PRELIMINARY FINDINGS......THE CANCER HAS NOT RETURNED!!!! :cool1: :flower: :sunny: ;) :) :rotfl: :teeth: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:  :bounce:

Dr sent in blood work but is convinced all is good now. No checkup until spring for me. He said that if the cancer would return it is usually within a year of first being diagnosed.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone!!!!

Nancy :flower:

All the prayers worked!

Time is passing so quickly....I can't wait! :goodvibes Not too much longer and the Magic will be returning to Port Canaveral. ;)

Good morning, fellow cruisers on the Molar Express! I just found another example of why it is good to check the DISBoards often for news since DCL (and Disney in general) isn't always great about providing plenty of notice on changes in policy. I just read on the Cruise board that you can now book the "Exotic Rasul" online. Sure enough, I gave it a try and now have it reserved!

So, for those of you that were interested (and are within the booking window)...Act quickly! It looked to me like almost all of the times are available now, but I suspect they will go fast!

That's one more thing prearranged that doesn't have to be taken care of on embarkation day! :earsboy:

I just happned to take a look while I was pretending to work and suddenly there is this message from our trusty captain.

I called home because it's DH's late day at work...got our confirmation number and it's true!! You can book the Rasul on-line and it still only costs $83 - a great bargain for 90 minutes of uninterrupted bliss!!

I am thrilled that we don't have to worry about the embarkation day rush... we'll just get up to the spa for rainforest passes and life will be good.

Thanks, Sam!!

Dude! I think that you need to step away from the coffee. :)

Nancy - that is wonderful news regarding the cancer    I am happy of your results. :flower: :Pinkbounc :sunny:

I just booked the Rasul too and found out that the Dolphin Encounter and the St. Maarten scuba tour are fully booked. We were able to book the teens for "The Wild Side" at Castaway Cay via DCL. They said we need to check periodically for any cancellations for those excursions that are fully booked.

? Has anyone taken a taxi and or rental car to explore St. Maarten? :confused3 I've reserved the Under 2 Flags tour but am thinking that for $19 and only 3 hours, we may not be able to do much shopping or to have lunch in Marigot. Any opinions???

Thanks :earboy2:

Thanks Sam...i just booked the rasul too! Almost all times were still avaulable! Now i do not have do anything else for ressie rush!!! Except wait and see if we will get the stingray excursion on castaway cay in time for our cruise.....

Nancy...GREAT NEWS!!! :grouphug: :thewave: :thewave:

We are getting so close i can smell the ocean!!!!

I believe there are daily "Friends of Bill W" meetings (AA) on the Magic. I think Paul needs to look for a "Friends of Juan Valdez" meeting! :rotfl:

FinVicMom,

I did some checking on Cruise-critic and other St.Maarten sites and they say the best way too see the Island is to rent a car and set off on your own! ;)

So that is what me and my friend are doing. I am renting a Jeep for the day for $65 and we are splitting the cost. It is through Best Deal Car rental and the specialize in one day car rental for cruise ship passengers. You pick it up right at the port and return it there too. Very convenient and lots of good feedback from Cruise-critic boards. :cool1:

I think it is worth checking into. They say you can't get lost cause only one main Highway goes all the way around the Island(37 Square miles). Very safe too and they drive on our side of the road. We are excited about exploring the Island and beaches on our own. I will try and attach the link and you can check out the rental. :flower2:

Happy all of you got your Spa times reserved! I am still waiting for them to add that Lime & Ginger Saltglow and massage. I hope I can atleast reserve it on board. I atleast have a reg massage scheduled just in case. ;)

You are keeping upwith the hours? Wow! What time will we be at 2000? I feel like I should have a Guavaberry Colada in honor ofthe trip! :)

That's wonderful new's nancy! I'm so happy for you and your family! :goodvibes :jumping1: :cool1: :)

Sam, thanks for the info on the "Exotic Rasul." I went and booked it right away. :)

Paul, I'm with you on the coffee. The hazelnut creamer is my favorite too, but w/out the Splenda.

My Hubby comes home tomorrow from Guam. I can't wait! :love2: :lovestruc  :flower3:

You are keeping upwith the hours?
OK, I probably shouldn't admit this, but I do that, too. I usually don't start keeping track (mentally) of the hours until I get to about 12 weeks away.
What time will we be at 2000?
12 weeks is equal to 2016 hours. This Saturday we will be twelve weeks from embarkation. So, depending on what point you want to count down to (your estimated embarkation time, arrival time in Florida, departure time from home, etc.), adjust appropriately. In my case, I start my vacation on Tuesday afternoon before the sailing (and we leave the next day), so I'm counting down until that point (my vacation start), putting me at about 1972 hours to go! (But who's counting! :teeth: :rotfl: )

Hey! I can't help it! I'm an engineer...We like numbers! :earsboy:

Speaking of numbers, have you guys seen the ridiculous temperatures (both daytime highs and nighttime lows) in the southwest? Kevin: You keeping cool :cold: and staying hydrated :drinking: out there?

Quick Question....

Does DCL give us shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap every day in our bathrooms?
(Making out my packing list instead of working.... :rotfl2: )

Thanks,
Nancy :flower:

They do give you shampoo and soap and lotion. I don't think they give conditioner unless it is IN the Shampoo. I bring my own Shampoo and soap,so I don't know anything about that, but I love the lotion! :) I don't think it is anything special, I think it just reminds me of the cruise. :)

Okay, so I am leaving around 4:00am the Saturday before we cruise (a week before) how many hours would it be out starting tomorrow at 4:00am?

I don't do Math. I was much more a student of History. :)
