me awhile cause it was not a top priority...hee hee

Our fun sunny weather is done for a while. COLD this weekend.brrr :cold:

Have a good weekend all. :wave2:

Welcome to the newbies! Michelle is right...the weather here in STL is cold this weekend. I hate it when this happens - two weeks of 80 degree weather and then it drops into the 40s. At least it isn't snowing.

I'm intrigued by the mention of magnetic paper...and I guess we would need a color printer to use it in? I'm trying to find out if my nephew can draw a prototype of our molar express logo once he finishes his final exams early in May.

Brenda, ~We used magnetic paper last time. You can buy it at Walmart. I had looked at Target, but I couldn't find it there, but things could have changed since then. I only had 10 pieces. It's a little expensive. I fitted all the logo's, icons, whatever I needed on one page at a time and then printed it out on regular paper first to see what it would look like and to make sure that a part of the logo's/icon's weren't cut off. Then when I was satisfied with everything I printed it out on the magnetic paper and then cut everything out. The magnetic paper was cool. I printed it out in color and I didn't have to set my printer to anything special (The m. paper is thicker). now most of our magnets from our last cruise is on our refrigerator. :) A nice memory. ::MickeyMo

Well, like you, it's cold here too. We had 80 degrees on Monday and now it currently 43 degrees here now. :cold: I turned the heat back on!

Oh well! ~Everyone, have a nice weekend! :) :sunny:

Hi all...

Well, I think good old Wisconsin can beat everyone else with the weather. We actually had a little snow this morning after two weeks of 65-80 degrees!!!

If anyone can tell me how to show a picture of our stateroom door magnet, I'd gladly share. I had our graphic designer at work do it for me before she quit. I thought she did a great job and I can't wait to use it.

Also....thanks for the thoughts and prayers for DH. I posted last week that he needs a CPAP machine for sleep apnea. I also posted that the Dr told us he stopped breathing 3 times during his test and his heart stopped twice. Boy, did we ever have that info wrong!! Turns out his breathing stopped 148 times in one hour (which equals 3 times a minute)!!! Yikes!!! He's been using his machine for a couple nights and not complaining about it too much.

I'm so happy we found out about this problem before it was too late. It's been 25 years for us and I love him to pieces and still "like" him too!!!

I'll also check around to see if someone can help us with our new "Molar Express" logo.

See you all soon!!! Less than 175 more days now.

Nancy :cheer2:

Other good places to look for it are the office supply stores (Office Max, Office Depot, etc.)...That's where I got mine. Yeah, it is kind of expensive, but then again one package should provide plenty of material to decorate your door with (plus enough left over for a few refrigerator magnets).

Hey, we hit another milestone today:

 175 Days and Counting!

FinVicMom...

I made my ressie at the radisson a couple months ago and i was able to reserve my shuttle time....i have heard of some people having trouble doing this but other disers advise them to call back and talk to a different reservation agent to get on the shuttle you want...we personally have reserved the earliest one! :flower:

Babyjosie98 and txaggie94gigem:
:sunny: :) Thanks for the replies. I will call again this week and see if we can reserve. In the meantime, I contacted Budget and used the discount codes via the Yahoo link. This is definantely a great deal :3dglasses The discount actually is better than our USAA and even Costco discounts.

Yesterday our good friends shared that they are also joining the cruise. They have two lovely daughter of which the older daughter will be celebrating her 14th birthday  But it will be a suprise for the girls :cheer2: Our group from Denver is getting larger and now we have a total of 22 cruisers!!!

This is also our kids fall break and that's probably why this cruise is filling up quickly. Hope you have a great week and BabyJosie- good luck with the crown. I had to get two crowns and root canals a few years back :guilty:

I love reading the threads!!! :earsboy:

Hi Everyone!

Greetings from Massachusetts. We'll be cruising right along with you in October and can't wait. For the four of us (me, DH, DD-7, and DS-almost 2) this will be our second cruise (the first was in January). My parents, father-in-law, and my cousin and her husband will be joining us this time. We keep telling them how much they will LOVE it. We are going down the day before and staying four days later at one of the vacation club resorts. I can't wait!!!!

Just had a taste of the Caribbean weather - we were in Jamaica for an extended weekend for our anniversary last week. GREAT time, except for a little too much rain :-(

Can't wait to get on that boat!!
