October 15, 2005 anyone?

We're going back and forth about what we want to do...but knowing that there are some molars planning on October 2007 is very tempting indeed. :goodvibes

I went back to work yesterday... I think it may have been the longest day of my life (except for the day before you leave on your scheduled vacation).

Hi Brenda! I haven't been around lately & after I just read your msg I had to go back & see why you were just getting back to work. AND, then I remembered. I hope & pray all is well w/ you, Jay, & your kitty. :) :cat:

Long time no post, guys, but I just had to let all of you know that the little bun in the oven that joined us on our cruise back in October was born on Monday. We brought little Caroline home today and have already added her to our October 2006 Disney cruise!

Hey Jen! Hope all has been well in the frozen tundra of Minnesota. I'm doing very well and have just added some new pills to the mix - at the rate I'm going I can open my own pharmacy soon. :teeth:

Handsome Pete says howdy to you and your kitties. He said if we all lived a bit more closely to each other he'd stop by and teach them the finer points of electrical cord chewing. It's probably better that he can't do that, though. ;)

Is your MIL doing any better since we last talked? And when are you guys planning on sailing with Mickey again?

Take care!!

Brenda :goodvibes

Paige,

Congratulations on the addition of a new Astros fan to your family!!! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

It sounds like you and she are doing well - hope that your family continues to be happy and healthy. Say hello to Mickey for us in October (we'll keep our fingers crossed for good weather).

Brenda :goodvibes

Paige Congrats on your newest little blessing! :dumbo:

Brenda, I'm so glad your doing well.
I think Handsome Pete & out younger kitty, Gigi would probably be bad influences on each other. Gigi has an infinity to green olives & anything that has to do with polly pockets. There has been many of a time were we have heard a high pitch screech of "Gigi" from Haleigh do to the fact that Gigi got into her polly pockets in the middle of the night & chewed off the ponytails, ate the little shoes & put tiny cat teeth marks in poor polly's clothes. Oh well, you gotta luv those kitties. :cat:

In regards to my MIL, she's basically getting by. She is not consistant with her meds or following up with a dr. My SIL's are not, (and I feel should be) proactive in making sure she get's to the dr & takes her meds. I guess it's hard when everyone is busy w/ their own lives & my MIL who is wonderful is also stubborn & doesn't quite believe in dr's. :)

Anyhoo, did you have a nice Valentines? Mark & I have bought Pellegrino quite a few times, which we never did pre-cruise. Was it a lemon or a lime that kind of inhances the flavor? I have been doing lemon, but I couldn't quite remember & I couldn't remember what our server in Palo put in our glass. Oh well, my memory fades in and out. :teeth: Also, we plan on sailing with Michey October 13-20th, 2007. It's just driving me crazy waiting. I don't do very well waiting or with surprises. I want to know now and I want to plan now! :teeth: As far as Eastern or Western? I(we) enjoyed them both. I would love to go to Europe, but we are bringing the kids along with us this time & the expense with five is a lot more than with just the two of us. And, we had allready planned on doing some sort of European "land" trip when the kids are a little older with some friends of ours & then they can utilize some of their French too. Okay, I think I'm done now. :chat:

Oh, & I love all the new smileys. :darth: :yoda: :chewy: :ewok: -These are for my boy's. :sunny:

Congrats Paige!!! Caroline was born on my grandma's birthday!! pixiedust:

Sure wish we would have met on the cruise. A few people said they met you in the terminal, but I never did. I probably sat next to you a few times without even knowing it.

Take care and treasure her always!!

Nancy :sunny:

Hi Jen! Glad to hear that she's holding her own - sounds like the best you can hope for at this point. It's hard to convince people to do the things that are best for them, ever notice that?

As for the pelligrino - we add lemon to it, but we've also tried lime and that works very well, too. Once, we were very daring and tried both - it made for a very colorful beverage! :)

Valentines day is something Jason and I quit officially celebrating a few years back. We save it all up for anniversaries and vacations - :teeth: .

Hope you all enjoy your family cruise next year - not sure yet what we're going to be doing.

Take care!

Brenda

Congrats Paige! :sunny:

Not much going on here in Missouri!! COLD and everyone seems to be sick with a cold!!

I did get to go to Florida for a short trip with my Great Aunt and Parents 2 weeks ago. Punta Gorda Florida!! Very quiet laid back retirement area... Just torcher to go for 3 days and then come back to 20 degrees! :scared:

We too are thinking of booking for Oct 13,2007 on the Magic or just the 4 day on the 14th?? Not sure yet? Waiting for prices? The price on the 4 day has really went up during that week??? I was hoping that the 10-13-07 would have a new itinerary in the Caribbean???? :goodvibes

Just paid my points off that I rented for our Disney trip at the BWV! I am very excited about that! :cool1: All we need now is for Southwest to come through with a deal!!!! Nothing yet? :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: pixiedust:

Anyway I hope you are all doing fine...I need to take some time to catch up on this thread!

By the way things are going so wonderful with Gary back in our lives.... We are looking toward the future together now and may even be planing a beach wedding in Key West for 2007~~~~~~ :goodvibes Not rushing it though......

Take care everyone!

yup... Grace picked Gary out in a crowd at Budget to talk to... He must be a good guy...

Congrats on the little un Paige...

rather than pay attention to the groundhog... (Punxy phil is like 50% right) I like to trust that when spring training starts, spring is just around the corner...

Come on Spring Training!!! that means summers almost here...

Later,
Paul

P.S. Our daredecvil Grace fell down the same set of stairs twice this weekend head first... and only has a few little bruises and a Mommy that's sprouting white hairs to show for it....

Glad to see this thread never really died , We already have about 20 people who are committed to going in October 2007 - just waiting for it to get posted. Would'nt it be something if this thread just kept going and going.... it would be awesome if alot of us ended up together again !!!
Only time will tell

Lynnie

We are waiting too.

I have looked into the 4 day Oct 14th sailing and even for Cat 12 guar it will be $1700 for the 3 of us.
That is up a lot from our past Wonder sailing. I sailed in 2003 Cat 10 with 3 people for $1300??? Oh well I guess it is too be expected! :scared:

So I would really like to price the 10-13-07 cruise before I make my decision?
I wish it would have a different itinerary?

We were booked on the double dip 10-14-06 cruise, but I cancelled. :(

We have decided to head west this October..We are going to spend 2 days at the Grand Canyon and then 2 days in Sedona. I have always wanted to go out there and so it will be something different. :goodvibes

Bye,
Michelle

Hi Michelle! I think the rumor is that the dates & rates for the rest of October will come out some time in April. The sooner the better, I hope! :wizard:

I wonder if everyone will make a mad rush when they do come out? My best friend, her DH & DD & DS are more than likely going too. I can't wait! I am already starting the obsessive behaviour again and it's a year & a half away & the cruise isn't even booked yet. I'm just excited that my best friend & her family will be coming & our kids are around the same age so they will gave an awesome time. :sunny:

I will be waiting. Don't know if I will book right away, but plan to decide this Summer. :thumbsup2

I really would like to do the 7 day again if they have a new Itinerary. Otherwise we may do the 4 day on the Wonder and then go to the Halloween party at MK. :teeth:

I want to dress Gary up as the Phantom so I can be Christine!! :scratchin

I love the Halloween party at MK......

Michelle

We are going to Mickey's halloween party this year and I've already told Jason that I'm dressing up as Minnie Mouse. He said he's going to wear a white lab coat over his clothes and when CMs ask what he is he's going to say that he's a research scientist looking for an escaped, very large, genetically engineered female mouse. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Never a dull moment in our house.

I'm posting just because I can't imagine this board dead!!

What are your future WDW/cruise plans?

Anyone out there????

Nancy :wave2:

Hi Nancy & Everyone still around.
We will be around Disney area Aug 3rd for 25 nights and again Dec 26th for 11 nights.
Not doing Disney cruise because of the cost. Compared with what we paid in Oct it is silly(more for 4 nts than we paid for 7). Considering Royal Carribean for 4 nights just to give it a try. Works out less than half the cost of Disney and R.C. is Outside cabin.
Don't know if we will be disappointed after Disney.
Bye for now
Wayne

We'll either do a four night cruise with DVC points alone, or a seven night (Eastern) with DVC points for the adults and cash for the boys. It'll be at the holiday rate, since our school district does spring break the week before Easter.

Jamie

Hi everyone!
We are doing an Eastern oct.13-20th, 2007. We are going during MEA week at school so the kid's will only miss 3 days. Our friends were going to come along, but then the price kind of scared them so they are opting for the 3 day during the same week we are going. I'm still working on them, though. I think they will have more fun doing a 7 day versus a 3 day, Besides, they will be with us. :teeth:

Wayne,

I know what you mean about prices!! :confused3 Scary!!

We are booked on RCL for 4th of July week for 3 times less than DCL and we get to go to Key West. I am anxious to see RCL private Island Coco Cay. I have been on RCL before and service is great!! You don't have the Characters, but I still enjoyed the trip. You just can't compare it to Disney! Look at it as a new experience!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

We are planning a trip Dec 13 to WDW for a couple nights and then I was going too book the 3 day DCL and the cost for 3 in a Cat 11 was $1400. Then I priced RCL and the 3 day was under $700 for a Oceanview stateroom.
So We are going with RCL for that trip also... :thumbsup2 I love Disney, but I can not pay double for just a 3 day cruise. The RCL ship is newly refurbished and has gotten great reviews lately.

I also priced the DCL Oct 13,2007 Magic sailing and I was actually happy with the quoate. Our SPR room in Cat 10 was $2600 for the 3 of us. :wizard: I am not ready to book that yet and I know I will lose that room, but that is ok.

I have my Disney trip paid off for May and I finally got my airfare!! Although the flight out to Orlando is at 5:00pm! :guilty: So I will be watching for them to open up one of the early times for $69 and then I will switch! I want to get down there earlier!!!!

Ok...That is all I know!! Take care everyone! :sunny:

Oh yeah..Tomorrow is the first day of Spring and we are supposed to get sleet and 4 inches of snow tonight!!! :sad2: Yuk!
