Hi.

I currently have a trip booked at Fort Wilderness Campground from October 14th-21st.

I might have to change my Reservation to a different resort and then came across the Wonderful Weeks of Disney.

I saw that the week of October 14-21st is not listed as one of the weeks, even though the rest of the month of OCtober is.

So, I priced a package at All Star Sports October 21st-28th.

Then, out of curiosity, to see the difference in price, I tried to price one for October 14th-21st.

When I plugged in those dates, it said NO ROOMS AVAILABLE. WE SEARCHED A FEW OTHER RESORTS AS WELL AND TO PLEASE CHANGE YOUR DATES.

Does anyone know if something big is going on the week of October 14th - 21st??

Okay, so I just got done chatting online with a Disney Reservation Agent(gosh, that was cool..lol) and she said that October is normally pretty busy due to conventions.

Does anyone know what kind of conventions are held and when they normally are during October?

Hi.

The wonderful weeks of disney are weeks that are supposed to be lighter in crowds, determind by Disney themselves.

On the main page on disboards, where it lists all the thread catergories, at the top there is something called Dis Site Updates.

It is the 2nd thing in there right now....

It would appear that in many cases not all the rooms have been released to the online reservations system for some weeks in 2008.. As a rule of thumb, the later you go in the year, the less rooms are available.

I'd try calling.

I'm moving this over to Resorts since it's more of Resorts/Booking question.
