Heard from Coleen our TA yesterday - Docs are in and she sent them out today!!! WoooHooo....Ill do a little more dancing once I have them inhand - hopefully by Saturday!

All I can say is that they better have that Walt Disney Suite ready for us! I thought I read somewhere that the last person on a particular thread to get their docs is automatically upgraded to the Walt or Roy suite. Let's see...where did I read that.......?

Congrats Michelle for getting your docs and finding that great deal on those pants.. Nancy, thanks for all those answers and wouldn't that be just great if you got into the Walt Disny Suite I think all of us would like to have that much luck

General question ??? Will Topsiders also have the Pirate themed dinner? We booked the dolphin encounter and am worried that we may not get back in time for the first seating? If we are 15 to 30 minutes late, can we still eat during first dining?? Also has anyone purchased the internet package? Was it worth it, which is better- the wireless or the computer usage in the lounges? Thanks for your reply.

Brenda...I read the cruise threads about the massages too......but we are still getting our couples massage, I figure everyone will be ready for us since they will have had some time without cruisers and will be ready to go!!! We will get the best of everything!!

Does MMNSHP cost extra besides our admission to the Magic Kingdom? We may go there Saturday night after our cruise.

Nancy - MMNSHP is only held on certain nights, and I do not believe Saturday the 22nd is one of them. I think there are a couple of us going on Sunday night. And if you get a suite... I say we move our dismeet to your room! In fact, you might not be able to get rid of us. Seriously, that would be so cool if you were upgraded to a suite!! Sending pixie dust for docs & upgrade

I don't think they ever have the party's in Saturday nights at MK cause that is there busiest day. You could catch the Sunday party?? We went on Halloween night 2 years ago.... We had the best time!! The Headless Horseman was my favorite!! Gave me "goosebumps"!!!!!

I picked up some adorable long dangle earings for formal night yesterday and I got some nice hair clips. My hair is getting so long that I can't find many clips to hold it all up. The ones I got will work perfect! Some of the dresses I am bringing are definetly hair up dresses! The one I got for Palo night is a little sexy!! (just a little) I figure that is ok since it is our adult only night out!!

Ok...I gotta try and get to work..It is getting harder and harder to concentrate!

I feel your pain. Current temperature here is 92, with a heat index of 101. And that's AFTER a cold front came through. With that cold front, feels like it's time to bring out the parkas!

I am starting to question the wisdom of taking a Caribbean vacation after a long summer here in southeast Texas. Right now the last thing I want is more heat. I could really go for some cool dry air right now.

Can't pack yet because I still need all my hot-weather clothes.

I believe you must be able to use magnets on them from what I have read. My Aunt and I are working on a door sign for my door. Guess we better bring some tape!!

Tomorrow night my best friend and I are going to my Aunt's for a pre cruise get together. She is on the Marinier of the Seas the day after we leave! Our ships are in St.Thomas together.

I was looking at the Port schedules and it looks like we are the only ship in Port at St.Maarten and then 4 ships in port for St.Thomas.
I need to check again when October comes up,but according to Sept that is what it looks like??

Oh yeah....We woke up to 49 degrees in St.Louis today! Very refreshing actually!! It was also a long hot summer for us.... This is nice!

Paige, I think your cold front blew through here last night - we had some wicked storms during rush hour yesterday and by the time I got home the temperature had dropped to 65 - it was 45 when I left the house this morning. First official taste of fall but it's going to be warm again this weekend.

Yes, and a number of passengers (probably DISers primarily) do! Since the doors are metal, most folks buy the magnetic paper that you can buy at places like Office Max or Depot for you ink jet printer. Create a design, print it out, and you have "instant door art".

I know what you mean, Paige. Here in NC, we are close to the record for the hottest September ever. We're finally supposed to get a little touch of fall tomorrow (low in the 50's, high in the mid-70's), and I am excited about it. I love cool weather...Makes you wonder why I would book a cruise to tropical climates right about the time the weather here cools off.

Yeah,but Sam just think....With those trade winds blowing off the Caribbean Sea it will fabulous!!!! Not Hot!! Even at night on the ship it should cool down real nice.... It did on our past 2 cruises and they were in Oct-beg of Nov... Should not be sticky and hot like our summer has been! YUCK...

One thing I won't do is sail in January again!! The nights were so cold and windy that you could not even sit on deck and enjoy the evening. The ports were nice,but the minute we hit open sea it would get cold and rough!! The last night we had 30-40 foot swells!!! I can't imagine a Hurricane being any worse!! I know it can be nice,but you take a chance. If I go anywhere in Jan again it will be on land..Mexico or some place like that??

at walmart, you will find magnetic strips... it's probably tons cheaper than the magnetic sheets...

it's like 8 dollars for 3 - 8"x11" sheets versus 2-4 dollars for 7 foot roll of magetic tape

We had frost this morning. I think the temp was around 37 when I woke. Currently it is around 70 outside with a high of around 90 tomorrow. The nights are really cooling off, but the days are pretty decent.

Michelle - you talked about some things you found for our distag. Are you getting items for each member in the cabin or are you just focusing on the dis member?

If this helps...I'm leaving a grab bag for each cabin...in certain "special" cases I've personalized them for the DIS member a bit, but otherwise they're...well, I can't really say because that would ruin the fun!

As for the immigration form, I put the date of arrival as the day we are at Castaway Cay, since that is the only island we're visiting in the Bahamas.
