We are still here Nancy. Not been reading Disboards much. Been too busy with work, booking holidays (no cruises unfortunatly) buying a new car, and VMK amongst other things.
Have to go and enjoy last few hours of my Birthday, 1 more year to the big 40 .

Still lurking aroung...Been on the WDW board mainly. Planning our trip for May.

Then I got sick last week!! Can you believe this???? "FOOT AND MOUTH" disease??? Huge lesions and open sores on my throat and mouth. Thought I was going to die!! Gary had to take me to Urgent care on Sunday. Got some good meds!!! Thank goodness. I was just in tears crying to the doctor...
They did not think I would be back to work at all this week,but I had a quick turn around and was able to come back today. Thank goodness for Z-packs!

They figure Josie brought it home to me. Very rare in adults!!!!

Other than that....Nothing much going on???

we are doing great but we too have all been fighting the respiratory gunk this year! we took the plunge and booked another cruise before the big 2007 one and are doing a double dip in november....the cruise meet group is okay but not nearly as fun as you guys!

i am hoping they are going to europe...that is what most of the buzz says...i have faxed inevntory control with my room request for the repo cruise to europe or alaska, whichever it may be...i hope to hear from them before the dates are released so i can get what i want without all the hullabaloo like the repo ressies were last year...

i like all the new smilies!!! i am glad to hear everyon is doing okay....hang in there michelle!!!

I just had surgery today and will be out of work for the next two weeks...although we won't know the final test results until next week it sounds like I dodged a bullet - also know for sure now that Jay and I won't ever be having kids...but that just means we don't have to grow up now.

Michelle - sorry to hear about your illness and I hope you're doing better. I thought that Foot and Mouth Disease was a fairly common condition among cows and horses...is it possible since you have a farm that you picked it up from one of your animals?

Since this thread is showing signs of life again, I'll toss in my two pfennigs:

Just got back from a week at WDW. Spent several days at the Beach Club while attending the Lotusphere conference (Swan/Dolphin), and then Suzanne and the boys came down for a family vacation - nice coincidence having two no-school days for a long weekend. We switched over to the Beach Club Villas, since we joined DVC while on the cruise.

Had a great time hitting the parks. Weather was great, crowds were relatively light, and got to see some new attractions - Soarin, Lights, Motors, Action ... and a new little mountain - Expedition Everest! What a blast!! Can't wait to try it again.

Hope everyone is surviving the winter. We hope to be cruising again for spring break 2007.

I saw the movies a couple of people took on the ride.... looks like it could be taxing on the body... forward, back, forward, back, forward and down the drop.... and lots of changing from light to dark and back going through the tunnels... and what about the Bumble (Yeti)??

Don't laugh ... I originally ticketed with them, a week before they announced bankruptcy. When it was painfully obvious they weren't going to make it, we got alternative flights on USAirways, for a smidge more. Fortunately, AMEX refunded our original ticket prices.

EE was awesome. Wish I spent more time 'soaking in' the work of the imagineers. We zipped through with fastpass. I thought it was great, and DW thought so too .. and she's not a roller coaster fan. Kids, however, didn't care for it. Guess they won't be roller coaster junkies growing up like I was.

Hi kids! Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to all of you who offered get wells here on the board or through private channels. I really appreciate it and am happy to report that I am going crazy here at home and cannot wait to get back to work.

And in another week I will probably be quoted by someone at work as saying, "I cannot wait for my next vacation - I need a break from this place!"

EE sounds like an awesome ride...can't wait to try it myself one of these days or months.

Speaking of – DCL’s 07 mystery cruises…this is just plain crazy. We are hopeful for either east/west Caribbean the second or third week of October in 07 – I would soooo much like to get a deposit down on connecting SPR’s – buy nooooo…I feel like I am in ‘queue’ at the front of the Parks…wanting to buy a ticket….when will the madness end.

We want to go on Oct. 07 too, We are looking for the week of Oct 13-20th. That's MEA week for our kids. We are bringing them this time around. We too want connecting SPR's. I am getting a little antsy with all this waiting & I have a feeling that when the rest of the dates/rates do come out that it will be this mad and mass rush for ressies.
